. . Today, we were having a meeting on the 'pony' in the middle of our turf, and looking at our drill books. Our BD called them hymnals. Dx
My friends and I were talking at the end of the forty yardline, where we were lined up before doing our Physical Training, and our BD seems to always overhear us. D= Last week, my friend was tying her shoe and my sister claimed it looked like she was proposing. Our normally stoic BD nearly laughed. at. us.
And just yesterday, we were tuning, and our top BD asks our other BD, "Should we tune to 442 instead of 440?" The other replies, "Sure, or we could go to 444," and he rambles off a whole bunch of reasons. Our top BD seems to contemplate it for a moment, then dismisses him. "Stop being such a purist!" o.o We didn't really get it. s n o w

Hrm...
Hartmetz: Now I want three lines. One by the activity bus, one by the normal bus, and one by the virtual bus.
The chaperones will check you off and you get on the bus...except for the virtual bus...you just stay in the line.

There are two girls with nick names our director gave them. One is called Bus and the other is called ocean and both or them play the flute. We were rehearsing and they were too close so she says,
"Oh my God, the Bus is in the Ocean"

Vaden: yeah a trailer. They're gonna be like OK Mr. Buley, lets go load the trailer!
Buley: we don't have one guys.
Vaden: oh s**te!
(after today's contest where the announcer
announced our show as "Tango Erotica"
instead of "Tango EXOTICA")

We were learning a stand song called Pep Chant. There's version where we do it at half-speed, to give it kind of a dirty/rock feel. Our Band Director tried to explain it.
BD- "It's like a good strip-tease, slow and dirty,"
We're still laughing about it.

We we're practicing our marching and our horn levels aren't right, my band director'll say 'The worms don't care!'
He also always says 'Cool Beans!' and instead of saying 'memorize' he says 'mezmorize'(don't think I spelled it right)

oh my. my band teacher messes up when he talks a lot so there's a lot of funny moments. he'll use 'are' when he has to use 'is' so all the honor english class kids get all pissed off.
it's the best.

One time my friends and I were helping Mr. S (BD) with something, and my friend said, "The sidewalk is really hot." Then Mr. S said, "Your mom's hot!"
Another time some of my other friends were working on homework, and my friend said, "This is evil." Then our Mr. S replied," YOUR EVIL!! YOUR MOM's EVIL!."
I was getting chairs for ever one to sit down in while we were getting ready to work on a project and Mr. S said to me "I don't care what every one else says Lauren (that's my name), I think your a really nice girl."
Sometimes when Mr. S is working on the computer or well pretty much anything he'll start sing opera really loud. Well we started standing outside of his office listening to him sing. And then he yelled, "Don't you kids have anything better to do then stand around and laugh at me?"
That's all I can think of right now.

We where getting ready for state finals and it was snowing outside, a really early snow, we where all freezing, and when 150 teens are together freezing, there's bound to be a lot of complaining. Everyone kept saying how cold it was and how we wanted to go home while we were tuning.
BD got sick of it. He called us all to attention and proceeded to strip down to his long underwear. In front of us, all the other schools, and the interstate we were warming up in front of. Then at the top of his lungs he yelled "There I'm colder than all of you now! And I better not hear any complaining!" Then he realized how retarded he looked and busted out laughing.
