Fídi squawked a bit being loose, she was hungry, she hissed and rolled over looking for the nearest moving pae or food.. or were they the same things! She didn't care, she slithered over to the nearest moving creature, it happened to be one of her blue sister-siblings... and went to take a chomp down on the other naga infant's tail

 Anali blinked at her surroundings, once out of her egg shell, her little eyes taking in the sights and the sounds. Her little fingers opened and closed a few times as she slithered around the crazy purple ladies feet before spotting something that looked delicious not to far off. Wriggling her little snake backside, she set off for it, fangs sharp and unused, ready to pierce any fleshy substance.... before a sharp pain shot up her backside. Turning around with a screeching hiss and spitting, she eyed one of her siblings with her fangs sunk into Anali's tail. Spitting more, she thrust her little nubby arms out to shove her sister off, hissing more and making a tiny baby lunge to strike her back. She was not food!

She didn't care for being pushed, she was hungry! She left her fangs sunk into the food, her sister but shoved back at the tiny hands that were lunging at her. Oh she too had fight in her and she was going to fight until she got her belly filled!

Fortissimo's head snapped behind her when she felt their hands begin to slip. She opened her mouth to say something to him when another jarring shove separated them. She wanted to stop in her steps in order to reach for him again, but he seemed distracted. There was something about their situation that was wanting to pull him away from her- she could read it all in his eyes as they held each other's gaze.
Though she tried to stay in place and watch as he helped the other Pae best he could, the crowd was carrying her away. She growled at a few, trying to shove them aside to keep her eyes on him. As she bobbed up and down in the crowd she felt a warmth spread through her chest. He wasn't acting daring or really trying to do anything super heroic, but he was certainly attempting. He was smart enough to realize there wasn't anything else he could do, but help those around him. He was moving Pae along and trying to bring others to their senses. That was certainly enough to impress her deeply.
 She had just decided that it would be best for her to move outside rather than congest the area when something hit her leg. She glanced down and found a half hatched egg there. It was a swirl of purple, grey and black that was rather stunning to look at, but filled her with dread. She looked up to see Eris had just tossed the egg and was reaching for another. She lifted her hoof to quickly turn to leave when the egg wiggled viciously and a small blob flung itself out of the egg. Mama gave off a a sharp yelp and took a step back, managing to step on someone. The area around the baby was instantly cleared as Pae ran from the little thing.The little Naga's purple eyes glanced around at its surroundings. It did not understand what was happening around it, nor did it really care. At this point it was only paying attention to the rapid growling in its stomach. Her eyes landed on a blue figure who was stopped frozen. She slithered her way over, curling her lips back to reveal her sharp fangs. Her swaying motion paused when she neared the faun. She flicked her tongue in and out at her, trying to intimidate this being while she analyzed the being. This was not food. She frowned heavily at her situation.Fortissimo was frozen solid, from fear or curiosity she wasn't sure at the moment. She watched the nasty little thing make its way towards her before stopping its advance. It kinda sat there flicking its tongue at her as though it was confused. That was fine with Mama Blues because this meant a get away from the scaly thing. She slowly inched her way back, colliding into others, before quickly turning around and rushing outside. Since things weren't so densely packed outside she was able to stop a few paces away from the doors in order to wait for her date. She had to dodge and weave through people in order to keep her standing ground, but that wasn't what was bothering her. It was the fact that he hadn't shown up yet. Was he ok? Had he ditched her?
Not a lot of time had passed, but it was enough for Mama Blues to wonder if she should give up hope and go home. It wouldn't be the first time this had happened to her. Plus, neither of them had plans to carry on with what was happening between them this evening did they? But even through this chaos she was still burning. There was still this ache that was eating away at her body, this need. He didn't help the fact when he decided to go and play hero. This change of attitude in him was even more alluring than anything he had done this evening. She had seen a side of him- perhaps the real side of him- and she had wanted it more than any part.

Bree was thankful the Prince was more interested in getting out of there then making their flight comfortable. She didn't dare tighten her grasp on him even as her body was being jerked this way and that in his arms from the sudden stops there were having to make. She lifted her head in time to catch glances of small snake like Pae slithering around on the floor. She shivered harshly in his arms feeling sick to her stomach at the sight of them. Though moments before she had been feeling bad for Eris, she certainly wasn't enjoying the sight of these little ones. There was certainly something dark radiating from them that she could feel. If they didn't do something about them...
Her thoughts were her cut off when her feet touched the ground. It took her a moment to let go of his neck, not completely trusting her legs just yet. She was feeling a bit shaky from everything that was going on, but knew they didn't have very long to pause. Though they didn't have long she knew she needed to take this moment to say what was on her heart. Before they could take off she touched his arm to grab his attention. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, “Thank you, Prince.” she said her voice a bit husky, clearing her throat shyly, “I'm sorry, I am just so overwhelmed by how kind you have been through all of this. So much has gone wrong, but you continue to remain level headed and strong through it all. Had you not, I really would have been a mess.” she gave a curt laugh at her own honesty and shrugged. Guess there was no point in hiding anything now. They had been through a lot together that evening and he deserved to hear how much she admired how he handled himself.
She slowly flapped her translucent wings to meet him in the air, ready to get out of this place. It certainly wasn't the party she had thought it would be. She frowned at herself at that thought, and here she had gone through the trouble of convincing him to go and have him a part of her gift. She looked at him sadly again, “I cannot apologize to you enough about everything I have put you through tonight.” her heart squeezed at the thought of their accidental marriage. That had been blown over with games and the fright that night. She didn't say a word about it, and instead turned her back to the party. They'd get it figured out, but for now she was done with this place. She was done with the emotional ups and downs, the fear, the uncertainty, and certainly the Nagas. All she wanted to do was curl up and sleep somewhere.
She stifled a yawn, pressing the back of her hand to her mouth, “May we leave now?” she sighed. “This day just needs to end...”

Xanthous had been so wrapped up now with grabbing paeple as he moved - inched, rather - closer to the doors, that he had yet to bother himself with looking at whatever else was happening behind him.
A soft and rather small touch to his ankle brought his thoughts to the floor though. He immediately thought someone had fallen and swiftly scooped up the creature.... er... baby?
He blinked. He was definitely holding a baby.... and it... well, it wasn't happy...The little Naga girl had been set upon the floor and left to her own devices. This was all well and good for her. She was hungry. Being held was not something she wanted at the moment. She wanted food. She wanted something to bite down on and fulfill her grumby tumbly.
Her aqua eyes immediately caught sight of a bright yellow thing closeby. It moved. Moving meant prey, right? Moving meant food?! She grinned, teeth bared in delight as she quickly managed to slither towards it. She licked her lips in anticipation, placing a tiny hand on it's foot as she reared her head back to take a good bite of it's ankle.
But suddenly, she was high up?! What the hell!!?! She squirmed, pausing only briefly to take note on just what had happened to get her so high up. .... Oh... HAYLL NAH! The food had her and was holding her up! The food had picked her up! This was not allowed in the LEAST!
She squirmed and hissed, teeth bared in a vicious baby snarl. If infantile looks could kill, this one definitely would... if she were able to actually land a bite...This... This was DEFINITELY not good! Nervous for his own life, he turned and gently set the babe down on the ground - after facing her away, of course - then attempted to turn tail and run! The pathway to the doors was slimming. Most of the crowd had managed to leave and disperse to safety. It was merely seconds now before--... OW!!The little Angwi Naga girl glared, falling still momentarily as she was set down gently. Well, at least this food had manners... She snarled though and rolled back around, chasing after her fleeing food with boiling determination. She almost had it. Then it had her then pushed her away. Now it was fleeing?! HA!! Food shouldn't run so tantalizingly away from her!
With her teeth ready for something wholesome and delicious, she bared them again and lunged at the ankles once more. This time, she wouldn't take a second to aim, she'd just lunge and hope for the best. This thing wasn't going to get away this time!! Teeth sank into flesh, the sharp needle points immediately drawing blood on Xanthous' calf. However, blood was apparently not as appetizing in the moment as she would have hoped.
Dissatisfied, she let go and sneered up at her almost-food before turning away and looking around. Spotting one of her siblings in the cake - seeming to enjoy it's filling flavors - she opted to aim for that and began slithering away.Damn, they had some sharp little teeth!!
For a moment, Xanthous was frozen in place. He couldn't move. A part of him wanted to kick the Naga child away, but an even larger part of him recognized this as a baby and he didn't particularly find punting babies as a fun-filled sport...
He let out a sigh of relief as the baby let go and slithered off to eat something else, but his calf radiated in pain from such a tiny bite. He grimaced and shook his head, returning to the task at hand. Get. Outside. Now!
He grabbed the arms of a few remaining stragglers and shoved them through the doors in front of him before he stepped outside himself. Frantically, his eyes scanned the immediate area, looking for that blue-bodied goddess he decided was his for the night and let out a sigh of relief upon seeing her close by. He quickly moved to her side and touched her arm, further ignoring the pain in his leg for a moment. The adrenaline was helping in those efforts for the time being.
"C'mon." he started, then proceeded to scoop her up into his arms. He carried her as if she were his new bride. "Looks like I'm gonna give you a ride earlier than planned. Hang on tight, ok?"
He offered a bit of a smile and managed a wink, but there was no shame in him being scared. None at all. He wanted out of there. And he wanted to make sure that she did the same. Especially if he managed to get her out unscathed. He flared his wings and beat them hard, lifting them up and off the ground. He was not accustomed to carrying another individual, but he'd manage.

Hissing, Anali slapped at her sister until she could free her tail and wriggled it away from the purple fiendish sibling. Her tail. Was not. Food. Spitting, she wriggled her arms in some kind of talk warning. Because of this, she had now lost sight of who she was going for. But she did see cake instead....
Now ignoring her sister completely, because she still wasn't food, she hissed and began to slither her way on over to the fallen mound of mush her other siblings were currently gorging themselves on.

[  The world was so bright and noisy and...LOOK AT THAT! The hungry child slithered her way to the decimated cake and dived right in. She crammed handfuls of the stuff into her mouth in sugary overload, smearing icing all over her cheeks in the process. It was so GOOD! Being born was amazing. The rose eyed femme finally pulled her face away with her belly full of delicious cake. Then...the sugar hit. "EEEEEE!" She squealed in deafening delight before pulling herself onto a fallen chair to survey the area. One...two...three...JUMP! Right onto a blue brother. "EEEEEEE!" Pay attention to ME! The baby would have screamed if she could talk.EvilSilverDragon I find it fitting to have you join into my sugar rush pae XD
