Eric followed quickly after Mina, holstering his guns along the way. He stopped behind her, taking a moment to figure out what was the hold up. "This is going to take awhile, isn't it?" He asked her, he wasn't certain if she rather flew or waddle it. Neither option would be a fun one for Mina it seemed to be. "How do you want us to get up there?"

"I'll fly." Mina said, gulping some. "I'll just, have to not look down." She gripped her hands some and bright red wings of fire shot out from her back. "I have this, remember." She smiled, the wings flapping. "just, don't look down." She looked up again and took a deep breath before jumping off the ground.

Eric smacked his forehead, he had forgotten Jill and Ecalena's series of upgrades. He whistled for the Skychaser, which was parked outside the inn. At his command it flew towards him, a nice touch those two added. He took the the skies and followed behind Mina, making sure her fears didn't get the best of her. "Just keep looking towards your destination, if you're focused on that, you should be fine, Mina."

"I am." Mina shouted, the wind rushing past them making it a bit hard to just talk. As she kept going she glanced back briefly to see how far they had gotten. she let out a small yelp and looked back forward, her flight wobbling some before she became stable again. "I-I looked down." She shouted, ashamed that she did.

"Focus!" He yelled to her. She just had to look down, didn't she? The child within her kicked about, not liking the sudden drop at all. Few minutes later and the finally reached solid land and a sleeping dragon, it was wingless, but it needed not wings to fly, magically letting the wind carry it's elongated body. "This thin was a pain to because in order to take it down, you had to cut it in half, then attack it's exposed cores once the appear on it's chests. The thing makes another one of itself and regenerates after you cut it, so double the trouble." He explained to Mina.

Mina landed and stumbled some, her belly still a bit big from last nights meal. "Well that's a bugger, think there's another way to kill it?" Mina asked, she'd rather not have to fight this thing in the air let alone two of it." Maybe like, cut it open like we're going to disect it."

"I don't know about that." Said Eric, he crossed his arm and stared at the Destroyer. "I'm just telling you how we used to deal with this things back on Uni. They were a hassle there, and i'm sure the same applies here unfortunately. If you want to, give it a shot while it's still 'asleep'." Said Eric, it wasn't asleep, just recharging it's batteries so to speak.

Mina pulled out her sword and nodded. "right." She said waddling over to the dragon. "so, where is it's core usually at?" She asked, turning back to Eric.

Eric began to scratch his head. "Well, I assume in the chest, like the leviathan. That's where it shows up when you cut these things in half." He said as an answer to her question. He could had sworn he mentioned that before, deja vu getting the better of his he'd suppose. The dragon shifted some from all their noise bothering it, it had not fully awoken just yet, but it would soon enough.

"well I just wan-" Mina shut up and looked to the dragon as it moved. 'now or never' She thought, readying her sword. She started at the dragons chest for a minute before quickly swinging her sword and slashing it open. She did a brief spin and readied her sword to stab the exposed core.

The dragon rose up quickly and roared in pain, it looked at Mina as it's attacker, it would have to do with what strength it had. Though it's weak point was exposed, it chose to fight rather than run away. It roared again, and severed the ground below them to split and fly into the air in what looked like to the villagers down below to be a green tornado. The dragon flew into the air, hovering in front of the two intimidatingly. "This, yeah this is bad." Said Eric, he was pretty much suspended in the air on one of many floating platforms. He called out to Mina to see if she was okay. "Hey, Mina! You alright? This thing shouldn't give us much problem now!"

Mina stabbed at the dragon but it had moved out of the way just before her sword could make contact with the sword. As the ground was split and floated into the air she yanked on her sword, trying to pull it from the ground. When she heard Eric call to her she looked around. "I'm ok." She shouted back. "just keep it off me, my swords stuck." She continued to jerk on it. "This thing is like solid rock so I'm going to be a second."

"Roger that." On cue, the dragon flew towards Mina, Eric staved it away with a few well placed bullets. He knew his bullets were no match for this, it took an entire unit of men with guns like his to sync in order to take down one of these. The dragon went on to pursue him next, Eric merely skipped around and continued to fire on it as it destroyed more and more of his footing. "This won't work, i'm barely flinching it..." That was when he remembered something. "Hey, that cannon you asked Eca to make, we could really use it's firepower right now!" He pulled off a capsule from his belt and tossed it over to Mina, in a puff of smoke and sparks appeared a cannon with a similar design to Eca's suitcase and inventory box devices.

Mina looked up and caught the box. "wh-what the? Where did this come from?" She asked, not knowing that Eca had given Eric the capsule for it. She quickly looked to her sword and grabbed it. She gave it one final tug and pulled it out. "lets hope this works." She said setting the device down and holding her sword over it. She lit her sword and lowered it into the barrel of the canon. She jumped as the device activated and started to suck her sword. Mina held on tight, keeping her sword from being sucked in, she could feel her own magic draining as the swords flames were sucked in. "h-hang on Eric." She shouted, the flame on her sword going out and Mina falling to her knees panting. With the magic drained the device stopped trying to eat Minas sword, allowing her to pull it out and shieth it. "G-get out of the way." She yelled before flipping the device and pressing the fire button. There was a bit of a delay, but just as the dragon came into line with the cannon an enormous fire ball erupted from the barrel.

Eric turned around to see the fireball hurling towards him. Good grief, Ecalena, he didn't expect the ammunition for it to be that big! He dove out of the way, it was a direct hit! The dragon was more than stunned, the core had shattered, in a last ditch attack, it swiped the air and sent it magically hurling towards Eric and out of the tornado. It was going to do the same to Mina, but lost consciousness long before then and fell out of the sky. It began to fall down to the villagers, who could clearly see it the impending doom. It exploded into a shimmer of crystals, a large gust of wind coming with it. With Nothing controlling the tornado, it stopped completely. With it, the rocks it held in the air like platforms fell back down to the world below. The two saved the village, but one of them was nowhere to be found.
