"Okay. Seriously...you need the password to get into my office. Plus I'm not stupid. There are portraits in my office. You say nobody saw you, but believe me, I'm not stupid enough to just let it be that easily to walk into my office. Do you really think they wouldn't know? "
Lillian had run upstairs just in time and caught the two of them. She took the paper back, snatching it from their hands.
"NOT. Funny. I am very dissapointed in the both of you. Stealing from me. There were charms everywhere! 50 points. From Ravenclaw and 50 points from Hufflepuff as well. You both will recieve detention, I am sending an owl to both of you on when you will be polishing the trophies."
Lillian looked angrily at the both of them and strode away. She wasn't that stupid. There were sensory and stealth charms everywhere in her office, and it was embarrasing to be made a mockery of.

Annette caught up to Headmistress sing. She felt bad for the girls, and really wanted to help. "Actually... Headmistress sing, would it be alright if they served detention with me? I have some things I would like them to in my room, and I was the one that found them out after hours." She hoped the headmistress would agree to this, but she couldn't be positive.

"Hm? Oh, alright then. I have already arranged Olli's detention with her. But certainly, Amelia can serve detention with you. She's only polishing trophies in the room for a little while. So Amelia only needs to be in detention for a half hour." Lillian sighed a bit...she hated being hard on girls who were just pranksters...after all she had a daughter who was one. But still, stealing in her office...a half hour wasn't too terrible.

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli's eyes widened at the aspect of having detention with Annette instead of Sing. "Headmistress, can I please have my detention with Professor Soul too?"

"No Olli you may not. I know you were just joking around. But stealing from my office is a very serious matter. Just be happy I do not plan on writing to your parents about this or anything. I am very, very dissapointed in the both of you. You will be polishing trophies for the half hour we discussed. End of question, that is my final word on the matter. I do hope you an Amelia have learned your lesson. If you ever want to steal from an accomplished witch in the future, you may want to put a bit more effort in it, and if you ever do try to steal again, I do hope that it's not from me." She tried her best to keep the annoyance and hurt out of her voice. She had trusted these girls..her and Amelia had disscussed her schedule through owls, had talked, and they both betrayed her trust. She felt terrible..not really guilty, for what they did WAS wrong, but felt frustrated knowing that even students who are kind to teachers and superiors can still be hiding something from them, can still trick them, no matter how nice they may be.

Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Callysto breathed deeply, completely relieved. Her relief was short-lived though when Lillian began scolding two young girls her face contorted into confusion. Things had changed so suddenly she wasn't sure exactly what was going on anymore.

Lillian had just walked away from the two girls, and was no longer keeping the dissapointment from her face. She sat down by the tree next to Callysto, and folded her arms, and looked downward, like a child sitting alone in a playground. There was an akward moment of silence, and Lillian stared up into Callysto's eyes, putting her hands on the damp grass.
She was going to say something, but after she opened her mouth, she closed it again. She hated punishing people, hated scolding those two girls...but she wasn't all that angry. It wasn't anger that was making her face flush..it was pain...she trusted her students..she had talked to Amelia through owl...she liked Olli, but they betrayed her trust and walked into her office and walked out laughing. Now, what was really in her mind was eating away at her and her eyes widened a moment from fear...what if Callysto did something like this? What if others had turned on her...just like...
She had a sudden vision of herself, standing in the middle of a crowd of villagers, a younger her...her past self..and they were all jeering and screaming..and she was doing magic, all the magic she could...and her face was bleeding as they threw things at her...and she was turning to her husband..and tears were in her eyes..and he didn't care..and no one had cared...
She jerked back to earth quickly as a slight wind rustled the leaves left on the ground. No...she knew Callysto wasn't like that. She knew it. She was just feeling so weary ever since the baby being born..and now, people she cared about hadn't cared about her..she looked over at Amelia and Olli and straightened herself up a bit...she sighed and looked up at Callysto.
She tried to say sorry, but no words would come.

Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Callysto frowned, even more confused. Lillian kept silent but the look in her eyes said she was in pain. Emotional pain. Callysto immediately felt horrible anger rise in her chest. Anger for whatever happened to Lillian. Her Lillian.
She looked into Lillian's eyes and began speaking. "I said this before and I will say it every day for the rest of our lives. I love you Lillian, more than anyone or anything in this world." She paused for a moment. "If I could I'd take back whatever it is that haunts you now -- but I can't. What I can do though is show you how much you mean to me. And promise that I will never do anything to hurt you." She stopped, taking a deep breath. "Do you still have that stone?"

Lillian looked up into her eyes...she looked so sincere, how could she not trust her. In spite of what happened, she smiled.
"I love you too Callysto. Yeah, I keep it in my pocket."
She wasn't stammering now, and her voice was calm and clear and soft. She reached into her pocket and took it out. She had kept it close to her ever since she had gotten it.

Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Callysto's face grew red now with new embarrassment. "It-- it shouldn't be a stone anymore." She stammered out, rather nervous now.

"What do you.." But as Lillian looked down, she saw something incredible happen. Just as she was looking at it, the stone had changed, it wasn't a stone, but a beautiful ring. She smiled at Callysto, and slowly put it on her finger. It was a perfect fit, one of the most gorgeous bits of magic she had ever seen. As she put it on her finger, she leaned into Callysto, her head on Callysto's shoulder. She blinked back a couple tears of jot and felt that feeling again, that she had felt weeks before, of wanting to stay with her like this forever. ((I gotta go to bed, but I'll talk to ya later!))

Amelia Frances
Amelia felt bombarded by the sudden changes in emotion. Instantly she knew that Headmistress Sing was not someone she liked. No, not because she “got caught” somehow at both the lake and the tower. And she wondered how the windows would accept a password. No, it was because the Headmistress had forgotten being ten, or at the very least that she and Olli were still children. Amelia knew enough to know that ‘adults’ weren’t crushed by ten year olds’ behavior. Kids would act out; they could be pissed about it, especially if they don’t catch it in time, but to actually be as heartbroken as the Headmistress was, was purely ridiculous. To accuse either of them of being cruel or vicious in their attempts at pranks was wrong. It was a prank for fun, sure Amelia knew stealing was bad, but it still was purely for entertainment and to learn more about the castle. It was pathetic of her to act otherwise.
The young girl didn’t say a word during the belligerent reprimand. She merely locked her jaw and listened. Still she was grateful for not having to deal with the Headmistress during her dentition, though she felt half an hour plus the 50 points lost was a little bit of overkill. But that seemed to be what Professor Sing wanted. To punish them as much as possible, but still seem like she came out best. Shaking her hair, so that it fell into place, Amelia turned her back to Sing, and asked Professor Soul in a quiet, crisp voice, “I have never had detention here before. When may I meet you?” she said so calmly, as she knew that the Transfiguration teacher wasn’t being as ridiculous as the Headmistress. In fact, she was fine with the thirty minutes for ‘being out late’ though she didn’t realize there was a curfew. ”For future reference, what time is the curfew, ma’am?” This time her voice was perfectly polite, yet loud enough for Sing to hear. It had a condescending note to it, as much of one that she could manage, since the Headmistress was sure to hear.
