(last post for the night)
Zane cried out, but it wasn't in his normal voice, it was something else, something monstrous. As he lunged forward, his claws flaring at him as he appeared to be some sort of ravenous beast...a beast over taken by pure instinct. He was going to sink his teeth into his shoulder and his claws upon his chest in order to rip it apart and eat upon his entrails.

Hikaru nearly freaked out. And it was at that point that the snow started to swirl around Hikaru, and then formed into a spiked ice barrier that protected Hikaru. There were spikes all over that barrier. It had happened to quickly and so suddenly that it would be impossible to stop in time to avoid the surprise offensive defence. This would seriously hurt Zane if he fell onto the spikes, and as long as they didn't strike a dangerous place, Zane wouldn't die.

(That was good...great job, I killed two birds with one stone ^_^)
As Zane lunged, he wouldn't be able to fully stop himself, but his insticts kicked in. He twirled his body in such a way that his body was impaled only through the left shoulder and the left leg. As blood dripped unto the snow painting it red, Zane's eyes narrowed and though they were still crimson, they were noticably different. "Agh...son of a....what happened?" he cried out as he pushed himself off the spikes using his right hand. Cringing in pain he stumbled unto the ground, blood pouring out everywhere as he looked down at his body. Tatoo marks were all over him as his nails were considerably larger. His head also felt weighted as he touched the back of his head, realizing that his hair had just grown considerably. "I look like a rocker that just got shocked with an electric socket."

"You're...kidding...right?" Axel stated as he staggered to his feet. His hand held onto his forehead as his other hand clutched to his heart. "You don't remember what happened? You went full demon on all of us, beat us all half to death and Outou bailed on us like the whiny little...yeah it was just ridiculous..." Axel complained as he shrugged off the pain.

"What!? Last I remember I finished killing Zaiaku!" Zane stated as he cringed from the pain of practically being impaled. There was still another target that he needed to kill...and frankly, he wouldn't be able to do it in this condition. "So...I ended up attacking you guys huh? Sorry...I guess that pain kinda shocked me to the core. I didn't mean it...forgive?" Zane asked embarassingly as he pointed to his wounds, hoping that Axel would replenish his chakra and heal all of his wounds.

"You know...I really hate you..." Axel sighed as he went over to Zane. Granted he didn't have his full strength but it should be enough to heal Zane and the Ice kid. As he held his hands out, he began to use Chiyute as the wounds began to close up. In the meantime, Axel explained to Zane everything that had been going on while he was away and while he was in demon form. Axel's eyes furrowed as he kept full focus on trying to heal Zane.

Zane sighed as his wounds began to close up quite nicely. Granted he was still in the Mazoku form and he didn't know how to unfuse with Ezio. "So that's what happened huh...I see..." Zane stated as Axel finished the healing process. "Axel...I need you to do me a favor. That sword, the one that I brought with me, I need you to deliver it to the Otokage. It's important that you do that," Zane told him as he handed the sword to Axel. "Also...I may not live my next encounter so should anything happen to me..." Zane said as he looked away. "My will is you know where...alright little brother?" Zane asked to make sure he respected his wishes.

Axel rose up as he finished with Zane's wounds and listening to his words as well. "Got it," he stated simply as he took the sword and fastened it at his waist securely. "I'll see you in the afterlife big brother..." Axel told him as he held his arm out, motioning for Zane to bite him in order to seep out the remainder of his chakra.

Zane bit down on Axel, his fangs burrowing into his skin as he sucked the chakra right out of him. He could feel his energy returning to him, revitalized as he let go. He wiped his mouth off of the blood as he looked at his brother. "Thank you...you're a much better man than I ever was," he stated simply as he turned and walked away. "I'll see you in the afterlife little brother..." he grinned as he waved goodbye while walking away. There was one place he needed to go before doing so.

The ice barrier receded, and Hikaru looked like he was really sick, and had an extremely high fever. Obviously being in that spiked barrier of ice had quite a cold temperature to it. Hikaru's wound was still bleeding greatly, as he sheathed Kawaige with his left hand. Hikaru was barely clinging onto consciousness as the snow slightly swirled around in the form of balls of water of varying sizes. It was clear that Hikaru had just unlocked his bloodline and his control over it was unstable at best. Hikaru felt slightly disconnected from the world as if he was in some sort of dazed reverie.

Axel cringed as the fangs sunk into his arm. This was the greatest pain he had ever felt when being bitten, since Zane's fangs were as sharp as an animal. "I guess I should heal him..." Axel sighed as he struggled over to him. "Temperature control..." Axel stated as he maneuvered thrugh the water and placed his hands on his forehead, kneeling next to him. Soon, Hikaru's temperature would return to normal. "I don't have the energy to close up the wound...but I can at least stop the bleeding...blood coagulation," Axel stated as he placed his hand atop of each of the wounds, the blood coagulating to the point that they formed a scab atop of the wounds in order to stop the bleeding. This will have to do for now until Axel regains his strengths. He stumbled back on his arms and breathed heavily.

Hikaru said nothing whilst he was being healed, he had a vacant and dazed expression the entire time. Obviously the pain had made him a bit out of it, especially since he was still feeling that strange burning sensation across his chest. Hikaru looked at the ceiling, as he tried to slowly get up but only managed to collapse onto the ground, still a bit disconnected from the world. Hikaru grunted still feeling pain in his shoulder and the burning sensation on his chest was still as painful as ever as he stopped feeling disconnected. He flung the ectoplasmic-like material off of his body, throwing it at the door, which left burn marks on the door. The water stopped being manipulated and then fell to the ground, and Hikaru felt drained of chakra. Hikaru was on the brink of falling into unconsciousness and eventually he submitted to the darkness of unconsciousness.

"What a loser..." Axel sighed as he watched him merely close his eyes. He himself fell back and merely stared up at the ceiling. "Man...it's going to be weird without Zane around..." he said to himself as he closed his eyes. He wasn't sleeping, nor did he lose conciousness. He was merely focusing his body. Aiding in the recovery of it and putting all his efforts at being able to walk straight again.

Kira had been watching the whole time, watching his younger brother unlock his bloodline. When Hikaru lost consciousness, Kira appeared in the dojo, wearing his ANBU mask that hid all but his eyes, which were surprising a violet colour. "Come on brother...", Kira said as he manipulated the water to help him carry Hikaru away on a FLOATING bed of water. It was obvious that this ANBU was a Hyouton as well, and it was clear that they were both heading to the Hyouton clan district.

Axel merely stayed there as he sensed another cold presence in the room. It must have been a family member of some sort, he figured since he stopped paying attention before the anbu spoke. As he sensed both leaving the area, he was now with Kai and Estellise, two people he trusted so Axel let sleep take over and went into is dreams.
