 ~ Jasper~ Jasper's little self pity session was soon cut short by something that hit the tree, causing a large jolt to shoot through the trunk. The stream of tears instantly stopped and the small Kabuto quickly looked around for the source of the shock and soon found it to be a young Gligar, who was also crying. This fact meant nothing to Jasper as he let out a small "Eep!" and quickly scuttled to the other side of the tree, hopefully before he had been noticed. He had chosen that tree for a reason, NO ONE WAS THERE. Oh wait, no he didn't, he had chosen it because it was nearby. Well s**t.

 ChanceChance let out another little whimper when the Kabuto scuttled to the other side of the tree.
Oh no, he'd hurt his feelings!
"W-Wait!" The Gligar cried, sniffling a bit and wiping the blood from his nose.
"I-I-I'm sorry I b-burst in on you l-l-like that!"
Chance went to stand up and go to the Kabuto, but he ended up slipping.
Instead of falling right to the ground and nearly breaking his neck, he seemingly stopped in mid air.
After falling, the spike on the end of his tail and become stuck in the branch, so now Chance was just hanging there by his tail.
"B-b-b-b... I-I..." He sputtered a bit.
The Gligar let out a few sniffles before he began to cry again.

~ Jasper~ Jasper had been barely paying attention to the Gligar's apologetic whining until he realized it was futile to keep trying to hide. He slowly scuttled around the tree until he found the Gligar, crying once again, and quite stuck. A small laugh forced its way out of Jasper's mouth, the young Pokemon just looked so, pathetic! More than him, in fact. With a mental shrug, Jasper decided he may as well help the poor thing, he had only meant well after all. So the small Kabuto crawled to where the tail had been lodged into the tree and began to claw away at the bark. Soon there was nothing keeping Chance attached to the tree other than Jasper's front claws. "....There...." and he let go.

ChanceAs soon as Chance's tail was freed, he swung back up onto the branch and hugged it tightly.
He didn't want to do anymore falling today.
"Th-Thanks!" He stuttered softly, the shimmering light of the tears still glistening on his cheeks.
He sat his butt down on the branch and looked at the Kabuto.
The little guy seemed like he was distressed over something.
"M-My name's Chance... Is something wrong?" He asked as he wiped his eyes.

~ Jasper~ Jasper quietly resigned himself to a higher up branch and eyed the Gligar carefully. What did he care if something was wrong with him? They had just met! Still eying the Gligar suspiciously, Jasper responded, "No......everything is...fine." Wow, what happened? About an hour ago he had been forming complete sentences. What happened?! What was happening to him?! Arceus, everything was just so damn confusing! Why did everything have to be so damn complicated?! He hadn't realized it, but while Jasper had been going mentally insane within his own mind, several tears had welled up in his eyes and fell to the earth.

ChanceChance tilted his head to the side a little.
The Kabuto claimed everything was fine, but it sure didn't look it.
"B-But you're crying! I don't think everything's fine," The little crying hypocrite replied.
To be honest, he was just looking for a friend.
Everybody on his team was significantly older than him.
Everybody he met outside the team was some kind of manipulative b***h.
But this Kabuto had actually helped him, and now he was actually crying here in front of him.
"... Can I help?" He asked softly.
He didn't know what the problem was, he just wanted to help solve it.

~ Jasper~ As soon as the Gligar pointed it out, Jasper's eyes widened and he quickly turned to face the other way, embarrassed that he had been caught crying twice, by the same person. He considered the young Pokemon's offer for a bit. Could he help? No, Jasper didn't think he could, ".......No....I don't....I don't think you can." Jasper needed to figure this out himself, right? Weren't these sort of things supposed to be dealt with by yourself, and without the interference of others? Well that's what the world had taught him so far. Although he couldn't help but question if that was correct.

ChanceThe Gligar sighed a bit, looking down sullenly.
No way for him to help...
There never was...
Chance had been dealing with some angst issues of his own lately.
He was useless.
"R-Really? That's... too bad..." He said very quietly, almost in a whimpering whisper.
"I just wanna help... someone... for once..."
He began to gouge at the bark beneath him with his claw, idly drilling a little hole into it for no reason.
In other rescue teams, Gligar and Gliscor were considered luxury members.
They were often considered very useful and helpful in a tight spot.
Chance was nothing like that.
He was a coward, and a loser who never did anything right.
The only thing he was good at was apologizing for ******** things up.
He was used to it, and practice makes perfect...

~ Jasper~ Jasper's gaze softened as the Gligar spoke. It seemed as if he was sincere in his wanting to help, looks like not all people displayed kindness like Tolin. "Maybe........maybe you can..." Jasper supposed that he may as well allow the Gligar to try and help, he saw alot of himself in the equally young pokemon. "I need..." Jasper let the thought trail off into oblivion. What exactly did he need? He needed something that could get his mind off of the changes going on inside him. Something distracting enough that he wouldn't be upset any more. What were those things called again? Oh right, a distraction. "I need a.... a distraction..." Jasper found it odd that the Gligar had stopped crying, especially after what he said. He hoped that his suggestion would help.

ChanceChance looked up, a little smile on his face.
His trademark Gligar tongue was hanging out.
"Really? So... you want to just do something!" He exclaimed, flicking a bit of bark from his claw.
"I-I don't have anything going on, so I can do something with you if you want!"
Finally, a chance to make a real friend!
"I've been reading up and stuff on fun things to do in the kingdom..."
Suddenly, he blushed a bit.
"I'm not a total bookworm or nothing! I just have nothing better to do..."
Wow, Chance.
Way to seem like a spazz in front of a potential new friend.

~ Jasper~ Jasper mouth formed a small smile under his shell. He couldn't help but laugh a bit at the Gligar's embarrassed ramblings, he was very self conscious wasn't he? Well, now that he had someone to help, Jasper needed to solve his own problem. So he may as well see what this Gligar knew. "Okay.........where?" What was the worst that could happen?

ChanceThe Gligar thought nervously to himself.
What to say, what to say?!
"Uhm, well, there are a few restaurants, and I know there's like, a dance club..." He said.
Suddenly, he realized what he was saying made him sound like he was asking the Kabuto out on a date.
"Uh,. I mean, uh...!"
He face went bright red, and he tried to cover it with his claws.
"That soooo didn't come out right... Did I say come out?! I, uh... UMMMMM..."

~ Jasper~ Jasper listened intently as the Gligar listed off the possible getaways. "How about...that...dance club?" Jasper had never heard of a dance club, but it sure sounded interesting. At the small spazz out, Jasper raised his eyebrow, not entirely sure what was going on in the Gligar's head. What was wrong with "come out"? Shrugging slightly he scuttled off of his tree branch perch and onto the Gligar's back. "Um....lead the...way?" He didn't want to sound pushy. Definitely not the best way to make a first impression.

ChanceChance blinked a couple times as he suddenly obtained a living backpack.
"Well, uh, let's go!" He said.
The Pokemon then began to climb up to the top of the tree.
He didn't need to glide, but... He felt the need to.
Basically, without knowing it, he wanted to show off.
"Hold on!" He said as he leaped off the tree and caught a breeze.
With the Kabuto... who's name he knew not... on his back, he seemed to glide a lot better.
With a cheerful laugh, he glided up and over the guild and into the kingdom.

With a sigh Raven entered the unfamiliar surroundings of the Courtyard hand-in-hand with his love. It was brought to his attention recently that he needed to get out more and considering their favorite spot was now tied to a very traumatic event where they were now seemed the second best option. A boring, old garden was hardly anything in comparison to a hot spring. Hell, here he couldn't even strip without getting weird looks. Not that he had intentions of trying just yet...
