((....fine.)) Kal glared angerly at Laren, then quicky began to head on his way back. He wasn't going to be greatly helpful with carrying things out, and his cloak had been taken from him anyway. His words fell on deaf and dumb ears. He needed to get up and out of the cave.

((Well here goes, sorry if this messes us all up,but it should just affect Selce.))
Selce felt something different in the chamber now that the shield was down. The Eye had something to do with it she surmised. "I shall carry the Eye as long as we can leave now." She said and moved toward the Eye. She used two more ENCHANT WEAPON spells on Erron's bracers and Tjaden's sword.
As the magical glow enveloped the weapons, she looked into the magical orb. She bent down to pick it up and despite all thoughts otherwise channeled some of her energy into the Eye. She could still feel something different but she couldn't tell what yet. "Can we go now?" She asked hoping what she had done wouldn't cause anything horrible.

As Selce glanced at the Eye, a sudden twinge tugged at her, pulling on the very strings of her spirit. To her, it felt as though she were being torn apart and then sewn back together all at once. This distressing sensation passed as quickly as it had arrived, but then, suddenly she felt a rush of cold air as if blowing straight into her veins.
Selce's eyes opened then but before her was not the tomb that she had been standing moments before, but atop an enormous mountain peak. Beneath her was an endless void covered in naught but flames and in the void she saw him.
The Destroyer.
The titanic dragon gazed upon her curiously, though he made no hostile movements towards the wizardess. He simply grinned, revealing a maw of razor fangs that each could impale a horse in their own right.
Selce could barely stand in the presence of such a terrifying force. She fell from the mountaintop and began falling several leagues very quickly until she was shaken from her trance by Erron.
Selce's Familiar has learned a new ability: Astral Form! It now recovers health over time while it is out of the physical realm.

Tjaden frowned as Selce practically jumped onto the orb. However, she seemed unaffected, so he merely took the offered cloak and cast it over the orb as Selce was holding it. Then he turned and left the room. On his way out he considered picking up the crushed dwarf in his arms. Since Selce had taken the orb, Tjaden figured he would not laden another with the body of their comrade. "Kal, if you still wish to carry the dwarf, I will help you. Though, if you wish, I could do it alone..." Tjaden would not disrespect his ally by taking on a responsibility that the halfling had specifically asked for.
He made sure not to stray too far ahead of the others, but certainly in the way he moved, urged them on till they were out of the tomb.

Screaming and shouting all around him. The load noises of excitement beat down on his ear drum as the orc roared at the top of his lungs. He had been bashing at the wooden cage the entire trip into the city but nothing had been working. It also didn't help that he was tied together at his ankles and also at his wrists. He squirmed about angrily growling and occasionally roaring at the humans parading around the cage that he was being held in. The damned thing was so small he couldn't even stand up straight on his knees and he could barely stretch all the way out. Two handles protruding out the back and front, each held by an expressionless guard, held him above the crowds as he was carried through the streets of the city. These disgusting humans had caught him camping out in the wilderness sleeping. By the time he awoke to their clumsy movement through the brush they already had his camp site surrounded. He hadn't enough to time to get a good strike at more than two of them then before he knew it they had him pinned to the ground and loaded into this contraption. Men glared at him with smug looks on their face. Women happily stared forward as if he was some kind of animal meant for a feast that need not any attention. Even the children were mocking him, riding on their mother's shoulders as they made faces at him. He turned his head the other way only to see a child stick its tongue out at him. He promptly responded by roaring "I will eat you" in the old language of his people. It wasn't but a few more minutes before he gave up hope. He lay helpless in this cage thinking of how shameful his death would be. He never even had a chance to try and defend himself or die in battle like he had wished he would someday die. No, instead he would be slaughtered like some kind of....animal......he sighed then grunted softly as he the deafening roar of the crowd continued.

Kal turned on the ball of his feet and nodded to Tjaden. Going against everything his mind said, and fighting his hands' natural habits.... he picked up the feet, leaving the top for Tjaden to get. Believe it or not, something in Kal was been affected by these people. Tjaden in particular. He helped Tjaden take the heavier-than-first-thought dwarf from the cave. Kal acknowledged the fact of the dwarf saving their lives, by sacrificing his own, for the first time as he helped Tjaden carry him out. Kal held the body in pride, proud to have fought beside him. This man would've been a great man to get close to, yet.....Kal had not even had one conversation with the sacrificial martyr.
Kal was silent the rest of the trip out of the cave.

Erron was a disquieted by what had happened back at the chamber with Selce, she had seemingly fallen into a trance and towards the end she had started screaming in terror and tears began to stream from her eyes, "What did she see?" he wondered to himself, he and Laren had taken point with Selce immediately behind them and a bit further behind Kal and Tjaden carried Ronus, they had made their way out of the chamber of the dragon eye without incident and swiftly gathered Ronus and his Warhammer and put him to rest, the cavernous rooms seemed literally as silent as the grave, it seemed that whatever power the Dragon Eye had over the hallowed halls they roamed had dissipated, he doubted that any more undead would come from the Tomb henceforth but to be sure as they left the stairway and entered the original tomb once again he shut the dragon door behind them to serve as a warning to whatever adventurers may wander this way in search of treasure of what had happened here. and continued along the way back and out into the world of the living. How long they had been inside they did not yet know.

The time is now 10:00 a.m. on the 16th of Autumn's Grace
A full day had passed since the party had entered the Tomb of the Drake, and the group was nearing exhaustion, though they still had enough energy to bury their former friend, Ronus, and make their way back into the city proper.
When arriving in the Market District, a strange display was afoot. An orc was being held in a cage on top of a large wooden central platform. A crowd had gathered, jeering and carrying on, shouting out things such as: "Burn him!" "Kill the beast!" "Death to the greenskin!"
As the group neared the spectacle, the prosecutor stepped forward on the platform, speaking above the crowd's continuous shouts.
"This orc has been charged as a criminal of war, slaying many of our scouts and caravan traders who have been simply en route to their next destination. This beast has slaughtered many innocent lives in a brazen display of nothing more than savagery and feral contempt. Women and children have died at his hand-"
"That is a lie!", the orcish warrior roared from his cage.
"-And continues to claim innocence! His sentence is to be burned at the stake for his crimes, in addition to serving as a warning to all the greenskin folk to know well that the divine justice of Haven will seek them out wherever they hide!"
With that, the crowd went berserk with cheers. Something about this trial was false, there was more fear-mongering than anything in this situation. Something would need to be done, or this orc would be executed without a second thought.

Erron stopped the party behind the crowd he stared hard at the scene and his eyes focused contemptuously not at the warrior but at the prosecutor, this was not justice, this was a witch hunt, and a dishonorable one at that. Whether or not the crimes had been committed he cared not: This was public murder. he touched Selce's hand to get her attention and stopped Tjaden, he did not know if Kal or Laren would put any stake into this situation but he intended to find out what was at the bottom of this seemingly orchestrated race warfare.
He spoke only so loud that only the band of companions would hear him. "Selce, do you have any spells to create illusions or to create blinding light? I do not think we will be able to handle this situation without a distraction of some sort."

Laren looked at the spectacle somberly, viewing the rage and fear of the humans and remembering why she had become a gaurdion of the forests in the first place. When it became clear the Erron meant to interfer, the elf looked at him and said calmly, "Many roads diverge here Monk. Think carefully about what your about to do. Consider all the possable routes that can be taken. Choose wrongly and an innocent may die or we may lose our friendship of Haven. Whatever you choose however, know that I run rather swiftly."
As if to emphasis Laren's point Zues swooped down and landed on the ranger's outstreched arm and gave a squack.

Kal grinned lightly and attempted to dissipate into the crowd, vanishing amongst them. He needed to get away from the group and find a beggar. He would get back to the Thieves Guild.

As Kal attempted to disperse from the scene, more and more citizens entered the area and essentially walled off any passage from the plaza. It seems Fate wants all of the party to remain together until this spectacle is over.

((Waiting on Zero and Kara))
Errons eyes flicked around the setting, Laren's words struck true even though he did not intend to hurt any civilians, if he could find a way to falsify the death of the Orc, scare away the mob or to at least have him taken off the stake the situation would be vastly improved, he knew that the Paralyzing Palm technique he knew would not kill the captured warrior and would for all points and purposes satisfy the crowd enough to take him off the stake, but it was a very risky prospect if they did not allow him to "kill" him hand to hand.

(Summon hobgoblin or make mirror images so we can grab the orc when a group of them appear...?)) Selce frowned. "Not in particular, I could summon a hobgoblin to distract the crowd though." She said sifting through the remains of what spells she had readied for the Tomb. "Or perhaps create a couple mirror images of the Orc?" She asked.

Tjaden stood in horror at the sight outside. They were not just creating an affront to justice with this summary execution, but they were stealing the Orc's honour by putting him to death like a caged animal. Tjaden put down his load and made for the platform through the crowd. When he neared, he attempted to mount the platform crying. "This is not justice! This is an act of cowardice! I demand to know by whose authority you are willing to execute this man and why there has been no trial!" Tjaden's Orcish baritone roared at its loudest. Hoarse though he was from the strenuous battle in the cavernous crypt below, his voice was steadied by his duty and need for justice. He drew no weapon, but would not stand down.
