Prometheus examined the immortals around him, but one stuck out in particular, one of the pack leaders. "Sibyl...." He said. He was getting tired of waiting and needed a medic or doctor or whatever. The silver was spreading and killing him. Prometheus winced from the pain as he tried to reach Sibyl. "Sibyl......"

Vivian didnt say anything but turned around to face a large candle that had been melted half way. Staring into the flame she whispered "Im tired of fighting." more to herslef than anyone then she looked at the Vampire fully in the face for the first time. "Unless you attack me I have no reason to fight right now, plus in case you have not noticed the condition I am in? it would have been a poor desicion anyways to have accted irasionally." Vivian pretty much resembled that of a used up fight dog, her pale skin was dirty and had a cutt on her left cheek crusted over with dried blood her white blond hair was matted and her clothes torn to rags. She nodded at what she quickly processed as one of her pack members.
Vivian stood up and walked to the Vampire on the bench, she stood in front of him and bemt down to were she was eye level with him putting her hand on his cheek. His skin was hard and cold as marble, putting her face close to his she asked "Tell me, what is it that you prefer to be called then? and what vampire does not have a taste for lycan blood hm?" she smiled thoughtfully and looked him straight in the eyes, her amber brown eyes looking through his as if she would discover something.

"I noticed that when I moved here a few months back. I was greeted by some psycho vampire that decided to attack me out of the blue for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Funnily enough, he went off and ended up falling in love with a lycan and then he died soon after. I wonder what made him die, though. Was it the fact that she drove him to the brink and he couldn't handle it or did someone else kill him?" She never had figured out the story behind Markus but she supposed that some things simply remained mysteries forever. Who knew, though, she hadn't really made an effort to figure out what'd happened to him. They hadn't been particularly close but he was one of few vampires that'd attacked her and had lived to tell the tale afterwards.
"No use," Sibyl commented with a nonchalant shrug, "denying or trying to hide the fact that you are indeed a vampire. We don't choose what we are, no one chooses if they are born into a rich or poor family or whether they're a demon or lycan. My advice to you is get used to it since as far as I know, being a vampire is a permanent thing so. That and what else am I supposed to call you? Blood sucker? I don't exactly have a name to call you by and you just assumed I was a lycan, which was correct. But you don't have a name to call me by either so you'd most likely call me lycan instead of my real name." She felt no need to apologize for calling him something that he actually was, if he couldn't handle the truth then that was his problem.
She then turned around when she heard an unfamiliar voice calling her name and behind that voice was very apparent pain from something. It seemed to be pleading her to help just by the tone of it and how weak it was beginning to sound and how much it seemed to be struggling. She walked down the corridor to find Prometheus pretty much collapsed on the floor and she growled at the sight of him. She would have asked who had done this to him but she didn't want him to waste his strength or waste time asking such a question. She immediately began to heal his wounds, able to heal others quite efficiently though she healed at a fairly slow rate sometimes. Sibyl grabbed something out of her bag, it was a liquid of sorts and she bent down beside Prometheus and asked him to drink it. "Here, take this please. It'll break down the silver and keep you from dying but you're going to need to get a lot of rest and wait out your body's natural function of flushing this stuff out. I can only heal you so much."

Jack nodded towards Vivian when she gave her reasoning as to why she didn't attack. It was a fair and understandable one, given how only the foolish really rushed into a battle when he couldn't. Then again, he was foolish enough to do so. He then turned his head towards Sibyl and gave her another odd look.
"The fact you didn't know my name was fair enough reason. As for what I would have called you, I would have called you 'miss' or 'ma'am.' I do believe in trying to be respectful unless the person's a total SOB."
He chuckled quietly as he turned his head towards Vivian. He soon found her in front of him, kneeling. When she put his hand to his face, he suddenly felt a surge of warmth. He stared at her nervously. Staring her in the eyes and the way she stared at him, she couldn't help but start to feel the way he did. As far as he knew, he was probably blushing.
"Jack," he said, trying to force his name out. "And uh... regarding the... the blood-sucking... I rather not get in touch with the vampire side of me. Things get rather... rather ugly."

Sibyl was, by now, accustomed to odd sideways glances given to her by others that thought she was extremely queer or something else likely related to being out of the ordinary. It didn't bother her, really, provided that they did not stare at her for long periods of time and it didn't even bother her, it bothered her instincts, something separate from her. People didn't seem to understand or realize that about Sibyl, though, she was basically two separate beings morphed into one as most lycans were. Her instincts were just much more prominent since she was born a wolf and had the heart of a wolf as opposed to a human. She was much more primal than most lycans but it was because she'd never been fully human and she never would be as much as someone maybe wished it. Sibyl, though, didn't waste her time wishing she was something else, she was healthy and alive and that was good enough for her.
The fact that they were talking so openly about what they were in a public place, though, Sibyl decided that she was going to ask them to discuss such matters elsewhere since the last thing they needed was attention. It was quite unfortunate that she had to treat Prometheus on the spot like this and thank Mother Earth that he hadn't been spotted by anyone else in this place or else there would be medics swarming him and they'd find out his secret. With that thought, Sibyl decided to have the four of them disband so as not to draw attention to themselves. "My apologies Jack but would you both mind not discussing what you are out in the public eye and ear? If you are caught then you're putting more than yourselves at risk. Please take your conversation to a more secure area and I do beg my leave, I have to get this lycan out of here before someone sees his gunshot wounds."
With all being said, Sibyl trusted that the two would heed her suggestion and move to another place where people couldn't eavesdrop on them or other such things. She then carefully heaved Prometheus over her shoulder with absolutely no effort at all and began to carry the injured lycan toward her apartment where she could better tend to him and where no nosy humans would be lurking about waiting to expose them. The last thing they needed was a medic on the scene to find out he had weird healing properties that no human possessed so they would assume he was some form of super human and they'd conduct countless studies on him to try and replicate his genes. However, they'd fail since he was another race entirely and they'd figure that out soon enough and come looking for the rest of his kind. Human nature was often destructive that way, their thirst for knowledge was just as deadly as a vampire's thirst for blood if not more so.

Vivian nodded at her pack member she really could not recall this one, then again she really could not recall anyone from New York anymore. She had a slight impulse to rebell against her wishes since she had been used to only her giving orders, but out of respect and curtesy Vivian nodded then looked back into the face of her new found entertainment.
Vivian laughed lightly "We all have a ugly side now dont we? Some just able to control it better than others." she noticed his stammering but kept her hand on his face. Vivian considered that there was no audience, she kissed Jack lightly before she stood up and walked down the aisle towards the door. "I didnt know that vampires could blush." "It was lovley meeting you Jack."

Jack basically sat in the seat dumbfounded. He was surprised that she kissed him. Apparently being the nice guy paid off finally. A small smile grew on his face as he laughed quietly. He slowly got back to his feet and headed towards the exit. He hadn't felt this good in a while. As he walked off though, he started to realize something.
I didn't get her name.
He sighed quietly. He knew he didn't have now, but he knew he'd see her again soon. He knew what she was and what she looked like... for now that would be enough.

Mephlius entered the cathedral, with Amnity following close behind. He walked up to the choir director, who was at the time, directing their practice. Once they had ended their song, Mephlius released Amnity's hand, and walked up to the man. "Excuse me... Can you direct me to the priest?" "Of course. He's in his office, towards the back of the building." The aged man replied, as he pointed towards a doorway. Mephlius looked where was pointed, then back at the director. "Thank you, sir." He turned to Amnity. "You coming with me, or do you just want to relax here?" /_____________________________________.:]

Amnity let go of Mephlius' hands as she stepped up the marble floors of the cathedral. She closed her eyes and humbly bowed her head before the alter and before God's home. An overwhelming feeling always filled her when she enters a church. "I'll just...Relax here." She walked over to a pew, taking a bible for she had let Kuro borrow hers. "I'm just going to read...Alright?" The hunter grinned, then took a seat.

Mephlius nodded at her, and walked onward to the back offices. He returned about ten minutes later, smiling. He walked up to Amnity, and smiled. "Alright, then. It's been scheduled." /_____________________________________.:]

While Mephlius was away, Amnity was reading the Bible out loud. She immediately turned to 2 Corinthians 7:10-12, and she trained herself to know where exactly the page was too. "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. So even though I wrote to you, it was not on account of the one who did the wrong or of the injured party, but rather that before God you could see for yourselves how devoted to us you are." Amnity barely looked up to Mephlius, her nose stuck in the book. "Huh?...Really?...Cool...." She wasn't even really listening either. "...Scheduled for what again?"

"By all this, we are encouraged." Mephlius finished her passage. "To answer your question... Father MacCarthy just agreed to do the wedding ceremony." /_____________________________________.:]

Amnity finally looked up to him and smiled. "Great!...Though I do feel guilty." She looked back down at the bible, frowning a bit. "I haven't been attending the church on a frequent basis since I came to New York, and it pains me as every Sunday passes and I am not here. I'll have to pay Father MacCarthy back for his kindness and start coming to the church services." She closed the bible and set it down on her lap, then leaned her head back to stare at the beautiful mosaic paintings up above. "To think...Of all the sins I've committed. Murder, wrath, violence, God chose to bless me." Amnity wasn't really speaking to Mephlius, or anyone in particular, for that matter. "With everything I need....A loving grandfather, a pretty good living." She sat up a bit, then looked over to Mephlius with a smile. "A wonderful man who loves me, though I'm the last person in the world he deserves."

Mephlius smiled. "Well, you're right about one thing... I really don't deserve anything close to you. Not after the things I've done." He thought for a moment, then continued. "You know... I don't really deserve anyone at this point. I should probably have died lonely, in an obscure hunting accident." He looked at Amnity again. "Thank God that neither of those will happen." /_____________________________________.:]
