Koko looked down at the captured raider, a look of disdain on her face. She placed the gun against her shoulder, sighing,
"You, skin me? Why ever would you want my skin? Besides... you won't get the chance to try."
Her eyes settled on the wounds she'd freshly inflicted upon the man, the barrel of her gun glinting dangerously in the light.
It was at this moment that Zed's voice sounded over the intercom & the mercenary's head jerked up. She waited for a moment before sliding her gaze back to Jackal. She raised her hands in a half-shrug before speaking,
"Awww, looks like our little meeting's been cut short huh? Nevermind, there'll be plenty o' time to have fun."
With that she began walking towards the cockpit, humming slightly & twirling the gun, not bothering to hide the blood stain.

John equipped the outdated but resourceful Land Warrior system to each gun and placed the communitcator in his left ear. He send a few test messages through and smiled as the tests where successful. John holstered his sniper rifle and shotgun on his back and sling his assault rifle on his front. He heard Zed's 'Request' for him to come to the cockpit. John muttered to himself and collected 3 clips of assault rifle ammo, 3 clips of sniper ammo and 24 shots for the shotgun.
John headed to the cockpit, walking in equal and practiced strides. He opened the door and walked in. He handed Zed a piece of paper with a frequency number.
"This is the frequency for my Land Warrior system. It's encrpyted and this will let you see what I see. Now, what's did you wanna see me and Koko about?"

Blood drooled from Jackals mouth as his head dropped down onto his chest, when he spoke, flecks of blood sprayed onto the floor, staining it an unhealthy red.
"I want your skin Koko," He forced his head up to look the girl in the eye, the effort showing in his strained facial features "because I think your pretty flesh would look great on my wall-"
The raider stopped talking as he began to cough, pain showing on his face as blood sprayed from his mouth, his head dropping once more so that his chin was resting on his chest.
As Koko walked away the raider summoned his remaining strength to half pick his head up, his eyes burning into her as she made a reference to more 'fun'. He smiled a bit, blood trickling from his mouth "Oh Koko, I do love it when you talk dirty to me..."With this, the raider slumped against his bonds, drifting in and out of consciousness...

Vance heard a child crying in another room. "hmmm people?" He look surrpirsed and ran off to the aid of the child.
The child was standing in the corner weeping.
Vance walked over slowly to the figure in the corner. "Hello? Are you ok?" He put his hand on the childs sholder and the crying stopped. The unknown child turned round and as to Vance's horror it was a dwarf. Vance receved a quick headbutt to the crotch and fell to his knees. "Ohhh...bloody midgets." He looked up to see the midget with a group of raiders around him. Vance lost consciousness.

As she walked away from the cargo bay, Koko managed to catch Jackal's last comment & rolled her eyes. She mumbled to herself,
"Honestly, can't say anythin' without it being called 'talkin' dirty'. Bah... damn raider."
Just before she reached the cockpit she stopped, putting one hand on her chin & furrowing her brows.
Hmmm... I might have gone too far with the stomach shot, probably have to do something about that before he bleeds to death.... wouldn't want him to die too quick.
With a small shrug Koko strode into the cockpit, raising her voice to address Zed,
"Awww, you pulled me away from a very fun little activity! So, what's the issue?"
She sat down in her usual gunner chair, noting the presence of John before returning her gaze to the captain.

Syuzanna sighed as he walked up behind the two, sticking the PP-93 over Thane's shoulder. "Hopefully nothing that will kill you." He directed to Demitri with a sarcastic tone caught in his voice.

Thane frowned slightly and stepped into the room.
"A generator should be down past this room.....I think..."
There was a hint of uncertainty in his voice. He swung the flashlight to and fro trying to figure out the inside of the room. He found what he was looking for- an elevator at the other side of the room.
"God, I hope it still works....."
He walked towards it his footsteps echoing around the room.

The view out of the Aiolos' front window was that of a small white dot appearing in the distance, eventually revealing itself to be a medium sized star.
Zed pulled a lever towards himself then flicked a few switches, slowing the ship down as it approached a pale green Mars-sized planet.
As the planet got closer, a shower of debris could be seen burning up brightly in it's relatively thick water-vapour rich atmosphere.
Below the falling debris, the large grey sleeper ship 'Excalibur' could be seen sticking up out from the moss-covered ground.
The planet, which would now me named Excalibur, was hot, humid and covered in shallow water oceans that were almost completely covered over with the layer of moss-like plant life that had nearly spread across the entire globe. The land was home to many millions of plants and animals, the largest of which were only around knee height.
Zed flew the Aiolos down through the thick atmosphere and towards the recently landed sleeper ship.
He mumbled to himself as he looked over the monitors.
"1.23 atmospheres, 44 degrees celcius... air is just about breathable..."
He turned to pointed out of the window at the sleeper ship that'd landed with it's rear end right up in the air -as the sleeper ships were designed to do.
The pilot grinned rather smugly.
"Welcome to planet Excalibur, the other human colony."

Jackal's breath became shallow, and he gritted his teeth, willing himself to stay awake. His wounds were still bleeding pretty heavily, and he was beginning to feel it.
Clenching his fists behind his back, the raider's face contorted with anger, tears beginning to sting his eyes in his fury.
Roaring loudly, the raider tensed his body up and thrashed insanely, making as much noise as possible, straining on his bonds until it hurt, and his fingers began to tingle. He spat blood as he screamed.
"Let me the f**k out now!!! Aaaargh!!! F**k you, f**k you!!!! I'll kill the f***ing lotta' ya' one by one!!!!"
The raider grimaced, tears of malice and pent up anger streaming down his face, he doubled over, slumping against his bonds, his breathing becoming more shallow than before...

Koko stood up slowly & wandered over to one of the Aiolos' windows, looking out upon the planet. She was interested in the planet, that was certain, but right now she couldn't really take in all that much... she was so tired. The mercenary swayed slightly, struggling to keep her eyes open. She let her gaze fall on Zed & smiled a bit,
"Look... Zed... it's great an' all but I can't really appreciate this right now... I'm beat...."
She couldn't stop herself from yawning at that moment & leant against the wall next to her.
"I'm gunna hit the hay...."
With that she slowly made her way out of the cockpit, heading towards the crew's quarters.
Just before she reached them, however, she heard the outburst from Jackal & sighed.
Oh great... I nearly forgot 'bout him, I'd better fix 'im up or he'll probably die.... arg....
Shaking her head to try & get rid of some of her sleepiness, Koko strode towards the medi-bay, grabbed some supplies & made her way back to the cargobay. Once there, she approached the raider & knelt down in front of him, placing the medical supplies next to her. Glaring at him she spoke, her voice full of loathing,
"Right, you'd better keep still while I fix ya up. I'm not gunna let ya die yet, I haven't had nearly enough time to truly torture ya."

Dimitri followed silently behind Thane and Syuzanna. That guy seemed really easy to wind up. His hand was inside his jacket, clutching tightly at the chain. He could feel his fingers wrapping around the cold hard metal.
A good few people had suffered from the chain. Dimitri had once found a lady being mugged-so cliche, he had thought. Without a second glance, Dimitri had swung the chain so the thick links had hit the man's head hard, then wrapped it around his neck, creating a loop that when one end was pulled, tightened further. The guy hadnt died...unfortunately....but stopped the mugging and left the lady alone.
"Alright, so what have we got to be scared of?" Dimitri called into the dim light, he straightened up and jogged loudly to catch up with Thane. His lips were pursed in a whistle as he stopped by the elevator.

Thane looked doubtful as he pressed the elevator button.
"huh...oh..uhm, well....I'm not really sure..."
He brushed some hair out of his eyes and, using the flashlight, looked around the room again. It wasn't that big, but there were some box shaped objects in the corner. Thane looked surprise as the sound of the elevator moving could be heared.
"Ah. It does work."

"Okay, so that's good right?" Dimitri asked as he looked behind for Syuzanna. Thane was a good guy it seemed, so Dimitri decided that he was going to stick around for a bit, see what happened.
Dimitri looked at the elevator, it looked a little dodgy, a bit damaged. But, once it had reached them and the doors had slid open, Dimitri stepped in.

John stared at the other planet in awe. "Why the hell didn't we find this?" He murmured to himself, staring at the other planet.
"Is anyone down there?" He spoke aloud

Zed eyed the monitors as several scans of the sleeper ship were finishing.
"Nope, they're still in cryo... it musta landed here only about a month ago... and the beacon on that thing transmits at the speed of light, so it's only just reached Ares..."
The pilot looked over the monitors at the massive lump of metal that was more than just a spaceship, but a dying species' last attempt to cling to existance, well, one of them at least.
"It's probably waiting for contact to be made... That was the Aiolos' second mission, to establish contact with a landed sleeper ship..."
