"All right then lets get started." Ken said as he walked over to his tiger and told her not to interfere in their fight, because this was meant to be a one on one fight between them, all the while he made three signs that could only be identified by the tiger itself that said while he was charging she was to sneak up behind him and attack. This was the first part of his strategy which involved deceiving his opponent into believing he would be the only one to attack so he would take his mind off of his tiger, after giving his tiger instructions he then got up and started to circle his opponent never taking his eyes off him. Using his perefial vision to determine where he would stop, he was of a lower rank so he would probably be offered the courtesy of striking first. People usually followed a person when they circled because if they didn't they would end up in their opponents blind spot which could mean the attack could come from basically any direction but the front, and it would take their opponent a longer time to, determine where their opponent was coming from and react accordingly which would be plain suicidal especially in this situation. When Ken stopped he ended up by a boulder that had been stuck in the sand that he could use to kick off of, he also ended up having his back to the sun this way the sun would end up blinding his own opponent, and would slow down his reaction time. While Ken was circling his opponent if he followed him his tiger would now be out of the range of his vision of his tiger, in which case she would then use the way she usually hunted to attack him quietly she would get behind him and when the moment was right she would pounce at him from behind, so that in that split moment his mind would not be focused on Ken but on the tiger coming at him from behind, due to the tiger attacking from the back it would be harder to react to, the value of a distraction not matter how small is incredible an instant is all it takes to end someones life. If he had not followed Ken then the tiger would simply try and sneak up and attack him from the side. He may have already seen this strategy once before on the automatons but nevertheless coping with attacks coming from two sides is still not an easy thing to do for anybody. When he determined that everything was ready he put on his metal claw and got on all fours and using the rock as a kickstand as well as the A-ranking taijutsu technique Devils Charge and the natural gift he had for speed, he took off so incredibly fast it could cause doubts as to weather or not he was still a gennin and aimed a slashing attack towards san with his claw. If he was facing towards Ken on top of his speed he would have the glaring sun in his eyes if he was facing behind him his reaction time would be dulled and if he suddenly turned around the sun would immediately blind him, Ken wanted to make avoiding this slashing attack as hard as possible.

Using their heightened senses from forming the Bond of Senses they could feel that danger was approaching however despite knowing this Ken could not turn however the tiger who hadn't been moving as fast as him could, though they ended up slashing each other a bit the damage was minimal. Let's see now I know that he's an iron sand user, and doesn't simply relay on his eyes to determine how we're going to move, meaning he probably has a different way of sensing us. I can gather what his basic elements are due to his bloodline, I also know he's primarily a ninjutsu user meaning I need to quickly draw this into close combat, seeing as how I never bothered to learn any ninjutsu. He also seems to think I've already used my trump card so luck me. After having evaluated his situation he then had to determine the course of action he had to take. He looked around his surroundings for something he could use to propel himself up into the air with. After coming up with an idea to get into the air he called his tiger over and climbed up onto it's back in a standing position, as he got 3 kunai and attached an explosive notes to them he told her to back up some to get a running start. On his order the tiger then began to run full speed towards where San was, and then jumped as high as it could into the air. Knowing that this wouldn't be enough to reach to where San was he pumped his chakra into his legs and at the height of his tigers jump pushed off of it's back and propelled himself higher into the air to a little above where San was. After reaching the appropriate height is where he started to have doubts about his plan after grabbing his kunais that had the paper bomb attached to it he threw them towards where the platform was hoping it would land and destabilize the place where he was standing though if this didn't work he had another plan to take its place.

Face-palming, the konin allowed some of his iron sand to create a platform for the kid and his tiger to safely land on as well froze the kunai a mere foot from where the kid had attempted to throw it. Talking in a slightly muffled tone through his hand, the Satetsu made an attempt to teach the kid yet another lesson....common sense....

"Lets think about this.....you know i manipulate iron sand.....IRON SAND...as in metal....and you are going to throw a METAL weapon at me....did you think that through...."

Dropping the platforms back to the ground...San was going to give the kid yet another attempt to do something combative...and hopefully intelligent.

Ken had been caught off guard at the sudden interruption of Bast, and simply looked at her as she was lecturing them. After she had finished talking Ken proceeded to tell her why he had started this spar. "In order to progress through another stage of my taijutsu style one of the requirements was sparring with someone of my own rank or higher at the same time I could accumulate combat experience, and the kage had told me to continue with my training is this not a good enough reason to spar?"

"No, it is not a good enough reason, you snide little punk," the clone responded, quickly becoming angrier. "Stop thinking only about yourself and start doing something productive like, oh I dunno, helping the recovery effort. We are not going to go to combat anytime soon, so your 'battle experience' is useless right now. If you'd like to dance about the place with San, do so after the recovery effort. If you're strong enough to be fighting, then go out and actually do some work; you'll get so much stronger, it's not even funny."

James watched the Gennin Spar with San some more and flashed back to his first encounter with the blind Satetsu . San had made him look like nothing then, and he was only a Jounin then. James had thrown his most powerful technique at the Satetsu, and had trapped him, but San had a answer to every move in the chess game that was ninjutsu. James laughed at the Gennin when he through the Kunai.

Bast interruption made James raise an eyebrow as his armor dropped away.

Here harsh words to the Gennin were the last straw for his temper.

James approached and walked around to stand next to Sanshi and In front of Bastet, he bowed slightly in respect, his anger manifesting in a curt and respectful tone.

"Rule five of the Sunagakure code. Respect superior shinobi. This works the other way, too. Everyone must, essentially, respect each other. I really don't see the latter half of this rule occurring currently Miyamoto-sama. I understand you are stressed from the current events, but Ken-kun's remark had a point. Last time I checked Shinobi did not mean carpenter If you wish then I could use these two for a operation Mamoru-sama tasked me with to aid in the recovery."

James walked on his way to the academy and let loose with a supersonic blast of wind to clear out some of the remaining water, He made sure everyone was clear. He caught the water particles in air and froze then manipulated them over the side if the Suna walls.

"Yes, you're right," she told James. "However, there is a time and a place for everything, and I'm not inclined to look at people who lack this sense of timing as anything more than children. I do disagree with you on one point, though: without a functioning Village, we aren't Shinobi, so the job title doesn't matter. Being a Shinobi does not mean that you aren't a citizen, and all citizens are required to help the Village's reconstruction."

With the others finally leaving, the clone and the Rashoumon dispersed and Bast yawned yet again. She still needed another three hours of sleep to reach the needed eight hours, so she set up an opaque barrier and started to drift back to sleep. She was terribly hungry, but the priority of sleep was more pressing and she would give in to that first.
