How utterly humiliating this whole situation was for Cae. If only this damn potion helped a bit more with the recovery process, maybe she wouldn't have to be degraded like this, being fed as if she were a baby bird.

The grunnies were still in the basement. Of course something had to be done about them. They were awfully cute, but after the bite, Cae felt she owed them no favors. Killing was too kind a fate for the bastards.
"Great. Get rid of them and leave me alone." The sooner Xashowd was gone, and the sooner Charming got done feeding her, the sooner she could sleep.

Ouch. She sounds like Daenes. Xashowd thought. "Very well then." Xashowd walked away. Having gotten the permission he was looking for, Xashowd decided to help the girl he spoke to earlier find the missing Grunny. The ones in the Basement would be down there for a while, but the one in here was a more immediate threat. Xashowd focused on the air within in the room, scanning it for any vibrations that had a Grunny-like shape to them. After a few minutes, he found a shape under a cabinet that matched what he was looking for. Xashowd compressed numerous air molecules around it, especially around the Mouth, so that it couldn't move, then moved it out from under the cabinet and willed it over to him. With the Grunny contained, though it made numerous attempts to move based on the muscles twitching under its fur, Xashowd held it up. "Got it. Anything in particular I should do with it? It's bound by my Wind Magic, so it won't be biting anyone." That didn't stop the Grunny from glaring menacingly at him, but it couldn't move any other part of its body.
"Morning, Lady Luck." Minty called from where she was checking under a couch, "We had a bit of a scuffle, but it's over now, Prince has a new cell mate, although hopefully not for long. Batty made a human cure! Side effect: Cat ears. Although there's a grunny loose in here somewhere, watch your toes. I think that about covers it...oh! Cae isn't a grombie anymore either! Although you probably guessed that with the cat ears..."

"Really? I think I'm going to sleep for a week after this is over." Minty laughed. The new arrival caught her attention, holding up the offending white grunny, "Looks like the crisis is averted for now. I suppose we could just...put it down? I'm not usually for the mass eradication of a species, but I think it's safe to say these grunnies are invasive. Now that we have a cure, maybe we should start working on clearing out the guild of the pests?"

The cabinet door opens again and in a bored manner Batty begins packing up all the lil chocolates it's made into numerous pouches.
"Least least they'll never be being spoiling chu~.."
Rest's it's chin on the floor not coming out of the room it was in, batting it's ears. Setting out a pouch for each of them with the candies in it, be be passed around to the infected and possible future infected.. yay for magical foods never spoiling.

"That's a good idea too, you should always play with a full deck." Minty laughed again, "I know some basic electrical stuff. I'm better with dwarvin circuits, but I think I can bridge the gap. Too bad Arron disappeared. He could probably snap his fingers and fix this. We could check the breakers? Probably best if we go out at least in pairs."
Xashowd looked over at the man who called him a Wind Child. That was the second time he'd been called that...was this the person the man from a few night ago was looking for. "Thanks. Would your name be...Charming, by any chance? I met a man a few nights ago who was looking for you...I think. He mentioned the West Wind..." Xashowd then looked at the girl who he spoke to before. "Sounds like a plan to me." Xashowd replied. Xashowd concentrated on the Air he'd used to bind the Grunny, then in one swift motion compressed all of it around the neck area, shattering the internal parts and killing it instantly. With its mouth no longer bound, it made a single squeak before going limp. "I'll dispose of this elsewhere...See you guys later." With that done, Xashowd wind warped back to his Closet and headed outside, and from there, to the Basement.
It was time for some mass extermination.

Charming smiled and tucked a blanket around his baby vulture, before standing and helping Batty distribute the candies.
"Good job, miss."
Charming rubbed Batty's ears, she looks like she liked a good ear rub.
"Splitting into groups and dealing with the remaining grunnies seems like a good idea, for those who volunteer. I'm sure some of us would rather stay in the safe house?"
