Ok so, trolls aside Id like to ask the same question to an actual mod. Id rather not deal with people trying to push my buttons. Not to mention there actually is a spot on the report function for trolling. Id ask that someone deal with it but really it doesn't bother me. Anyway the question is posted below.
Ive had an idea rolling around in my head. If I come back to the guild Im retiring all my old characters to my memorable character threads and starting fresh. But I have a concept in mind that ive been wanting to try. Here it is.
I wish to make a fuin focused character. But they dont do fuin the usual way. They will also be a performer but they dont use instruments or their voice. I wish to make a dancer that draws fuin seals on the ground as they dance across the battlefield.
They would be short term seals as it would only be drawn in chakra and obviously ones that are meant to last longer would have to be done in other ways. As shinobi can release chakra from their hands and feet, as well as other parts of the body it could be done in my opinion. However I wish to know if this can be done within your systems.
Would this be possible?

I know you didn't quote me but that sounds damn cool. Reminds me of some characters that I read about in a book 3nodding Good luck.

Hm. The musician class is really more of a performer class, so at least Ninjutsu would be doable. Fuuinjutsu is an advanced form of Ninjutsu, so that base is covered. As stated in the Fuuinjutsu thread's opening post, if you create Fuuinjutsu on the battlefield, as opposed to beforehand--like in a scroll or tattoo--even non-sensor-type people will be able to know that you are making it. That aside, the simple answer is yes, you'll be able to do it. Please keep in mind that most Fuuinjutsu is very high ranked, and quite taxing or mainly situational. My advice would be to learn from those that know the ones you're trying to study, to take advantage of the teaching system. Does this help, Rinaku?

This helps in a sense but the biggest question is this doable through dancing and leaving my chakra on the ground in the array. If the seal is being made larger and through different means than writting on paper, in example an intricant dance pattern while tracing the explode kanji on the ground for a explosive note it would be harder to detect in a sense. Its just using a much larger canvas and brush. Just thought it would be a fun way to do things.
Anyway your help is always appreciated.

Yes, of course. As an example, my rpc, Miyamoto Mamoru, uses a wire jutsu (Ayametori no jutsu) to write a Fuuin on the ground from up on high in the air. When he lands, he still has to flood it with chakra to activate the symbol. In this fashion, he doesn't have to keep track of where to flow his chakra, it simply fills the gouged out earth. In your case, with the dancing, you'll be going over the land (etc.) and simply 'painting' it with your chakra, so you'll have to keep track of where you're going and where you've been. Both are doable.

You're quite welcome~ ^_^ Hm, if I had to describe something relatable, it might follow one of these:
Chakra expulsion from the body is slightly easier. (it usually takes Jounin to do what the Hyuuga can do naturally. This attribute would allow you to release it almost as easily as they can.)
Chakra expulsion from the body is moderately easier, at the expense of being more easily detected. (same as above, but going beyond 'slightly' incurs a penalty)
Chakra adheres to surfaces slightly better. (in case someone tries to damage or erase it)

The one that comes to mind the most is the Mystic Hero discipline, for the Bukijutsu Class, in which they can negate same-ranked Ninjutsu by swiping at it. If they have any sort of increase to their abilities, like 'performs bukijutsu slightly better', they would be able to take out your 'slightly better' ninjutsu. If you're at 'moderately better' (which I think is tier 2 or 3 out of 6 for descriptives), they would need to match that instead, or go to the next rank higher. (which would be easier to keep track of) The same goes for the Counter Balancing system, but that mainly plays with same-ranked ninjutsu versus each other. (and is canon)

An attribute, specific major training in conjunction with certain class disciplines, some kind of bloodline/clan ability, or the Counter Balancing system (which is available to everyone with access to Ninjutsu). Without doing one of these, like some random peasant tripping over it with bladed shoes, it wouldn't be possible to break.

Ok, so in example a person trying to break an A ranked seal wouldnt be able to break it by cutting the ground with a B ranked water sword technique, but could cancel the seal with something like Raikiri? Basicly the same as ninjutsu canceling other jutsu if im following.
Now you mentioned kenjutsu users as well. Would they be able to break it with just a sword slash if they had the proper rank or would it have to be a technique that could cancel the seal with clashing rules as well as the moderate attribute?

The first paragraph is true if the natures are the same. i.e. fireball vs. fire wall, water jet vs. tsunami, low maruton vs. high maruton (this includes kuchiyose techniques and fuuinjutsu). Null rank techniques are trickier, as someone could do a D-rank (10 chakra normally), but put 17 chakra in it instead, which would nullify the descriptives if it went against another D-rank (10 chakra) with any desciptive. They would have to have a reason for doing that action though if they don't normally have a habit of varying their jutsu's chakra.
Complex techniques utilize chakra, so they would have to deal with the C.B. system, and be of the appropriate ninjutsu type. As in, their complex move would need to have a correctly typed ninjutsu component, like a fire sword against a Katon fireball. If not, they would need something like the Mystic Hero discipline (being at rank, or with a descriptive) or the other defined ways previously mentioned. Simple techniques would also need the previous mentions.
those are interesting. Tell me, what would the extent of moderate be compared to slight when talking about damage being done to a seal structure.

(which would be easier to keep track of) The same goes for the Counter Balancing system, but that mainly plays with same-ranked ninjutsu versus each other. (and is canon)
So in essence they wouldn't be able to break the arrays without an attribute or something to that effect, not just a swipe of a kunai, or am i misinterpreting it?
Final question i have at the moment, Would simple techniques from kenjutsu or taijutsu be able to break the array, and would the array be repairable before activation if it was?
