Desu-chan, you're not hiding puppies in those teacups, are you?

Stupid as yer face! Comeback achieved. The white haired ghoul prided in the OwO fatcat that rushed through the others with fart rainbow a-blazin'. As it passed the >[ nyan who was just about to come in second, it accidentally flailed its tail knocking the >[ into a roll. Thus, the OwO nyan took its place in second while the >[ rolled through for third. The angered nyan hissed at the other wildly. Somehow this scenario was oddly familiar; the ghoul shrugged away her deja vu.

Levi turned to West with a chuckle as she had noticed he was sour about the loss. Well, they both technically won but her win outweighed his. Second would do just fine in that case; she'd take the bonus win. Then he did the unthinkable. Questioned her fair combating. If he'd meant to direct the snarky remark to one of the ghouls handling the booth, she took it otherwise. There was no honor in fighting a battle that was set up for you to win in the first place. Trickery and pranks were all good, but to set things up via drugging or handicapping?

Ya callin' me a cheat, West? Is THAT what yer doin'?! I oughta git ya right in tha gut fer that! I AIN' T NO CHEAT.

Slamming a balled fist into the counter, she collected herself again after her outburst. Now was not the time for drop kicking the boil despite her wishes to do so. There were far too many people around and she'd certainly give them a good wallop too if she tried anything. Her tail wavered in thought, showing her frustrations. The ghoul furrowed her brow and eyes gleamed over with a bright flicker. He'd meant to go smash those cups before, right?

Well then...

Let's go n' see who's a' better brawn. She'd meant to pick up the mallet from the bunny game for this, but that wasn't in the cards. They were only allowed to throw one tiny cube... this would not do. She threw the cube anyway as a mild gesture that she was the winner over him by any means. Regardless of the nature of the game. He was the strongest opponent she knew to this day (besides her Pa, of course) and gave him respect for it. There was, however, a need to overthrow him a bit here with such an accusation. He was alot of fun; just needed a lesson in implication.

Looking at him with a glare eye-to-eye, she smiled an eerily large toothy grin. If there was a chance for her uppercutting him, this would've been it. Alas. Yer time'll come... I'll git ya fer that. On mah tatzel word. Might as well have been the kiss of death.

With that, she nudged him with a shoulder as she strolled past him, disappearing into the crowd behind him. A plan was already formulating in her mind.

Well, well, well. It seemed the ghoul put a lot of stock in honor. West supposed he could see where she was coming from. He wouldn't have wanted to be accused of cheating, nor would he ever really think of cheating in most situations, although it wasn't completely off of the list of tactics he would consider employing depending on the circumstances. It was usually much more satisfying to beat someone fair and square, especially when they were so sure they were going to beat you. If he had thought about it, he could have applied that logic to this situation, if he had looked at it from the opposite point of view. From where he stood, West couldn't say he was having very much fun at all.

He leaned in to her threat, smirking back at her in response to her smile. If she thought to intimidate him, it was going to take a lot more than getting in his face to do so. "Like t'see you try," he said, stretching his arms above his head and giving her a mocking yawn as she pushed her way past. Honestly, he'd be looking forward to it.

West smiled to himself and picked up one of the sugar cubes as Levi walked away. He tossed it at the stack of cups and watched it as it plinked to a stop.

Vaith glanced at the sugar cubes in his hand. He closed his fist around the lump as his familiar lunged for it, shaking his head. "Uhh, no. This is for the game. I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate you eating their ammo."

"Maybe you can eat a cupcake if we win one of those. But it'd be a waste to win cupcakes for you to eat when I can just buy you food. Ugh, okay, nevermind. I'll buy you something else."

With that line, the lump of sugar was promptly thrown towards the teacups.

VAITH SERIOUSLY WONDERED. This game reeked of animal cruelty. Okay, perhaps this boil shouldn't be talking if you considered his own dragon familiar. But still, you set off little nyan-cats and betted on them?!

Hell no, Vaith wasn't going to pass up this sweet bet.

He thought Canniborange was a fine choice. Looked hungry. If you were hungry, you ran faster right? Him and his dragon familiar exchanged a wary glance and a thumbs up.

"Oh, you want to try this time around?" Vaith asked, head bent to accomodate the familiar on his shoulder. He looked skeptically at the flimsy net, handing the handle to the little jaws of his noise familiar.

"Go for it." He pointed forward, allowing the familiar to hobble down his arm, it's claws digging into his hand. He didn't say a thing because his noise looked so adamantly concentrated on the fishes that were almost a sbig or bigger as the familiar itself.

Siiiiiiiigh. Vaith wasn't expecting much. But he should be encouraging, right?

Who would've thought flipping tables was harder than flipping pancakes? What's up with that!

It was hard to resist the next booth. Needless to say, of all the booths present at Open House Desu-Chan and Usa-Pyon's booth certainly caught the eye. It stood out from the rest; Merope felt himself drawn towards the alluring retina-burning bright pink that decorated the booth from banner to booth. He blinked -- where was he? He stared at the booth, eye widening at the different types of activities.

Which one should he start with? Which to pick? He began with the one closest to him: table flipping. He set his clipboard down on the table as he picked up his first piece of paper. It took him a couple tries to fold the paper correctly. The first three attempts were turned into snowballs of crumpled frustration as he couldn't make heads or tails of the instructions. The fourth was ruined thanks to his claws. In total, eight sheets of paper were sacrificed before Merope finally got the hang of it.

Victorious, he flipped his lopsided table high... only to watch it flip six times before coming back down. "Yesssss!" He pumped his fist for victory. It didn't matter that it was only six -- he did it! He was glowing with pride.

Ys had decided to try things out in a different order today to see if changing things up a bit would improve her luck. She made her way back over to the Nyan Cat Race and selected a lively looking entrant. With her bet placed, the race was on! She watched excitedly, cheering for her chosen cat and clapping. "Go! Go, leetle food-beast!" Maybe she would be a little more lucky this time around.

"Yeah!" Ys hopped up and down before performing a shuffling victory dance as her cat crossed the finish line. She had bet on the right one this time around! Fresh from her recent success, she moved over to the teacup game to try that one out once again. Upon reaching the Teacup Tower game, she seized a sugar cube and- wait! Instead of simply chucking it at the tower this time, she took a minute to line up her aim, one eye squinted in concentration. With that, she let it fly, hoping to hear the ping of victory.

Well, there was a ping sound all right, but it was the sound of defeat again as the sugar cube careened off the rim of a teacup and fell on the ground. Ys was tempted to pick it up and eat it, having heard that these things could be tasty, but it would have been difficult to manage that at the moment, what with her helmet on. Dismissing the loss since the race had been such fun, she moved on to the next game, fishing.

"Hello again in there," she crooned, peering into the water at the disturbing aquatic denizens. The creepier the better as far as she was concerned, and this was the place to find such fish. She straightened up again and scooped up the net, ready to try the game. Would she actually catch something today? She wondered for a moment if that was always the way it went, or was it sometimes the players who got caught by these fishies? Well, she could take 'em if it came to a fight. "Here, feeshy," she coaxed, plunging the net into the water in an attempt to snare someone.

This isn't funny, the life of a bunny is at stake! What do you mean they're not alive?

"Crafty leetle thingsss, yess? I will get one of you sssoon!" Ys put down the remains of the net, thinking that it might be easier to just reach in and grab a fish or two. Of course, that would make it harder to avoid the teeth, spines, tentacles, and various other possibly dangerous appendages, but still! She was a monster, she was more inclined to just using brute force and worrying about the scratches and whatnot afterward. She watched the tank's inhabitants for a few more minutes before picking up and heading over to the next game.

Oh yes, she remembered this one. As much fun as it was to mash things with a big mallet, she felt a twinge of guilt when she saw the way made Usa-pyon feel, as evidenced by her expression. Taking the mallet in hand, she got ready to play. Her plan was to hold back again and hopefully the whack-a-bunnies wouldn't fare too badly this time around either.

Merope reached out and pocketed the lopsided table he had folded. It wasn't the best of tables, but it was his. Speaking of his, it was also his fault that it crumbled far too easily when it was stuffed into his pocket. Whelp. Not much he could do about that.

The next game was... He tilted his head to one side as he watched Ys what the bunnies, hitting some and missing others. "Huh," he began, "That looks interesting." He stepped up when she was finished, missing Usa-Pyon's expression completely as he went to work trying to hit as many as possible.

MISS! WHAM! WHACK! SMACK! MISS!

He beamed when he hit most of them. He frowned when he realized that Usa-Pyon was giving him a horrified expression. Onto the next game, then...

Marosa walked up to the teacups again, picking up a sugar cube and throwing it to attempt to try to get it into one of the cups.

He winced as he missed again, shaking his head. Teacups and daintiness just weren't his thing.

Merope's fins flared as he noticed the fish tank. Fish! Fish catching! This was perfect! He was a sea-dwelling creature, he was going to ace this so hard! He stopped himself from reaching in with his bare hands when he noticed the flimsy net. If he had to use one... Yeah, there was no way he was going to ace this.

The undead boil sighed, accepting the net and staring at the fish tank. How was he supposed to use this? Did he just... stick it in and waggle it around? It didn't seem very effective. Slowly as if the fish tank would bite him, Merope slid the net into the water and proceeded to wiggle it around.

FISH FAIL.

Merope stuck his tongue out at the net, dropping it off to one side of the tank. Stupid things. He'd gotten tangled up in more than one of them on his way to Amityville. It was an experience he hoped he never had to repeat again, what with his much smaller size.

He shook his head and moved onto the next game, staring blankly at the pastry cats. Nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan nyan they went.

Merope picked one at random, and hoped for the best.

Little miss Grouchy Grape apparently didn't appreciate being picked at random. She spent the entire race glaring back at Merope before flouncing off to the finish line, head and tail held high. Quickly and not wanting to make eye contact again, Merope moved onto the last game: the tea cups. He picked the sugar lump up and tossed it into the air once before catching it, trying to look like he knew what he was doing. One eye was closed as he took aim, tossing the little cube up and towards the stacked cups.
