Vegas had been right about Strength not fully listening. The boy had expected Mi to follow the suited man, but now that she was here with them he had to wonder how things were going to play out. . . as well as why the supplier was here in the first place. And if the supplier was for him. . . well, he didn't want to think about that. The blonde decided to drop the issue and start actually paying attention to the conversation at hand. It was starting to become more apparent that he wasn't listening, which let her have some peace because he wouldn't have to know every little detail about another issue that had managed to force it's way into her little life. Strength ran his free hand through his hair, ruffling it some. Was he really that obvious when he wasn't paying attention? "Err, sorry." The teen let his hand drop back to the sand. He hadn't realized it, but while thinking he had been picking up sand and letting it sift out through the cracks between his fingers. His ashy eyes look at Mi "I'm sure you already know." The boy was just as curious about what she was in the business as she was about him.

She kept continously , internally telling herself that she would be able to defeat the demon when she was ready. She listened to Mi, slightly shocked but more or less just not concerned at all, honestly, who in this school wasn't a murderer at some point of their life? She contemplated whether or not she should confess the contract or not, she ultimately decided against it, Strength would hate her.

Strength wasn't surprised whatsoever by Mi's statement. In fact, it made things a little more clear to him. The boy's eyes flickered to Vegas, calculating how much he could say. Never mind her even, who could be in the background of their setting right now? Who was watching them? Especially with a Supplier out and about the Academy, Strength couldn't make any mess-ups in what he said.
Avoiding the question, Strength acted as if he was stifling laughing. "You? A killing machine? Yeah, sure." Maybe it would be enough to anger Mi and de-rail her from her previously asked question. I’ll build up a house, I’ll build up an army

She yanked Strength's hand and looked at him, the look on her face showed that she was about to b***h him out or force him to apologize. She had to make sure Mi stayed okay and out of pressure, stress or negativity because if any of those feelings had occurred, she was instantly vulnerable. "Strength, what the hell?" she whispered, feeling odd in her current environment. It was like Kazara all over again.

Strength couldn't help but let out a small grin, pleased that he had successfully gotten away from the question as well as that he found amusement in managing to annoy Mi. It vanished, as the blonde wasn't expecting Vegas to pull him. Why did this remind him of something else they had done? That time with the mind-reading-angel-girl? Strength saw her face though and knew what was coming. The boy smirked. Why was he finding this so funny? He didn't respond to the pinkette's question at all , and just stood up, dropping her hand and putting both of his in his pants pockets.
Strength looked out to the Ocean. In fact, he almost looked malicious in the moonlight and the way the soft breeze hit him. Maybe he could get back to the thrill of his work sometime soon. It had to be purely coincidence that the Supplier happened to be watching him at that moment. I’ll build up a house, I’ll build up an army

"You guys coming or what? I don't know about you, but I'd rather not freeze to death." The three weren't exactly dressed up in the coziest clothes. And the ocean breeze made the air cooler than it normally would be anywhere else in town. Mi wasn't really the type to get annoyed, but for some reason, she just gave in. Ugh, so slow. . .

She wasn't planning on leaving it at that, she was pissed at him for annoying Mi.
