ChibiChew (( Hey, I'm thinking of giving my character a proper name. I'm probably going to keep my real first name, Emily, but I'm still thinking of last names. Suggestions? )) Nothing is true….
Well since she's an American you would need an American last name. Here's a list of common surnames.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra hopped down to the Great Hall in the happiest of moods. She was finally going on a real date with Kenneth to the grounds. It took her a little bit longer in the common room then she would have liked and he was most likely waiting for her in the Hall, but even Aludra had to be a bit vain and say she looked good. Aludra had dressed warmly to withstand the cold outside but had dressed lighter underneath so she could show off her newly bought dress. She had dressed for the holidays since they were so near and even brought a little holiday 'treat' for when they were done with dinner.
She stepped into the Great Hall and a blast of scents hit her. All the good food that the kitchens provided was on the house tables, but she wouldnt be eating here. Looking around, she didnt see Kenneth anywhere and started to worry. Maybe he had got tired of waiting and left... ...6th Year Slytherin

Coming up from the kitchens I rushed into the Great Hall, thinking that I was so going to be late for our date tonight. It had taken a lot longer in the kitchens that I thought it would have, those house elves didn't want me to leave without first taking the kitchen sink with me.
Looking around the Great Hall I spotted Aludra waiting for me at the Slytherin table, looking well presented, I rushed over to her and said, "I'm so sorry that I'm late, those House elves do wish to please use, and wouldn't let me leave until they though I had enough food." Hefting the basket up so she could see it, I then offered my hand to her and asked, "Shall we go then?"

Aludra Yvette... "Oh, hey! I thought you might have left with me, I was taking so long getting ready..." she explained, smiling as she looked at the overloaded basket. Those house elves really did know how to make a person feel special. It was a shame her mom didnt own one, but she guessed her mother didnt need one because of her father, he was the house cook.
She smiled as she grabbed Kenneth's hand to help herself from the Slytherin table without tripping, eager to get away from the wonderful smelling food at the table. If he had came any later she would have gave in to the tantalizing smells of the Hogwarts dinner. "Of course, lets go have some dinner." His hand felt soft and warm in hers as Kenneth lead them to their ideal picnic spot. ...6th Year Slytherin

Sparrow sits down at the Gryffindor table and rummages through her bag looking for the sketch she had been too busy to color because of all the studying. She finds it and sets to work.

Sparrow places the finished sketch aside and devours some lunch. She then looks at the sketch while sipping some hot chocolate and makes a few adjustments before she is satisfied with her work.
