Hi I'm Black_Allis, just Allis is fine =) I've never taken art classes but I like experimenting with new art mediums. At the moment I'm using a tablet for digital art, I like to learn from other people and try new things. I mainly draw in manga style but I want to try doing more realistic stuff too. I'm not too clear on how to set up commissions, so if anyone has any advice let me know>_< check out my deviant art if you want- http://cherripuff.deviantart.com/here's an example of my art (I suck at anatomy but I'm working on it)

Why I want to join C&F Guild: A passion in art, etc?
Firstly Hiya, I'm Nyx (or Bailey as mentioned above).
I mostly wanted to join because I am a self proclaimed artist with a passion for art. I wanted to find a community outside of dA where I could just talk to other artists find tips and maybe even be able to give some advice.
For a little perspective on my art I have been drawing for a long long time on and off since a young age but I always did things in a more cartoon or eventually anime manner. It was my interest in expanding past that which pushed my decision to move in with my mom where I would have the opportunity to take my first ever art class.
That was my last school year I currently take AP Art 20, however the workload is more than I can handle with the rest of my coursework (Due to this I am likely to switch into regular next year). I unfortunately am unable to share anything I make for Art class this year as I am not allowed to have any of the art that may go in my portfolio go online.
Oh! I also take photography at school and am somewhat of a photographer.

My current art sites are holding little interest and I wanted to check out some of the work the artists here on Gaia have to offer. I'm a bit of an all around artist or trying to be I should say. I mainly do character designs (both traditional and digital), graphic design, and video editing such as AMV's, demo reels for portfolios, and a couple of other things I'm still working on improving. I studied two years at ITT Tech in Visual Communications, and am currently looking for my next school. It was very interesting, but there's still a lot more I can learn and am looking to improve my work.
