'As you dance and laugh happily with your friends, you might notice a slight weight in your pocket that you didn't notice was there before. Curious... how did that seed get there?'(This is just an announcement that you may receive one or even a few Floresce Festival Seeds randomly in your inbox, as a promo to the summer minipet event! They will be given out randomly and without warning in games, and possibly without you even knowing about it! If you're specifically craving the shiny seeds, keep an eye on the blackjack post for schedule updates in the games thread -- that will likely be the only time I will announce that I'm giving them away~)

She was enjoying herself with Mot and well, all her friends, but... She couldn't help wanting to stay with Mac. Even if it was just a little longer.
As she was passed back to Mot, she gave Mac and Tess a grateful smile before giving the poor cowboil what she hoped was a comforting hug; he looked so frozen just now, something she had never associated with the boil... He looked even worse than when his hat was stolen, and it was all her fault. Well, indirectly his own fault for being too awesome and making her laugh that much, but still!
"You free to talk, Mot?" She tilted his hat up a little, bending down to make eye contact with him, her expression softening as she smiled sheepishly, "I promised to fill you in, didn't I?" And no, she didn't even think about how wrong that sounded, especially after all the kissing fiasco.
[I'll be back around 8pm your time. ;o; Or 7pm, if you don't mind me using my phone to type you a response. OTL]

Danny really couldn't figure it out. Had Claire left Roch or had Roch left Moure ... wait no that wasn't even how it went. She shook her head and decided to look past it. No need to dwell on things she didn't get in the least.
Uh oh! Red alert! Claire was walking off!! Had she said something that upset the girl? If anything, shouldn't she be happy they weren't dating? Or maybe she wanted them to date?
But she had said "Moure for me" right? That meant she liked him ... right? Ever the smooth criminal, Danny jerked forward and said, "WAIT! Does that mean you like him?" She pointed with her thumb at Moure. Hadn't she come with Roch though? Well Danny had gone with Moure, and they were just friends, but didn't it make sense to ask someone you like, if you really liked them?
Why was prom so jackin' complicated?!
It was then that Danny noticed Roch wandering around on the dance floor all alone. She yelled and gestured at him to come over to the threesome. "HEY! ROCH! ROOOOOCH!" Poor Moure. Why did he say yes?

Get her...back? Junko blinked, looking mildly worried. What did he mean he'd get her back? She had a lot of hairties and clips and pins in her own hair but she wouldn't care if he pulled any of that out. She could easily fix it. Why was he threatening to get back at her? ...What was he planning? It seemed Junko would have to be wary of Seiji for the rest of the night. She had no idea what he could have planned, and that was kind of sort of really a problem. She'd have to be on her guard from now on until she was safe and sound in her room and sleeping. Wait, maybe even then she'd have to be careful. Oh dear. As his smile fell Junko let go of one hand to wag her finger at him. "Ah, ah, ah. You're breaking the ruuuuules." No frowning! She smiled again and held his hand, giving a small shrug and shaking her head. "It's okay. It was fun watching you with Tomo-chan~." She said nothing of the dance with Aislin. Not out of dislike, she really wanted to like the ghoul! But she was making it so hard to like her for some reason. Sigh. But she perked up again and bounced on her toes a little, glad she finally had his undivided attention. Good, good! She was glad. And this time nothing could interrupt them, Junko wouldn't allow for it. Even if she had to drag him away from the dance floor for a dance. Junko just wanted to dance with him. Just once. She blushed a little as he leaned in close, fully expecting a kiss until he spoke into her ear. "Hold onto my skirt? Why?"

Laughing lightly at Levi's comment, he turned towards the Tatzel with quite the grin. Her words were... a little awkward but he got the idea that she was trying to say. At least that was what he hoped.
"Well thanks Levi. Though I'm a little burnt out right now," he chuckled. He was definitely going to need to take a breather because of all the thrusting.
"Don't think I'll be doing that again too soon either," he added. One dance of pelvic thrusts was enough for him.

"Jackdammit, busted," Roch muttered, seeing Danny yelling at him from across the floor. He headed for the group, looking at them all before cocking his head slightly. "The world's going to burn down? Damn, Danny, this is your song!" He looked around, seeing Claire starting away, and Moure looking... well... Moure-ish, and shrugged, figuring he might as well. "Danny, you wanna dance? I'll go after Claire after this one, but she ditched me earlier, so--" He shrugged, grinning as he held out his hand. "Maybe she's tired after all the dancing she did earlier? Moure, you don't mind, right?" Which he didn't seem to wait for the answer for before grabbing for Danny's hand.

Well, I'd sure be up fer learnin' how ta do it if yer ever interested in teachin'. Being her first time seeing a rough bunch of boils perform a dance routine ever, she looked at it like a battle training of sorts. If the boils could dance with that sort of visible strength, perhaps it was something worth her while. If they could do it, so could she.
She took a sip of her dark red smoothie again, holding the black straw between her lips. Always excited ta learn a new mover 'er two. When ya got yer energy back, 'a course. Want ta see ya at yer best, Jericho! Especially if he was going to be teaching her; it wasn't going to be his best effort if he was as tired out as he was at the moment. The tatzel could wait for it another time.
Ya'll should have a drink. It'll pump ya up again Pump up his energy, of course.

He would have bite at the finger wagging in his face had it lingered there any longer, smirking faintly. Yes yes, the rule. Why was it that particular rule only applied to him? Double standards. He didn't mind though, not if her mood was lifting after whatever it was that had gotten so suddenly down. "Yes, you'll want to hold onto it so it doesn't get in the way of your feet, you see," he left a kiss on the side of her temple. "They'll be moving quite a lot here in a moment." As if on cue the previous song began to fade, slipping seamlessly into the starting beat of the next, and Seiji couldn't help but grin. He knew this song. It was fast paced, fun, and seemed right about perfect for reclaiming the happy go lucky mood they'd had not long before. His his hand on her's the boil reached down to grab a handful of long skirts, hosting the side up so the hem would rest at about knee height and leave her legs relatively free and burdened. "Hold on to that," he urged as he curled his fingers around her hold on the fabric, grinning and using that grip to steer her a step away from him as he took up her other hand in his blackened one. Pushing first with the right, then the left to get their shoulders shimmying back and forth in time to the beat. "I'm waking up at the of the end of the world, but it's feeling just like any other morning before.~" Upper body twisting, the set his hips to rotate in the opposite direction, balance shifting to the balls of his feet as he stepped from side to side, toes pointing with every small kick. "Now I wonder what my life is gunna mean when it's gone.~" He released the hand still holding the folds of her dress, pushing her out at arms length with the other before pulling her in again, and with a slight turn of his wrist rolling her back to him so he could curl that arm around her, hold her close as her back met his chest and he used that contact to guide her body in that rolling, bouncing beat. "The cars are moving like a half a mile an hour And I started staring at the passengers who're waving goodbye Can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time?~"

Junko tilted her head, looking rather curious of what Seiji had planned. And then the song changed and the tempo quickened. Wait...what kind of dancing were they doing? She'd kind of been expecting like what he'd done with Tomoko...but was he going to dance with her like he had with Aislin? Oh dear. He was greatly overestimating her dancing skills if he was expecting her to do all that. She looked down when she felt part of her dress being lifted, reaching to hold it in one hand and then look up at Seiji again. Her face basically asked the question for her, the question of 'what now?'
She squeaked and moved her feet how he seemed to want her to go, trying very hard not to accidentally step on him. She was in heels. It would hurt. Junko nearly stopped when she heard him start singing, stumbling a bit on her heel and blushing. He...he was singing for her! Junko smiled and squeezed the hand that was holding hers, looking up at him with a dreamy look in her eyes while...trying to follow his lead.
It was kind of hard when one had no idea how to do this kind of dancing. Junko looked down at his feet for a moment to try and mimic what he was doing, squeaking as she was suddenly pushed away and then pulled back in. She spun as she returned, somehow managing to not fall straight onto her butt before finding herself against Seiji again. With her back to him. Again. Junko giggled and finally rolled her eyes, grinning helplessly up at the boil as he sang to her and lead their dance. She was no Riley, the perfect copycat, but she could certainly try!

The Dance he was leading her in wasn't exactly swing, but it was close. He was simplifying the foot work quite a bit, putting more motion in the hips and shoulders. Making it as easy to follow as he could even as he twirled her about. She'd asked for real dancing, and that's what he was giving her. Confident that she'd kick up on the steps and be able to follow along with him, if not perfectly, then at least well enough to not fall. Of course if she did stumble he'd be there to keep her upright, a certain amount on strength always present in his hands where he held her. See, I've got you?
He missed her eye roll, attention on the back of her head and their feet, but he always wasn't keeping her pressed against him for long. As the chorus picked up the beat the boil gave her hip a little push, pulling on her hand again to spin her out away from him. Tugging her into a spin, hand on her hip, before reclaiming the hand that still held her skirt. It was a good thing the dress was long.
"I believe the world is burning to the ground Oh well I guess we're gonna find out~"
Lifting both theirs up, he slide one set of hands behind her head, the other behind his own, and released his grip so his fingers could slide down her arm as he stepped away. Claiming the opposite hand as he came to it so he could pull her in to spine her under his arm and behind his back.
"Let's see how far we've come Let's see how far we've come~"

Jericho had to stare at Levi for a bit there, with the way she decided to word things. Surely she didn't know what she just sounded like right? Regardless, he was feeling a tad awkward again because of it.
"Um... well it's pretty simple really. I doubt someone like you would need an instructor for a basic move," he said with a grin, hoping that would deter her from trying to get him to teach her how to pelvic thrust. That was not something he really wanted to do any time soon.
And again, her final comment warranted a few seconds of staring. Shaking his head to himself, he went on and cautiously drank some of his juice.

The tatzel had figured it was indeed something requiring a know-how. Despite Shun mentioning it wasn't ceremonial, she felt that it surely had a specification of some sort...which she lacked. Levi just couldn't put her finger on what it was that she was missing for the move. The ghouls who had attempted the move didn't look the same as the boils doing it somehow.
Was it the power put into it? She just didn't know.
Well, Jericho seemed to believe she could learn it on her own. Since he had the move down and done it properly (his winning was further proof), he was the one to ask.
hmm- looked like them ghouls were missin' something fer that move though. Figured ya'd let me in on it.
She sipped along with him, not really sensing his discomfort. Levi had a talent for missing the typical awkward moments.

Junko laughed as she was spun away, trying not to lose her grip on her dress as she was tempted to extend her own arm out to add some kind of flair to it. What? They did it in the movies! She'd just settle for holding it out as far as she could with the dress still in her hand. As she was brought in again she giggled, grinning up at him. This was fun! No wonder he kept doing it with the others! It wasn't too, too hard to get the hang of it. Junko was certainly no pro, and she did stumble a couple times due to wearing heels and not her usual sandals; it was a matter of getting used to wearing these shoes at all. They were going to be removed soon.
She forgot she dropped Shehk's shoe by the DJ booth. Oops.
Suddenly her hand was lifted away from her dress and being moved behind their heads, and she blinked. But...her dress! It was in the way of her feet! She couldn't keep dancing the way they had been if it--EEP! "Wh-what're you--" Junko squeaked as she was suddenly turned around him. She'd seen him do this with Aislin, but great Jack was this kind of scary! Her thoughts consisted of 'OhmyJackohmyJackohmyJackohmyJackohmyJackohmyJackdon'tdropmeohpleasedon'tdropme!' until she was on his other side and settled on her feet again, looking slightly frazzled. Hooboy. That'd...that'd been fun! But scary, very scary. She hadn't been expecting it. Junko looked up at Seiji again and laughed, reaching up to wrap her arms around his neck and pull herself up for a sweet kiss. Naughty Seiji! Startling her like that!

Furrowing his brow, Jericho didn't answer right away. Levi seemed to be really trying to deconstruct the whole hip thrust thing and he didn't really want to delve into details all that much.
"Er... Guys might have a more natural tendency for uh.. thrusting?"
His wings shifted a bit uncomfortably as he didn't know how to go about this.
"I don't really know what to say otherwise."

Jove's ears perked, she made those with Junko? His tail began to wag. He wouldn't have been surprised if Alessa had made any of the little cookies, because she made them all the time for Ren. In his mind cookies were irrevocably linked to the ghoul. The same way he knew Junko would make clothes, and Tomoko would make tea. But apparently all of them could make cookies! It must have been another one of those ghoul things, like the hugging. Except much better! His expression, while still not exactly smiling, brightened to see Tomoko's happy smile, and he nodded. Cookies were his first and favourite treat, he had never eaten anything as delightful and sweet before his first cookie. And even though school had exposed him to all sorts of sweet, tasty snacks, cookies remained his favourite.
