The Chauffeur's eyes followed Star as he landed, noticing the damage he had done to his arm. Now, he claims he can't cast spells as often, but never assume, Charlie-boy; makes an a** out of you and me.
"Very well," Charles said, shifting to an attacking stance with his scythe's blade facing towards the ground. "Lemme see your melee in action."

Ryuukei sat back in the stands of the arena, not devoting his full attention to anything in particular. He seemed more prone to spacing out than to actually focusing on things. He had removed his sheathed sword from his belt sash and laid it across his lap, leaning back against the stand behind him for support.

Kura slowly walked in his eyes examining slowly. He was to fight today, but unfortunately, it seemed his opponent wasn't there...neither was a judge. He turned his head and let out a slow breath. Not a sigh. No emotion showed on his face. Not a smile, not anger, it seemed more like a simple lack of expression. He stood, his long white hair flowing behind him, and his golden eyes staring in silence.
He and that man...who was it Soulen? Were to fight today. Kura slowly walked to the ring and stopped, he now looked to see if it was occupied by anyone. He didn't want to disturb a fight already in session. Kura's body was set there, muscles slightly exposed. His shirt unbuttoned to flap slightly, like his cloak was working on. His boots didn't even shift, his pants fitting well on his body for movement and ability...

"Glad to see you're not entirely off your rocker" Came a familiar voice from the stands, directed to Kura. Jay would drop down and walk to the arena, saying "No longer thinking of comitting suicide?" He asked with a grin as he gave Kura a pat on the shoulder and said "Who ya fighting today?"

Kura didn't even flinch. He didn't even seem to really care Jay was there. He simply said "Soulen..." His golden eyes searching before he stepped to the arena. His golden eyes scanning around as he walked forward slowly. He wanted to get this over...His mind wasn't fully there, and he had developed something like a mental issue. It was common in schizophrenia, but he had no such disorder. He was a sociopath with a flat affect. He held no emotion on his face making him even more dangerous, since he now held no conscience.
A man dangerous with speed and finesse, yet holding onto no conscience, with remorse lacking, as well as caring. Maybe he did still care, for something, someone, but he wasn't showing it, not even to Jay, the only man he trusted any longer...

"Ah" He said with a nod, then shook his head and said "Never heard of him" He would give a chuckle and say "Well, I'll be rooting for you if he shows up" Jay said, noticing that Kura wasn't his usual self. He would frown and watch him take a step forward before saying "Everything okay?"

Kura stared out still, where was that opponent? He should have been there right? Kura simply blinked, still no emotion appearing upon his face. It was as if something...wasn't connecting up top. Something to show emotion...or to even feel emotion. He wasn't a killer...nothing like that. He just...didn't have a conscience any longer. He didn't feel remorse. Pain didn't matter to him, and death was a trivality. He was something without fear now. He had lost what he feared to lose...and now here he was.
With that fear removed maybe he was stronger...maybe not. Whatever it was...he was something different. Inside his words and mind he was Kurayami Odokemono always, but in the man that stood there...he simply seemed different. "Nothing is wrong Jay...In fact it seems more right now..."

"You sure?" He asked, looking with concern at his teacher and friend. Ever since Kura tried to commit suicide he'd been acting strange...stranger than usual. He no longer contained the infinite insight of the world, and this worried him since it was normal for Kura to burst out with tidbits of wisdom from time to time.
Not really wanting to antagonize him, he would say "Good luck then." As he then turned to depart.

*spins his sword in his hand then catches it holding it upsde down kinda like a ninja would taking a simialair stance as he croushes a bit* Well then.....time to see if your abvilities with a sycthe are better then my borthers.

((Star...you need to stop your fight for two reasons. 1.When Soulen gets here my fight will begin and 2.There is no judge present, and so your entire fight is void...please plan it so you are both on at the same time. Thank you.))
Kura watched Jay leave and then turned to look back around as he spoke again. "In life Jay...there are hard times that break men. There are things that happen. Sometimes a man makes a cake, but when that cake continually falls flat, or is destroyed by odd occurances, or his own doing. He gives up. He throws that life away and gets rid of cakes. I no longer bake cakes Jay...remember that."
Kura's golden eyes stared around slowly at the emptiness. There was nothing, so he was ready. He wanted to begin and start off with this Soulen, to end it and continue on in what he was doing.

Jay overheard this and stopped. A chuckle escaped his lips. He put it in such simple terms...so when Jay turned around and said "Hope is something you should hang onto Kura, not callously throw it away. Even if what you've been through seems bad, you shouldn't give up hope." Then he turned again and said "But then again, it's your choice. You can continue on the path you're taking...or you can keep trying to bake a cake" He said, the cake topic clearly amusing him. "Well, I'm going back to the castle. Just wanted to wish you good luck"

Thank you.)) ((Except we do have approval and a judge present. Backreading, we find this: Moonduster From the shadows Reaper comes out in the stands. Hearing the battling down in the stadium. Darksun up on the other pair of bleaches. Him being her eyes showing her through his mind what was going on between Star and Charles. So yeah, I believe it's fight on.))
