"Yes sir." he turned to Smith and said. "I need you to draw one of the wraiths fire. Stay at least 15 feet away but within 25. It will only use it guns and not the huge s**t that will kill you. Dodgeing the turret fire is simple. Just sweve back and forth. They will miss. While your doing that Machello will be giveing you cover fire. As you two do that I will sneak up on the side of th Wraith and fight the elite inside.. Understoond?"

Irika kristi smiled and opened a private com to Mathias, "Mathias those grunts cant hendle it, any ideas?" Mathias responded promptly to Kristi's com, through the same private line. 'On the contrary Kristi, from up here they seem to be doing damn fine work. Though ill admit they are beginning to lose formation. Im sending in the Scorpion in a moment, i'd advise any of the marines around you to try and keep clear of any Wraith's because that scorpion is gonna blow the hell out of them before they can get too close in range to lob those plasma mortars into the base...'Mathias turned his head to look down at the Scorpion, then said over the radio to the Scorpion driver, 'Alright boys, head in now, watch out for friendlies, and focus your shots on the closer wraiths, take out any infantry as well. Keep your distance as well. Over.'There was a simple response of the sand colored tank moving forward into a defensive firing position. The tank gunner was quick to make a lock on a enemy wraith because within a few moments the thunder of the main turret rumbled the ground beneath and rattle his ears..."One less of those damn purple things."

Mendez looked over at one of the Wraiths and saw it suddenly explode. "What the hell was that?" He looked behind him and saw a Scorpion rumbling up the hill. "Marines! Get out of it's way!" The marines scattered for cover and quickly took up firing positions. "Now that that's settled...I can deal with these covenant."

Silver streaks of Grey started to apper as the Pelican's started their final approch. The under jets of their engines swept the grass like dirt. They landed about 50 feet away from the Butte.
Ok boys, your ride is here. I need the commanding officers on board. Load up all equipment and get ready to go. All Marines line up in ranks infront of the Pelicans. We need to read off the chart of units to leave for the Dust off. Some of you will be staying here. Thats all for now.

Sengent Jenkins heard the latest order. He "Strateglicly Retreatd back to where dust off was sitting. AKA, he fired a few more bursts in to the oncomeing horde and ran like a ******** over to where the pelican where sitting. He saluted to sweatdrop > "Sir, We have less that two hours left before this thing blows...and i think unless we leave all but the vehicles and men, we wont make it outa here alive" He showed the papers where he hade made the calculations. "Sergent Tyrone checked the over as well Sir"

Attention all CO's. This is Captain Resnick. Due to the massive strike on the Armengald, we will NOT retreat the units back onto the Armengald. Insted, you units will move into Halo and discover more about it. Supplies and ammunition will be following the dust off of the wounded.
On another note, due to some changes in the ranking system, CO's might take command from the Captain of the Titan. Further news will follow when new data is obtained.
Good luck troops. CO's take those order's out double time. MOVE OUT!

The Pelicans roared to life and flew off with the wounded.
((This is a note to all, All units are to start moving off of the butte and start heading east. Another Group of Marines have secure a small structure which leads into the depths of Halo. All CO's must carry this order out. ))
