This time, she took more time with her bunshin, picturing herself in her mind. Every little detail, everything she knew about her personality, and all the things that she held dear to her. She didn't know if it was the effect of her imagination, but as she made the handseals, Sakura found herself with another clone, quite nicely made. She felt a small connection with the clone, and decided to try a little trick.

Turning to face her bunshin, she commanded...? the image in front of her to wave to her. It did so almost the second after she had thought it. It looked natural in every way, until the clone put her hand down and poofed away, due to the lack of chakra. Just a couple more practices and she looked like she'd get the hang of it pretty soon, it seemed.

So far, so good.... she thought to herself as Sakura repeated the same hand signs again for the jutsu. This was really challenging and fun. What would normally have taxed her young internal chakra system was now pretty easy going, and the feeling of this... power inside her that she could call up at any time excited her like nothing else. However, this time again her ankle gave a twinge of discomfort, and she gave up the attempt to grab a hold of her chakra in favor of gently getting back up in a more comfortable position and resting her leg.

'Really, it shouldn't be hurting this much.' she thought to herself as she rubbed the sore spot. It was just a scratch; nothing more. Ignoring the small pangs of discomfort, she headed for the academy, to where the supplies were, until she found what she was looking for; a white compression bandage and some salve. She couldn't find a normal bandage for some reason, so this one would have to do for now. Applying some of the clear jelly-like substance, she frowned when it hurt more than it should have. 'It's just me.' she thought to herself as she placed the bottle back where she had found it. Taking the silver clip in her mouth and quickly wrapping it around her ankle and securing it in place, Yuki finished off the work with a quick movement of her hands, and lightly secured it with the metal, snagging the end in place.

Now that she looked at it, it just looked like the bandages her otou-san used around his legs. Nothing too out-of-place. That was good. She couldn't have people staring at her any more than they normally did. Packing everything up, Sakura went back outside, with a last glance at the classroom, although she didn't go in. Some things were best left alone, without her obnoxiousness running around everywhere ruining other's teamwork, she thought as she hid a small smile under her flowing hair.

1 = Fumble. Automatic Failure (dun dun dun)

As she dispelled the previous clone with a now-familiar poof of smoke, she wondered if she could make a real clone that had form, and mass. If, perhaps, she put in just a little bit more chakra into the clone, than maybe it would work. If that was so, then she could surprise her opponents with this nifty trick and take advantage of their surprise. It was worth a try, and even if it didn't work, then she could always go researching. In fact, wasn't the Rokudaime famous for his Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu? So there had to be a way for it to work, she figured.

'Alright, just one try.' she told herself as she made the same handseals for the normal bunshin. After all, she didn't know that it actually mattered or influenced it. Pushing more chakra into the seals than before, she attempted to make a solid form of a bunshin, but what she resulted in was an explosion of sorts. The mirage, unable to hold the chakra in, exploded and collapsed in on itself, disappearing without a trace, along with the chakra.

'Well that was really successful.' she murmured to herself as the push of the chakra forced her a step backwards. For now, she'd stick to the normal bunshin. Maybe later she could go look it up in the Uchiha library. Heavens knew how many stolen 'acquired'... techniques had piled up over the ages. Maybe there was something there to help her.

Apparently, her creative/mischievous side hadn't given up on the experiment, so poof, went experiment number three as it burst into smoke with a bang. Just because she needed to finish this in time didn't mean she couldn't have some fun with it. After all, that was what learning was for, wasn't it? Yeah right, she snorted to herself as soon as the thought crossed her mind, but smiled anyway. Ninjutsu was so much fun for her, and even training sessions were enjoyable even by herself. It was definitely her choice of combat. Now she had an answer to give Yae, the medic-in-training, as to her question that she had been asked earlier that morning. Maybe genjutsu would be another choice. The whole theory mystified her, and she really wanted to know how to utilize it. And besides, she could get help from lots of people in her clan.

'I should finish up soon...' she thought to herself as her eyes glanced up at the sky. It wasn't that dark, since the sun was still up but she wanted to get finished so she could practice some other things before going home. Practicing tessenjutsu sounded like a great idea. Where to practice it though...?

Still unhappy at Shiro and Sakura, Pakku turned his back to them to work alone as Chisana healed. He was going to finish the clone jutsu and go home. Once he and Chisana had the Inuzuka jutsus under thier belt, no one would stand a chance against them. Opening the scroll they had been given to the next jutsu he began to read about the Clone jutsu. It was the most basic one they had, only able to fool an enemy, not attack them. It seemed fairly simple however, not even having any specific handseals, or a large number of them. It was however, very easy to accomplish, and he'd surely be able to perform it with a little practice.

Wiggling his nose, Sai brought a hand hard against his face, pulling on his skin roughly as he fought the urge to sneeze... the urge won and sent the young boy into a ramshackle of sneezes. Finally stopping, nose runny and eyes slightly blurred with tears, the boy sighed and damned the pollen in the air and his forgetfulness for not taking his allergy medicine that morning.

It was the first day of classes and instead of happily skipping out of he academy and returning home, Sai sat on the grass at a distance staring admirably at the school house; arms wrapped around knees tightly held to his chest, he kept his chin propped against his legs and damned himself once again. Today was not his day, after rushing out of the house so quick without his medicine... or his breakfast, as his grumbling stomach now reminded him, the boy had not only taken the wrong path to the school - a path he was so certain was a shortcut - but gotten himself chased around the village by a pack of dogs, knocked over a concession stand and was forced into labor to pay back for the ruined goods, and some how found himself trapped in a bathroom stall for the better part of afternoon. By time he had returned to the school, classes were long dismissed and out of shame he now hung outside the building in disappointed longing.

Releasing his legs, he let his torso fall back to the lush grass bellow. Eyes resting on the cloudy sky above, Sai sighed to himself as he contemplated on what to do now. It had been such a long day but he had accomplished nothing but unwillingly playing hookie... Throwing an arm over his face, he gripped his shirt and took in a deep breath, he could feel his face becoming hot in disappointment and tears brimmed the edges of his eyes as his throat became tighter than what could be considered comfortable. He didn't like this, he didn't like how he spent his day. He wanted to become a ninja, to be strong but he was already ruining his chance to do it...

Minutes later, he finally calmed himself and was back to sitting cross-legged on the cool grass, his eyes closed as he relished the cool breeze that graced the area. He knew what he would do.. he would sneak into the academy and preform his own secret training! This way he could make up for what he missed and... if he was caught, he would just tell them what he was up to. Yeah! They would understand, and he might even get a private lesson with a super powerful sensei. That would be so awesome, a fantasy only a child could think of but a reality to them all the same.

Raising himself to his feet, Sai began to jog towards the school. It was only a brisk pace but before he could even get to the doors of the academy, he was already caught in a fit of wheezing and coughing that wracked his entire body violently. Dropping to a knee, he clutched at his chest with one hand, his eyes wide as he stared at the ground. Was he really still that tired from today's events? Tears began to fill his eyes again and he quickly shook his head as though to stop them but the pain in his burning lungs was too much and he quietly slumped to a more restful position on the ground, tears rolling down his cheeks in disappointment.

Slowly the gasping began to falter and his body stopped trembling. Wiping nose and eye with separate sleeves, Sai gingerly stood back up onto wobbling legs and stared up the height of the towering academy building. Lips splitting in to a childish grin, he turned away and began to jog once again.

Still scanning his eyes across the academy's side, the boy's cumbersome legs continued to pull him forward and forward and downward... without even realizing it Sai was sprawled out on the ground, gasping for air as the world around him span violently causing him to feeling queasy and a headache to pull horribly over his mind. Curling onto his side, wheezing and gasping for the precious breath that his lungs seemed to spurn, the boy tried to calm his body again. The cold dirt and cool spring breeze was of little comfort for his burning body, the pain in his lungs so constricting that it made his vision fade slightly.

It wouldn't be for another twenty minutes before the boy could breathe comfortably again, his body hunched over as he rested on his knees had bowed his head to the dirt with arms carefully wrapped the back of his neck. He had long since removed his sweat soaked shirt, his moist back shivering with each breath of air the world decided to let out on him. With a quivering sigh, he leaned back to sit upright, a dirty hand coming to wipe the dirt from his forehead and face in vain attempt and succeeded only by smearing it more across his sweat laden face.
