Jack knelt in front of Charlie beside the injured man. He placed his fingers on the man's neck, checking his pulse. He was as dead as a doornail. Jack sat back on his haunches and looked at the panicked Charlie.
"What others? Who is coming? Are you alright, Charlie?" Jack asked.

Claire spotted Jack and Charlie and pulled the blanket tighter around her and Rebecca. "What's going on Charlie?" she asked softly as she reached his side.

Charlie shook his head. "I don't know! He just said that the Others were coming! He made sure that he told me that before he died. He said that they are coming!"

Jack put a hand on Charlie's shoulder.
'Charlie, you listen to me. Calm down, you're not doing yourself any good right now. I don't know what's out there, or what happened to this guy, but it's not going to hurt us," Jack said sternly.

Suddenly the sound of loud drums beating came from somewhere high upon the island.
Charlie looked to Jack. "But they are coming." He replied.
Suddenly the drums stopped and Charlie got to his feet, looking around. He then saw something that made his heart stop. A large, billowing cloud of black smoke was rising from the island. He turned to Jack and Claire.

Jack stood up following Charlie and looked around the island also noticing the column of thick black smoke. He swallowed thickly and looked at Charlie.
"We have to go find out what that is and where it's coming from," Jack reasoned.

Charlie nodded, then turned to Claire. "I'm going with him Claire, you and the baby go and stay with . . ." Charlie racked his brain. "Go stay with Sayid." He then turned back to Jack. "If we're going to go, I say we do it when it's light out. Get some kind of weapons."

Claire nodded and made her way back to the cave. She sat down in her coner with her blanket and Rebecca.

Jack nodded.
"I've got a few pistols in a case stashed away. We can get those and head out now. We can still find it before dark," he stated.
Jack turned and walked off into the jungle to find the case with the guns and ammunition in it.

Charlie went to get Sawyer and Kate. They'd be a lot of help, plus they'd also want to know what was going on. Before he could get to them though eh bumped into Locke.
"What's going on?" Locke asked.
Charlie hesitated from telling him anything, then leaned close to him and whispered. "We're going to find out who the 'Others' are."
Locke frowned. "What are you talking about Charlie?"
"I found a man daggleing in the jungle. He said that the others are coming. Look!" Charlie pointed up at the large cloud of smoke and Locke peered at it.
"I'm going with you." he replied.
Charlie nodded and went in search for Sawyer and Kate.
((Can anyone else play Locke or Sawyer???))

Jack grabbed the entire case of artillery he had and rushed back to the caves to toss some things into his backpack. He grabbed extra water bottles, rubbing alcohol, gauze and some other things. Once he had everything he ran off towards the beach.
"Charlie!" He called as he ran.

Charlie turned to see Jack. "Locke is coming with us. I'm going to find Sawyer and Kate, then we'll be ready to leave." Charlie replied. He looked at the stuff Jack had. "Do you need a hand?"

Jack handed Charlie a 9mm semi automatic and watched him take off into the distance.

Charlie got Sawyer and Kate, both were arguing about him having a gun, but he paid them no attention as they met up with Locke and Jack. "Okay, we're all here. Sayid is watching Claire . . ."Charlie was muttering to himself. ((Can you play Sawyer or Kate???))

((I'll do Kate, I don't think I'm evil enough to do Sawyer. xd ))
"Good, let's go. Wait," Jack said.
He pulled a couple more guns from his bag, handing one to each of Locke, Sawyer and Kate.
"Watch it with those," he warned. "Let's move."
Kate took the gun, glad for some kind of protection. She followed Jack and the others off into the jungle.
"So where exactly are we headed? Do you know where the black smoke is coming from?" She asked.
