"As a matter of fact, no I did not pay attention to the architecture of the village during the Cloverfield attack, nor am I a native of Sunagakure. I was born a few miles away from here, and the sandstorms there are just as deadly as they are here yet we have managed to survive just fine with the type of construction that I mentioned. And as for a waste of materials - your way is actually the more wasteful, considering that I said that water could be used to help cooling the building, not that it was something that must be done. And I'll admit that I did forget to mention a second, baffled layer of stone and wood to surround the main walls to prevent sand from getting into the building." He shrugged his shoulders.
"But I am not here to discuss construction styles. I am here to rebuild this location so that others might learn in it." He turned his back to her and began picking up slabs of stone and setting them into place - out of a concession to what was according to Marlene the normal Suna style, the floor was laid out in a circular fashion. He trudged over to the Ramen stand long enough to grab the trough of mortar that he had been using and dragged it back to the Academy, grumbling under his breath about the holes in the street. He used the mortar to seal the stones together, then set to work on the walls - these he made in a combination of the two fashions, circular with gaps above the floor and under the ceiling. This took him a fair while, but he eventually finished. He then made the second layer of walls that he had talked about - wood and stone, set so that they were also in a circle, with the wood on the inside and the stone as the outside layer. Humoring the girl's imperious words, he set the mortar on the outside layer of stones.
Next came the roof - and this didn't take him long at all. Making it arch over both sets of walls in such a way that it didn't touch the inner one but did connect to the outer was a bit tricky until he realized he just needed to set the inner support beams higher and curve the wood.
When he finished, the sun had passed its apex. The new Academy compound was approximately a third larger than the old one. The construction was a combination of the methods both he and the girl had mentioned, melding the best of both styles. Karo hopped down from the wall and landed in the sand beside her.
"Good day Mars. I'm going to report our completion of the rebuilding of the Academy." He bowed to the girl who wanted to be known as a male, then jumped back onto the roof tops to head to the Kazekage's Tower.
(Complete. Ugh.) ...that the Bone King is coming for their lives! Chakra Points: 18 (Academy Level : 15 + Bloodline Modifier +3/10 points)

When Karo had bid his goodbye, Mars turned and inspected the building from her position. "Well, it stands, at least." She spoke, neither impressed or disappointed at the end result. Her own work done, Marlene turned and left the area, the school clean of debris and her body ready for a proper work out to stretch her muscles.

Bel walked into the academy building with a look of utmost pride upon his face. He was confident that he would excel to chuunin in no time. He was confident, but he was not stupid, however. He wouldn't be the one to just try and skip the academy, thinking he was some sort of godly being.
Bel walked into the class and scanned the room for a teacher. He wanted to learn jutsu, and he wanted to blaze through it so he could rank up and go on adventures.
He was a very adventurous boy. His one true love in life was adventure. This was mostly due to his endless supply of curiosity. It was a constant source of trouble for Bel, as he was always the one to wander off towards restricted area's or to try and enter the most dangerous places, just to see what was inside.
Being an orphan, he hadn't ever had anyone to keep his curiosity in check, or to teach him many things, which is why he is so adventurous.
"Uhmmm..... Hello? Is there anyone here who can teach me?" Bel said, his eyes, a vivid yellow, scanning the room for any signs of life at all.

Tsuneo walked down the street and finally seen the academy. His hood covered all but his mouth which had a huge smile on it. Walking up to the door he opened it and began down the hall way looking for a teacher all he could see was a group of people. He then heard someone calling for a teacher. 'Well if that person is looking I should stay near them' he though as he turned to the area the sound was coming from and walked into the room he did not say thing to the person as he did not like to get into a friendship even if he knew the person like the back of his katana which was place on his left side of his waist along with his dagger that was place on his right side of his waist.

Sora walked into the Academy, looking at the piece of paper in her hand. She needed to help teach some academy students... as lame as that sounded. And, well... she was a genin. Technically, she shouldnʻt be here at all. But, seeing as she was a medical shinobi and she knew just enough basic techniques to help get them passed the basic jutsu, she could do... something? As soon as she walked into the room, she felt herself nearly drop the paper and groan. Gah, who was she kidding? She couldnʻt teach anybody anything as a genin! It was against the rules.... against the rules!
She walked up to a young blonde boy and sat down on a desk next to him, placing a bright smile on her face. "Ohayoo, welcome to the Academy." She said quietly, nodding in the direction of both of the students. "My name is Sora, and Iʻm a Genin. Iʻll try to teach you what I know, although it is kind of... futile, should I say?" The lavender haired girl sighed quietly. "Weʻre kind of short-handed right now... so um... This is the best youʻre going to get for a while. Forgive me..." She whispered.
"So um... why donʻt we do some introductions? Who you are, what makes you special, why you want to be a shinobi, what you like and dislike, all that!" She asked, looking at the blonde boy to start.

Belisarius looked up to see a lavender haired girl walk in with some papers. He waited for her to finish up and walk over there, even though it was killing him to sit still and not bombard her with questions. Finally, she finished and stated her intentions.
Bel looked directly into her eyes, never being the kind of guy to shy away. "I'm Belisarius Roman, but I prefer Bel. What makes me special is my luck. Wherever I go, good things happen to me. I love adventures. I hope to become a saanin one day so I can travel the world and find all of its mysteries. I hate sitting still." Bel answered simply, his words flowing quickly from his lips, flowing into almost one word. He was excited to get started, although he was excited to do just about anything.
"So what are you going to teach us Lavvy?" He asked, with a look of utmost curiosity painting his features. He didn't know the womans name, so he named her after her hair. Even if she corrected him, that would porbably be the name that stuck in his mind. His vivid yellow eyes sparkled as he stared at the woman, awaiting her answer.

L-Lavvy....? The name seemed to perturb Sora a little bit, but she just laughed it off and smiled all the same. "I donʻt mind you calling me that, Bel, but just remember that my name is Sora, okay?" She whispered quietly, her eyes twinkling slightly with amusement. Something about this boy seemed so oddly familiar... so, so familiar... yet she couldnʻt place her finger on it.
"Do you have parents, Bel?" Sora asked quietly. She, of all people, understood that there were many shinobi in the world who were orphaned at birth or at a very young age. But the question just came out. She just had to know if the child was like her or not. If Bel was nothing like her, sheʻd have a harder time connecting with him and being able to teach him anything.
"I think Iʻm gonna start by teaching you some taijutsu... but Iʻm more of a precision-based taijutsu user, not brute force." The lavender haired girl sighed, closing her aquamarine eyes for a moment before opening them again to meet the yellow irises of the boy next to her. Perhaps the Kazekage would reprimand her later on for being a nuisance and trying to help out... but they were so under-worked right now that she just had to step it up! For everybody, for Bel, for David... for Tanzu, too.

Bel quirked his head curiously as she explained that her name wasn't Lavvy. "Sora? I like Lavvy better." Bel explained with a fox eyed grin.
Bel stood up and sat down, trying to work out his jitteriness, He really couldn't sit still for more thna a minute or two.
Bel looked directly into her eyes, with a look of poure curiosity within them. "Parents? Nope. They died before I could remember their faces." Bel answered just as cheerily as anything else he might say. Having never felt the love of parents, it didn't bother him a single bit being asked about it. It was one of the things that set him apart from most. He never dwelled on things that could not be changed. He knew that it was odd to live on your own at his age, but it never bothered him. Even among the orphans of sunagakure, they usually lived within an orphanage. Bel was not one of those children. He would never allow himself to be cooped up in an orphanage.
His eyes lit back up as she mentioned trainign again. "Oooh! Please?! I wanna learn taijutsu! Lets go , lets go, lets go!" He said excitedly, dopgging her to start the training. he was tired of sitting already. [[Are youa ctually aloud to teach us? XD]]

((Technically yes, but at the same time no. By rules of logic, yes she CAN teach you because shes genin and you're an academy student, but I think by POTS rules you can only start teaching at chuunin.))

"Then Iʻm going to call you... Kiiro, alright?" Sora said quietly. Kiiro in Japanese meant "yellow", just like the boyʻs hair color. If he was going to call her Lavvy, she got to call him Kiiro - it was only fair!
"Iʻm sorry to hear about that..." Sora whispered when she found out that Bel was orphaned before he could even remember his parents. "Iʻm an orphan myself, so I can relate. Never been in an orphanage, though... just kinda lived on the streets ʻtil I could apply for an apartment." Sora was proud of that aspect of herself. Most kids would have gone to an orphanage to rot, but Sora stuck it out on the streets. But she didnʻt boast about it, usually. It would just lead others to believe that she was a street rat, when she really wasnʻt.
At the boyʻs sudden outburst of excitement about training, Sora stood up from the desk with a slight reassuring nod before holding out her hand to the boy. "Letʻs go to the training facility, then. Perhaps we can find somebody who can help us there, ne?"
