pyroknight1 Alexander nodded. "I know..." Allen started eating slowly, not really thinking still. Melonie smiled at him. "Well now we can pick up where we left off! I mean, nothing can bring back time, but we can always try and get back to it" she said rather hopefully.

"Hm... I know what'll fix ya up." He grinned and scanned the bar for the waitress. "Hey, Beatrice! Get this kid a jug of Pixie Punch." Max ordered. The waitress smiled. "Coming right up."

Allen caught the pixie punch comment, and looked up, a little suspicious.
Alexander nodded. "Your right." he said, right before picking her up, and throwing her back into the water.

The waitress came by with a clear glass bottle. Inside was a glowing orange liquid. Max poured some for himself and some for Allen.
"Drink up, boy. This stuff ain't cheap." Max said with a wink and held up his cup. "Cheers. To a new beginning."

Allen took the cup, and sniffed it, suspicious. taking a small sip, he wasnt sure what this stuff was. watching Max, Allen wasmt sure of the stuff yet.

Max drank his mug of juice in one go. He then put the mug down on the counter with a slight bang. He then smiled. "That stuff's great. How are you feeling now?" Max asked Allen.
[[It's a drink that makes the drinker happy for a while. ^.^ Max takes it a lot because people piss him off. xD"

Allen was a little surprised by the effect it had on Allen. drinking some more, he felt himself becoming strangly happy, and was forced to like it. he didnt like that... but he did.

"Well that's good then. Come on, it's getting late, let's get back to the inn." Max said as he got up. He placed some money on the counter and waited for Allen.

Allen followed him quietly, his bare feet making no noise as they walked, even though they were bloody again.

Max saw the blood. "Hey! Why didn't you tell me your feet were hurting?" Max asked, grinning. He picked up the boy in his arms and kept on walking to the inn.

"Because it didnt matter." Allen said simply. the pain seemed insignificant now...
Alexander grinned. "What?" He said right before his shards blocked again. the control was impressive, the movments of the shards calculated, to make spectacularly hypnotic patterns as they moved.

Max looked at the boy as if he was looking at a madman. He kicked the door to their inn room open and laid Allen on the bed. He then laid down on his own bed.
