"No, but thank you." Kaok nodded at Vii. She glanced at the food, which indeed looked delicious, but she didn't feel she should eat just yet (what with those butterflies already occupying her stomach)... lest she regret it later.

Bastion was perplexed at what to do. "Inhale it, then exhale it, dum dum!""I know what to do! Shush!" Bastion brought the hose to his mouth and slowly inhaled, taking in the scent and flavor of the herbs. He felt weightless and a tingly sensation throughout his body. Bastion exhaled and felt most of his fatigue leave him. "Wow, this stuff is great..." He repeated a few more time, taking it easy. He watched Kaokie and Remus as he relaxed, waiting for Vii to come back.

Question's phone rang, so he answered it. "Yes? What's the current status?... They've gotten that far!? Grab a damn weapon and start shooting them!... What do you mean, you don't see any!? HALF OF THE FACILITY IS DEVOTED TO CREATING WEAPONS! Just get railguns to the rest of the security force and kill those damn monsters!... I don't care if you might damage the Warpgate! JUST DESTROY THOSE ******** DEMONS ALREADY!" Question hung up his phone in a rage, took a deep breath, and regained his composure.
"I'd like a beer."

Vii nodded and walked back to where she had been, handing the Doctor a Beer on her way by.
"Sound's like you could use a hit or two as well. Would you like to join us?" She said softly pointing to the unoccupied hose laying on the table in front of Sku-Bastion, as it seemed.
Standing some distance from the table, partially to check the status of the coals, Vii smiled, wondering what effect her concoction might be having on him.

Question chugged the beer and slammed the bottle on the counter, stressed. "Nah, I'd rather not. I'd do that if I was currently fighting my inner demons, but since these demons aren't inside me, I need to remain at my prime."
Question got up, payed a few coins, and left the tavern.

"He...Hey..Vii," Bastion sputtered out, "I feel great!" Bastion fell over from his balance being whacked out from the smoke. He wasn't used to this type of...'treatment.' He got back up, "I'm.....I'm...I'm ok...." and sat back down, more securely, "thanks Vii, byes Q."

"Good, to hear. I wasn't sure you'd be able to handle it, I can't say I understand the part about your Lycan powers so I wasn't sure if there would be any strange side-effects." She looked at him with interest, taking another long puff herself. She was so glad that being a vampire didn't completely ruin this human experience she'd always loved. It didn't feel the same, not better or worse, just different and not as long lasting.

"Well," Bastion started, "this is actually....my, first....time." He manage to sputter out the rest of the sentence before coughing a bit. "I'm fine," he said through the coughs, "I'm just new to this, so that may be why I cannot handle like you..."

"It's probably because I'm not technically alive, so I don't think some of the mechanics are quite the same." Vii giggled, remembering the moment her heart stopped beating with absolute clarity. When Bastion started coughing Vii went to the bar and returned with a tall glass of milk.
"This will make you impervious to coughing. Sorry about that. First time, eh? What about vampire's blood? Have you ever had that before?" She smirked at him while inhaling again.

"I can't say I have," Bastion replied taking the milk, "thank you for the milk." He took a drink of it and felt the coughing fits going away, "wow, that's nice, but the vampire's blood, no, never had a supply of it anyways where I from."

"There are no vampires where you are from?" she asked, hardly believing that vampires didn't exist somewhere and wondering if it was because they couldn't exist there.
Exhaling again, glancing over her shoulder to see if Regal was awake to have some of the Hookah smoke as well.
"How about now? How does it feel now?" The little vampire burst into a fit of giggles looking to the bar where the glass had once been, but no longer was.
