  Emi blinked a bit and moved her face back just a little, feeling a tad uncomfortable with how close his face was to hers, especially when she looked into his eyes. It wasn't that they creeped her out, more of the opposite effect. She thought they looked amazing. Realizing that she had maintained eye contact for longer than usual, she would break her gaze away. Hearing his next statement, she would glance at him again. "While I am not, my mother was a protector of a small village or rather the forest around it. She made sure that they didn't destroy too much of the land or over hunt the creatures that lived there."
She didn't know too much about it though. She was more interested in her father's way of life and the humans, but now she kind of wished that she had listened to her mother more. Looking into the male's hypnotic eyes again, she would smile softly again. "I have heard that it means that as well, but the characters used for my name holds the meaning of blessing and beauty." She would explain to him. She thought the name of Iris was fitting for him with how his eyes looked.
When he straightened up a bit and there was more space between them, her tail would start to gently sway once again before she picked up her drink and took a sip. It burned her tongue a little, but thankfully it wasn't as hot was when it was first handed to her. "I don't mind at all. It is very interesting for me as well. I knew there were more of my kind out there but I never expected to actually meet one." She thought her kind was usually aloof and stuck to themselves. She got her kind heart from her mother, but her adventurous and friendly side was from her father. Taking a bite of the muffin, she would chew and swallow before looking at Iris once again. "I arrived here only yesterday.. How about you?" She asked, tilting her head.

He raised an eyebrow, quite intrigued at the being before her. Never had he came across a zenko who had not been offered the task of a protector, and to be honest, he still doubted her, but then again, who has Iris ever trusted? He simply brushed it off, unwilling to pursue this subject any further than required. It was only when it came to his own kind, that Iris had been quite curious. Normally, he never really cared, at least not towards other races. He sipped on his coffee, a numbing feeling spreading across his tongue. Was it burnt? He couldn't really feel anything, except what seemed like a soft flesh within his mouth. His tongue felt numb, and he could only assume that was what happened. How troublesome. "And they were certainly right regarding to beauty." Iris chuckled, his flawless facade returning to his features. He'd rest his elbows against the table top and lean forward, widening his eyes as he gazed at her. "I got my name from my eyes, see?" and it seems, that was the only aspect about him that he couldn't change. He couldn't conceal his eyes, and many feared him for the way he looked. Like an animal, they said, but there were many that loved him, many that were fond of their kind. "Hm?" he cocked his head aside, confusion running wild upon his features. "You don't grow up in a pact?" he wondered. For all he knew, zenkos usually hang around the shrine, mostly in groups, and he had simply assumed that it was the same for the rest of them. He had spent so many centuries in this world, yet it surprised him that there was something he has yet know of. "Oh, me? I've been here for.. half a month now, to be honest. Staying at home was a pain, so I thought I'd get some fresh air while I was out." and a pain it was indeed. It seems Crevan's partner had found his way to the fox's home after the argument Iris induced upon them. Angel had been living with Iris since, and everyday has been nothing but dreadful. He loathed that model, hated every inch of his being. Honestly, he had lost count of how many times he had bitten Angel for even uttering a word. Iris would throw him out, but he didn't want to risk having that bundle of trouble running back towards Crevan. His eyebrows furrowed somehow, though it was only short-lived. "Well.." he brushed his thoughts aside, focusing once again on the woman before him. "How are you liking the city so far? It's quite pleasant, isn't it? Not as busy as the big cities out there."▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Emi would glance at him and blush a little at his comment about the beauty part of her name fitting her before she nodded her head. "Yes I can see that. Your eyes are very... hypnotizing." She wasn't sure if that was exactly the right word, but it was the only one she could think of at the moment.
The young woman would then shake her head a bit. "No. It was just my mother and father. My mother spoke of a family of sorts, but I was told that they all parted ways... She never mentioned what happened though." She said with a slight shrug. Emi was probably the furthest thing from a 'traditional' fox as she could be. Probably due to the fact that she was co-raised by a human father. "I see." She would say softly. She liked her new home, but she did miss her village back in Japan a bit.
Without realizing it, she had started messing with the necklace that she wore, which was just a thin chain with her husband's wedding ring on it. "Huh?" She would say softly, her ears flickering forward a bit before she let go of her necklace, letting it fall under her sweater again. "I am enjoying this city a lot. It's very lovely." She said, casting a glance around before she nibbled at her muffin again. "Oh yes. Much better than the city." She said, instinctively rubbing her hip a bit. "My first experience in the modern human world wasn't a great one though." She would say, shaking her head a bit then sipping at her drink.

 Dylan Chase Dylan made his way into the Moonbucks Cafe. He had agreed to meet up with Savannah around this time and he did not want to keep her waiting at all so he wanted to get there earlier than she did. He sat down on a table and waited for her before he would order anything. The day before had been great, they both went to see a movie and then spent the rest of the time walking around and getting to know eachother better and he had to say he enjoyed her company and was lucky enough to literally right next to her.

Savannah shivered a little bit as she stepped into the cafe. After closing her umbrella, she would glance around and then smile as she saw Dylan. "Dylan!" She would giggle before going over to where he was sitting down and sitting next to him. Looking across the table at him, she would smile. "Have you ordered yet?" She asked with a curious head tilt. She has had a lot of fun with him on their date yesterday and was glad that he asked her to spend time with him again. He was such a nice person and she was glad she met him. She liked being around him a lot and she knew that Cujo just absolutely adored him.

Dylan Chase Dylan looked around before hearing his name being called. He turned his eyes to Savannah and a warm smile formed on his lips at the sight of her. Once she sat down next to him he smiled more and shook his head at her question. "No. I was waiting for you" He said with a chuckle before remembering something. "Oh. I have something for you." He said before pulling out a small box. At first the box was just full of parts but he placed his hand over it and all the pieces began coming together to form a dog figure. The figure resembled Cujo. Once ot was together he placed it infront of her. "I made a little Cujo bot." He said to her with a chuckle.

Savannah looked at Dylan before she blushed a little bit. "Oh? You waited for me? How sweet of you." She giggled softly as she gave him a sweet smile. He really was a sweet guy. Staring at him, she would then c**k her head to the side a little bit. "Huh?" She said softly before she looked confused as he showed the the box of what seemed to be a bunch of random metal parts. "It's..." She said softly before her eyes widened as she watched the metal pieces form into a robot Cujo. "Whoa!" She exclaimed in amazement. "It's so cute!"

Dylan Chase Dylan gave her a warm smile before nodding. "Why ofcourse. Wouldn't be the same without you." He said to her. When she reacted to the robot Cujo he chuckled as he handed it to her, the robot figure was the size of his hand. "Im glad you like it." He said with a small chuckled as his green eyes look at her with a warm smile on his lips. One could tell he was happy with her around. After a few minutes a waitress cane around to take their orders and Dylan looked at Savannah. "What would you like?" He asked as he was gonna order for the both of them

Savannah looked at Dylan and blushed a little bit before her smile grew. "I love it." She giggled softly. After a few minuets, she would tilt her head a little bit before glancing over the menu. "Um. I think I'll take the Mocha and two double chocolate brownies." She said softly, smiling up at the waitress before she waited for Dylan to order his food. "So what are your plans for the rest of the day?" She would ask him softly, hoping that whatever he hand planned would include her as she liked spending time with him, if not she would probably just go home and watch a movie with Cujo.

Dylan Chase Dylan felt his cheeks warm up a bit once she said she loved it. He was happy she enjoyed it and didn't find it weird or anything like that. Once she ordered what she wanted he then proceeded to order his. "I would like some hot chocolate and some double dhocolate brownies aswell." He said before the waitress wrote their orders and nodded as she went to hand the orders in. When she asked about his plans he thought about it. "Well it seems to be a rainy day. The kind of day to stay indoors and watch movies all day. I was thinking if you have no plans we could do that." He said with a soft smile.

Savannah glanced over at Dylan and tilted her head to the side a little bit before smiling as he said they could sit in and watch movies all day. "Oh~ That sounds like a really cool idea!" She said happily. "Maybe we could even head over to the grocery store and buy some popcorn and candy." She suggested, looking over at him. She had a large collection of Disney movies they could watch or if he had any movies he wanted to watch. She felt a bit shy about hanging out with him all day, but at the same time she was happy about it.

Dylan Chase Dylan gave her a warm smile and nodded when she complimented his idea. When she suggested they go to the grocery store to get popcorm and candy he smiled. "Good thinking." He said to her before the waitress came back with their orders placing them infront of them. He thanked the waitress before stealing one of Savannah's brownies.

Savannah looked at Dylan then smiled a bit before nodding in agreement. "I have quite a few movies at my home most of them are Disney movies, but I also have all the marvel movies and... well, really I've lost track." She giggled before pouting as he stole one of her brownies. "Hey!" She giggled before she picked up her fork and quickly took a chunk of his brownie and quickly ate it, sticking her tongue out at him after she had swallowed the food.

Dylan Chase Dylan listened to her as she talked about her movies and chuckles "Well we have a whole day so we can pick more than one." He said with a chuckle. He ate her brownie before noticing her eat some of his too. He laughed softly "Hey!" He said as she stuck her tounge out while chuckling softly, his eyes looking into hers. He found her to be quite cute.
