"Well I suppose it make sense that you like the snow after all you have a 10 pound fur coat on at all times I guess wolves and summer don't mix well and the steak make sense to. Me on the other hand I love summer it's when I get my best shots of nature and I don't have to worry about the ice and snow making me sick my favorite food is well it's a tie between strawberries and Chinese/ Thai mostly the noodles though, I love the classic children's movies like All dogs go to heaven and Land before time and they always make me cry but I do like the new stuff too just old movies earn a special place in my heart. You turn."

"Old movies are good. Especially war movies. Action movies are getting quite impression don't you think. I love to watch those in theaters. I find stargazing calming. When I need to think or clear my head there's this great place farther up into the mountains that had a great view of the stars. I might take you there one day. You can look at the sky and feel as though your problems are tiny and unimportant. Helps you get a better perspective." He crossed his arms behind his head, eyes a bit unfocused.

"The newer action movies are intense and really are becoming impressive, I like going to see an action movie with a lot of comedy mixed in at the theaters but I like seeing almost all movies at the theater the only exception is horror films because I get to scared and the gore doesn't help either. I like stargazing to but I can never find any constellations no matter no matter how hard I try, but I would still like to see your stargazing place even though I don't know how you can get us there seeing as I'm not a very good climber compared to you scaling walls with one arm." Lark said yawning tired but she was happy that she was able to talk about normal everyday things with Devon instead of the usual werewolf topics not that she didn't like it but she needed a slight break, Lark yawn again while waiting for Devon to reply

Devon shrugged. "Being what I am has it's perks." he said with a grin. "I don't know what else I can tell you. If I could, I think it could wait til tomorrow." he said leaning forward to rest his arms on her bed. "Sleep is the best healer, I hear. And I want my love to be healthy and strong again." he said kindly.

"That is also true about laughing." Lark said yawning and leaning back on her pillows missing her own bed at Devon's house. "and I want my wolf to be able to take down all the moose he can without getting beat up again." Lark said chuckling before closing her eyes.

Devon rolled his eyes. "I suppose." He moved to kiss her softly. "Sleep well."
It was morning when Devon arrived at the hospital. It was finally the day Lark would be discharged from the place. He was glad to have her back with him. It was a pain to have to visit and the place reeked to him. He entered her room and smiled. "You ready to go?"

Lark kissed back before going right to sleep. When she heard the sound of Devon's voice Lark gave him a big smile happy to be rid of the machines that had help her breathe and made sure she didn't have a heart attack while they were giving her treatment. She was dressed in a cashmere sweater and faded jeans with some boots that had come from both Sheryl and Bo as a get well present. She also packed away all they gifts she had got from other pack members everything from card and sweets to stuffed animals. "Yes I am. I miss home like crazy." Lark told him going to stand for the first time since that night

"Good. Cause the car is idle, your paperwork is signed and your not allowed another second here." he joked. He took all her things, carrying them easily in his arms. "Mom fixed up your room as well."

"Oh, she didn't have to do that. She has already done so much." Lark said still smiling walking toward him on unsteady legs moving to follow him out excited to be leaving just as much as Devon is if not more

Even with his load, he managed to balance it all into one arm and reach out to steady Lark. He made a note to be extra gentle with her until she was back to normal. Her wound may have healed but anyone could see how weak she was. He hoped one day she could live with him normally and not be ill or injured all the time. "She wanted to. Plus, you deserve some attention while you get better." he said.

"No I don't. I mean after all you and your parents have done for me already I would only be selfish if I asked for more." Lark replied walking with him out the door even though she was leaning on him even though she was trying not to trying to prove she was strong for both their sakes. " I mean if it wasn't for them I'd be...gone and you would be all alone, living without me. "Lark said not knowing that if she had truly died Devon would have died too a short time later. She fingered the amulet that was still around her neck knowing that when she got home she'd have to give it back but she didn't want to because she got attached to it in the short time she had it.

Devon sighed. "And if you hadn't come along, I would have been lonely. But if I hadn't found you in the wood you never would have gone through any of this at all. We can go around in circles forever Lark." he said as they made it to the car. "So when you see it, just thank her gratefully. She wanted to." He said it gently but somewhat scowling. One day he would convince her not everything was her fault.

"Alright, Devon I'll thank her don't worry." Lark sighed defeated getting in the car with him on the passenger side putting on her seatbelt. "How's Bo doing?" she asked for the thousandth time since Len opened his big mouth since then every time she saw Devon it had become one of the first things she asks about and she knew Devon was becoming annoyed but she couldn't help it she was worried about her friend

Devon sighed. He understood but answering was getting annoying. The past few days he tried to avoid the answer by stating she would see for herself in just a few days. That wasn't enough. He understood why she asked. It was another thing they differed in. He'd ask every week or every few days. People don't heal over night. "She still limps a little but it good. You'll see her when we get there." he answered.

"Good I miss her." Lark said leaning her head on Devon's arm he dove final glad to be getting some air even if that air made her shiver in her little sweater it really had gotten cold since she was last outside and first snow wasn't far behind. "You know it's funny, I never had a welcome home party even a small one like the one your throwing for me never happened, I hardly know what to do or what to expect." Lark admitted shyly
