Jonathan smiled at the girl, but politely shook his head at her question. "Nay, there is nothing more I need at the moment." Still, his tone and manner half-wished her to stay, if only for the intelligent conversations that they might share to pass the night. "If you are not busy between your martial training sessions," the captain added, "I would most welcome your company again. The night is young, and my door is always open to young scholars seeking knowledge."

A strange looking woman appeared on the bow of the ship, though she was somehow invisible to the eyes of the common humans that manned the ship. She looked around for a moment and grunted angrily at the wooden deck, "Blasted tail..." she cursed, "useless on these wooden contraptions they call ships..."
The blue gem on her forehead began to grow dull, and her red tail changed into a pair of humanoid legs, "Well, I guess this form will do..." she said before noticing that she was a little under dressed to appear as a human, "damned humans and their clothing..." she sighed, and the two blue gems on her right arm also grew dull, and a dark cloak covered her body.
"There, now it's time to have a little... Fun" she said with a devilish grin on her face. She stood up and walked to what appeared to be the Captain's Quarters, and kicked the door wide open. She became visible as she walked through the doorway, and she looked directly at the man who seemed to be in charge, "A moment of your time, if you will?"

Jonathan mentally groaned to himself as yet another visitor came into the cabin. "Yes?" he asked, still holding his musket in hand and sizing up the newcomer. He obviously had not seen her on the ship before. If he had, he would have taken note of her. "Who are you and what do you want? You do realize that barging into a captain's cabin is an offense?" he continued the interrogation. She was obviously not welcome, seeing as how she was an intruder, both on this ship and in his personal space.

Cosette jumped as the door to the cabin flew open and thuded against the wall. The clatter caused her to jerk her head towards the door, her blue eyes wide with surprise. Who was this woman, and why the bloody hell did she need to make an entrance like that? Cosette as she had been raised was very atune to stations in life, and only men and very high class women would dare display that sort of arrogence, and in the presnace of Jonathan the current captain none the less.
Her eyes glanced towards him for a moment, he didnt seem to pleased at her enterance either, which only fueled her dislike of this situation.

The woman noticed the musket, and lowered her head slightly, "I mean no harm, and I did not mean to offend," she said in a somewhat melodious voice, "My name is Astrid, I came in search of people who might be interested in helping me..." she smiled slightly as she lifted her head, "If you are interested, I'm sure I can reward you and your crew well," she said as the smile left her face
She pulled out a dark sack, that seemed to jingle as she drew it from the cloak. She then opened it and pulled out a few golden coins. The smile returned to her face as she moved them in her hand, making them shine rather brilliantly, "Are you interested in helping me?" she said to the man,

Rachel had long since returned to her quarters, and the isolation was starting to become too much for her, The blade that had called itself Nigel started to shake, then began talking again...
"So, you're bored or something?" Nigel said, "why don't you go out on the deck and watch the water?" he laughed softly, making his metallic body shake.
Rachel sighed softly, "I guess you're right..." she said to the blade, "wait... Why is a blade actually talking to me, and why am I agreeing with it?!" She shook her head at the thought, and didn't bother trying to think about it further, she then stood up and walked out of her quarters and back up to the deck.
She walked to the bow, and looked out to the deep blue waters. She smiled at the waves, "Such beauty, in such a deadly place..." she whispered to herself, a tear fell from her left eye as she remembered her life, before joining the crew of the Dementia.

Tawny had been about to slip out the door when it slammed open. She missed being smacked by it with luck, and pressed herself against the wall next to the door. Golden-Amber eyes were large, and she gave Cosette and Jonathan wide-eyed looks behind the woman's back. Should she leave now? She rather wanted to stay... by the look of it, it was going to get interesting if the Captain agreed. That seemed like an awful lot of gold pieces to her. Really, even ONE gold piece seemed like an awful lot to her. She was still, standing next to the door, watching Jonathan. Orders?

If Jonathan was not in the best of moods when the woman entered, he certainly was not pleased at her proposition. He brought his fingers up to the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes for a moment, staving off a headache. Not only was he disturbed by the intrusion, he was being asked to babysit. Still, after a moment, the captain looked apologetically at the two regular crew members and waved them off. "Please leave us," Jonathan spoke, with an obvious tone of mental exhaustion and annoyance. Still, he had to entertain his guest, and sat down in his chair again, still holding his musket. "And tell Miss Williams to get in here," he called out to the exiting ladies. While he was up for 'fun and games', he was dead serious when it came to business. Especially profitable business.

"yes Sir" Cosette said quietlty as she stood, her blue eyes looking at the woman as she did so. Her blue eyes narrowed lightly as she moved to exit the door. She didnt like this woman, nor the air around her. A nagging feeling in the back of her head told her she was trouble and she woudl rather avoid her at all costs. But when there was money involved...well now, who could argue with that.
That thought startled her and she smirked a little dispite herself, maybe she was becoming a pirate after all. Cosette's lithe form slipped out past the woman whom seemed content to have stood in the doorway this entire time. Thought she would have liked to have grunt and shove past her she did mange to mummble. "pardon me." As she slipped by and out onto the deck.
The moonlight was silver white and cool compared to the warm candel light that had filled the captains room. Slipping out she had to blink her eyes a little to adjust. She chanced a look back at them both while the door was still open, Jonathan still had his hand pressed against the bridge of his nose. Ah poor Jonathan.
***
It took awhile for Cosette to finally find the woman she had been charged to find... she wasnt in her quarters and she had scoured the ship trying to find her. Finally she had spotted the figure on the bow and had rushed up to her. "Miss Williams!" She exclaimed, nearly out of breath by the time she reached her. "The Captain would like to see you Miss." She added as she was now close enough to the woman to deliver her message. Honestly she didnt know what else to say... a Strange woman appeared and wants us to help her? Well...wasnt that up to the captain to say, and she'd surely see the woman once she entered the cabain....

Tawny nodded, and slipped out behind Cosette, shutting the door behind her. She would leave Miss Williams to Cosette... Tawny had no clue who the woman was. Instead, she moved for the side of the ship, resting her hand on the rail and looking out over the water, considering. She would need to find someone to teach her the sword in the morning. She would also take advantage of the pants and boots she had purchased. This outfit wasn't one she was ready for on a ship just yet.
She stood by the railing, watching the waves shoot by, thinking.

Once he was done in the kitchen of the ship, Shun stood around for a little longer, trying to think of what to do now. There wasn't a whole lot to do around the ship at the moment, so he just wandered back on deck to go stare at the water for a little longer. If he was lucky, maybe there was something that needed to be done up there that could help him kill some time, even if was just swabbing the deck.
When he was out once again, he just glanced around momentarily before wandering towards the front of the ship.

Rachel turned around after hearing someone call out to her, she looked directly in the direction of the voice, and saw the 'maid' again. She shook her head slightly then walked forward, "So, Jonathan wants to see me again, eh..." she said to herself, "it better be important..." she sighed, then walked off to see what Jonathan wanted.
~~~~~
Rachel walked in the open door, and noticed the oddly dressed woman. Was this woman the reason Jonathan had sent for her? She walked over to Jonathan and looked to him, "You sent for me?" she said to him, returning her eyes to the cloaked woman.
"Come in," Jonathan calmly speaks, extending a hand toward a nearby chair, urging Rachel to sit. "It seems as if our new-comer," he pauses to look at the cloaked woman, "is an intruder on this ship. I have called you in here because apparently she has a profitable proposition for us, if we help her." While he would rather kill the woman, dump the body overboard, and then go hunting for merchant ships, Captain Graves did understand the importance of running the ship like a republic, one where he valued the opinions of his officers, rather than an absolute monarchy. His attention turned back to the cloaked girl. "Tell her what you told me, and do not spare the details."
Closing her eyes for a moment Wren shook her head gently, her eyes wandering her small room. Glancing at the half unwrapped package, Gabriel had given her, she shook her head bright red hair moving slightly. She had never finshed opening, she had no real reason not to. Huffing slightly, Wren sat up slowly swinging her feet of the side of the bed before standing completely. Shaking head head once more, Wren started out the door to head up to the deck.
The one who called herself Astrid sighed softly, "As you wish," she said before clearing her throat, "as I was saying, My name is Astrid, and I came in search of people who may be interested in helping me, for a reward of course," she paused for a moment to show the golden coins directly to the woman.
She put the coins away then spoke again, "If you're willing to help me, I will tell you what I require," she paused for a moment, "I don't want to tell people my story, unless they are going to help me," she closed her eyes, and moved her right hand to her heart.
