Like the ancient magic
I saw in my dreams when I was young
I want to see you,
smiling with the power to destroy even the dark.  The Next Shinigami╔═.❀.═════════════════════════════════════╗ ╚══════════════════════════════════════.❀.═╝ ••• "Please don't do this in public again..." Shira muttered under her breath as she saw Atticus begin to lose it. She looked like she was going to hit him again but instead she wrapped her arms around him and lowered him into a hug. At the same time she tries to resonate with his soul in an attempt to calm down whatever madness was in him. "I care about you too, so stop acting like you are alone and stop being down on yourself. You have a lot of people that care about you whether you are Atticus, Kain, Despair, or some other being. Even if things are bad for you we will all be there to help." she explained quietly, hoping that this was helping in some way otherwise she wasn't sure about how she would get a madness driven Atticus to Charlotte. •••The courage from the flower that was plucked

✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘ Atticus would do nothing as Shira placed her arms around him and hugged him. While she did this, Atticus could feel her soul trying to resonate with his, in an attempt to control the madness. Hearing her words, Atticus looked towards her and laughed directly in her face. Suddenly, Atticus' arm would squeeze her tighter and tighter, almost as if he was fighting to repel the madness. ✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘

She was getting close to just hitting him but decided to just stand there for a bit longer to see if Atticus would be able to go back to normal. ••• The courage from the flower that was plucked

"Hey, Shira." he spoke, "Can you do me a favor?" Atticus loosened hos grip on the girl's waist and forced himself free from her embrace, "Kiss me." he stated as he suddenly looked at her, his eyes still deranged. ✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘

✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘ Hearing Shira's answer would make Atticus burst out into an uncontrollable laugh. His laugh would echo through the streets and draw the attention of a few passerby's. Stopping suddenly, Atticus took his arm and pinned Shira to the ground, "Perhaps it would be best if I didn't ask this time?" he stated before lowering his head and opening his mouth, in an attempt to, what it seemed to be, bite her on her shoulder, but as he did this, Atticus' soul would finally begin to resonate with Shira's. This would cause him to stop what he was doing and freeze in that position, to others it seemed like he was trying to force himself on Shira, so some of the men that were there would come over and punch Atticus square in the face. While shouting at him and making it seem far more bad than it was, thus making even more men show up. Together, the men would jump Atticus and literally beat him until they saw the blood pouring from his mouth. All the while, Atticus would be unable to do anything, but take the beating until that finished. Once the last man landed a kick to Atticus' stomach, they would all approach Shira and offer her assistance. "Are you alright, miss?"one asked. "We have already called the cops, so you won't have to worry about that guy ever again." another may would say, ✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘

She quickly got up on her own "I am fine." she told him "He wasn't my stalker or anything like that though, he is my partner. He isn't feeling well which is why he did that." she told the men, doing her best to explain it "Thank you for watching out for me but calling the cops isn't necessary though. I'll take care of him..." she said. She wasn't sure how to explain the situation anymore so she quickly went over to Atticus "Come on, we need to get you to Charlotte for your arm and your injuries." she said. ••• The courage from the flower that was plucked

As they finished the same man turned around and had a very questionable look on his face, "W-well, if that is the case, we will be leaving then. We'll tell the cops that it was just a misunderstanding." he said before all the man walked over towards her and Atticus, "Uh, we're sorry for beating up your boyfriend. If you want we can take him to the hospital." one suggested. While this happened, Atticus would open his eyes, which were no longer deranged but bloody and swollen, "I-I'm sorry." he told. Our home isn't too far from here. We know someone that can heal him there. Thanks again for your assistance." she told them, referring to Charlotte. She heard Atticus then and looked at him "It is fine, just keep calm for now while I get you to Charlotte's." she said as she managed to get him on her back and continued walking. ••• The courage from the flower that was plucked

Sighing the men all left, save for one, who would stay and apologize once more, "I'm sorry." he said before leaving as well. As the men all left and he was on Shira's back, Atticus would struggle to get down. "Don't" he stated. "I can walk on my own." he told her. Struggling to get to his feet, "I am not going to let you bare my burdens. I still have some pride in myself. If I were to let my meister do this, then I would truly be nothing." Atticus stated before finally standing up on his feet and slowly started to limp towards Charlotte's place. ✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘✘
