As Nero took off past me to the park, I had to dash after him to meet up with the two as I growled under my breath. Finally I caught up to where Shi'ita was and rub up against him in a catlike fashion while purring softly. I glance over at Tellat with a smile before looking to Shi'ita with concern. "Are you okay?" I gently rub my head against his shoulder.

Shi'ita looked up at Desta, but looked back to the ground, "Eventually... Maybe."

I make the best pouting face I can before lying beside Shi'ita and purring softly. "You don't want to go play with Tellat and them?" I say softly.

Shi'ita continued to stare at the ground, "I don't... it's not fun to be outside during the sunlight. It was only fine before ...on cloudy days, and then...Leila would always be with me, even when she picked on me. It was always fine then because the sun wasn't really showing and...I had someone special."

I set down the baskets and remove my pilfered garment from the lab as Nero and Tellat talk. I think I'd probably end up ripping it if I wore it for what I'm about to do. Once I remove and set the garment down, and I pounce on Tellat's back playfully, grabbing her around the torso and trying to take us both to the ground.

I smile at Desta arriving to Shi'ita, but lower my ears as she still doesn't even notice or acknowledge me...
"Only if I'm doing something crazy..." I mumble to myself, sighing. I slightly widen my eyes in surprise at Jasmine attacking Tellat, but then I chuckle. I start pulling out berries from the basket and lean forward to Shi'ita and Desta.
"Food anyone? Especially...especially a very unsettled bat?" I say with an apologetic smile to Shi'ita, looking nervously at Desta.
"And you, brawlers?" I say over my shoulder to Jasmine and Tellat.
"And Laci, Selphie, Zazigh! Get over here!" I say playfully with a grin.

Laci looks at Zazigh, "Should we go meet up with the others? We're not really doing anything other than standing here. And I'm sure you don't want to let your daughter out of sight for too long. That must have been horrible, when she disappeared. I can't even imagine."

Nero:
Tellat smiles as you get excited about getting to know her.
Jasmine:
As soon as you pounce on her, her eyes grow wide with excitement as you both hit the ground. She rolls over and grabs you, rolling so that she's on top of you.
"Ha!" she cries.
Nero:
"Ooh, sure!" Tellat says.
Jasmine:
Tellat loosens her grip on you when she looks at Nero upon his mention of food.
Laci:
"You don't know the half of it..." Zazigh mutters. "But yes, let us join them!"
He takes your hand loosely in his and leads you to the park, where you see Tellat and Jasmine roughhousing, Desta rubbing up on Shi'ita, and Nero offering the fruits to all of them.

"Oh, so you got a little more fight in you then I thought!" I say excitedly. Feeling her grip loosen, I take advantage and grab her, roll over another time so that I'm laying on top of her.
"But, how 'bout that food, eh?" I say playfully as I let go and dash over to the baskets, where I decide to lay down on my stomach and start searching through the fruits to find one of the chocolate strawberries.
"Tellat, come over here! I have to show you some of my favorite treats!"

Shi'ita looked up as he heard Nero mention food, and looked at the berries that he was holding, but at the moment didn't seem entirely enthused about eating.

Laci lets him lead her to the others. Once they arrive, she smiles a little, watching Jasmine, Tellat, and Nero. She puts a hand to her stomach, "Mmh.. Those strawberries look good. But there aren't that many of them. I think I'll let the others take what they want, and if there's any left, then maybe I'll have some." She says, but more to herself than to Zazigh not really even noticing she was speaking aloud.

"There's plenty!" I say, looking up to Laci. "I got sixteen of each! There's plenty to go around!"
I wait for Tellat to get to me before eating, however, seeing as I wanted to see her face when she ate her first piece of the sweet greatness that is a chocolate dipped strawberry.

Jasmine:
Tellat quickly comes over to you, walking on all fours, and sits like a normal wolf. She looks at the chocolate-dipped strawberry in your hand.
"That looks good..." she says, her mouth beginning to water.
Laci:
"I think it'll be fine," Zazigh says, patting your head. "Just indulge a bit. If you all do want to go to the No Man's Land with me, then it may be a long time before we can really indulge again."

Laci looks at him, somewhat lost in thought, "I don't know about the others, but I think I'll go with you. I can't go back to my camp, they won't recognize me and even if they did they wouldn't let me back. The man running the whole thing would probably think I ran out on everyone to avoid paying him. Who knows what he'd do." She nods at him, "You can count me in."

I hold the fruit gingerly by the top and move it into her mouth, waitning for her to bite down on it.
"Oh, they are! A field is a pretty nice place to eat these. It better at night though, since it's less noisy, and there's the relaxing sounds of night and the soft twinkling stars the light up the dark blue night sky..." I say in a somewhat dreamy tone.
"A warm fireplace also works, the flickering flame casting warm, dancing light in the room, hearing the soft crackling of the glowing embers... "
