"Alright then." Jamie said. A new twinkle coming into his eye. He didn't know why the sudden change, but he was very suddenly feeling very sociable. Seeing the reluctance in her eyes, he decided to act fast. "Come on. It'll be fun." He said, grabbing her by the arm and dragging her out of the room. He let go of her as soon as she regained her footing, and headed downstairs.

He said hello to some people here and there, and grabbed a plate, piling it with food. He kept walking and stopped by Penny and Regina. "My goodness." Jamie said, grinning. "You must be Avril and Dawn. I've heard so much about you." Jamie said smiling, and he shook there hands while holding his plate in one hand. "Did you girls get food? Best part of Thanksgiving." He said, nodding. Sure, he looked a little, well alot, rediculous, but who cares?

After finally decided to break her "I'm anti-social" streak after what seemed like months, Victoria left her comfty quarters and hurried downstairs to join the festivities. No sooner was she at the main foyer when the lushious smell of food and the pleasant chatter of people wafted her way. She smiled, for the first time in a while she was acutally in a good mood. Her sneaker squeeked slightly as she trotted across the main foyer and into the dining room.

Looking around the dining she could immediantly tell that everyone was there already and them some. Most of her peers had invited their family over, which was a decent thing thing to do, but she wasn't that decent anymore. She didn't even bother to call them. What the hell do I need to thank them for? They cared squat for me so now I care squat for them. Letting out a small breath to get rid of the negative energy she reached for the nearest clean plate and began loading it up with what was left of the food.

He nodded and handed her a generous portion of the chocolate pie. "Hmmm?" She said looking at her. "Yea, just not used to so many people being around I guess...family gatherings weren't all to big..." He smiled at her to show everything was ok. He smiled at ana watching her feed herself just before she spattered him with her mashed potatoes. Everyone kinda laughed and so did he. "Thank you Ana, but I've got my own..." He said smiling as he wiped off his shirt.

As Kyila's bodyguard appeared, he prepared to start asking questions. But between being thanks and that he was feeling his chest for broken bones, he never got a change to speak. As for broken bones, he had none, but tomorrow he would wake up covered in cabbage sized bruses.
Reabsorbing the gel armor and blade, he stands transfixed, his mind realing. The first thing he thinks is that, somehow, unbeknownst to him, he had somehow been transported to planet fruitloop. Calming himself, he takes a deep breath. This takes his mind off the subject, mostly because some of his brused ribs chearfully announce that they are not feeling at their peak. Straightening, he turns and exits the danger room.In the prep room, he checks his ribs again as he peels off his suit to change.
It is at this time, that Shadowcat decides to phase through one of the walls, looking for a misplaced bracelet. "Oh! Exscuse me!" She blurts out after several seconds of akward staring from both parties. Reaching into her locker, grabbing what she came for, she leaves much more hurridly then she arrived.
Trying to mentally restart his heart, Kris gives off a deep sigh that causes him to double up. Thank you very much, ribs. Changing and deciding that no, he should not become a hermit because of this experience, he stuffs his suit back in his locker before entering the elevator, taking his suit with him.
Pressing the button for the first floor while pondering, he is not very pleased to see that he picked the wrong floor as the doors open with an unessisary cheary ding. Exiting becuase he does have a pair of working legs and that he will use them the rest of the way. He tries to stealthily avoid getting spoted by the others in their merryment as he makes his way toward the stairs.

When walking back to his seat, he noticed that Avril had already stolen it, and Jamie was talking to everyone. There was someone else with him, someone Jacen didn't rightly recognize. Of course, he would eventually. That's the way it always was around here; if you didn't know someone right away, you would in time.

"James," Jacen said as he walked up behind the crew, "Good to see you made it."

"Likewise.....what happened to you there?," he asked, astonishment filled his voice. They hadn't gone on a mission so there was really no need for Jacen to be injured.

"Hurricane Evie," Jacen said jokingly and started to laugh. Not all of them laughed, but Jacen most assuredly found the humor in it all. "Anyways, I'm going to skip dessert for the moment. Need to walk and stretch my legs." Before he could take the first step away he felt someone tug on his shirt. It was Avril again.

"I wanna walk too," she said plainly, without any hesitance.

"I don't mind, that is if your sister doesn't mind," Jacen said as he looked at Penance. She just smiled and nodded her head. "Alright, kiddo. Let's get going." With that, the two took off and started to wander aimlessly through the Institute. They had walked so far through the institute, that Avril actually had gotten a bit tired and had Jacen carry her part of the way. That was until he found himself looking out a windowed door on the East Wing before setting her down on her feet.

"That's...odd," Jacen said to himself. He could have sworn he saw someone or something moving outside. He concentrated hard, trying to see who or what was out there, but he didn't see a thing. Then he saw something move out of his peripheral vision. Two somethings actually. He didn't like the situation he was in, but he knew what had to be done, injury or not.

"Avril. Go get Penance," Jacen said placing his hand on the nearby doorknob while talking with the little girl.

"What is it, Jacen?," she asked. Innocence and naivety were still very much a part of this kid's nature.

"Don't know. Just....get her please," he said as he started to open the door, "And only tell Penance. We don't need everyone in an uproar here. Only the people that need to know." While opening the door completely, he heard rushed footsteps leaving the room where he was, and felt confident enough to head outside to see what exactly was going on.

"Nothing.....," Jacen said before hearing something. Instinctively, he fired up an energy bolt in his hand and was ready for an attack, but he was greeted with something alltogether different. A bright flash of light broke his concentration enough to where he let the energy just dissipate into nothing. Then, almost akin to a lowblow, he felt something heavy hit his injured arm, immediately wracking his body with pain. Then, as he crouched to a knee, he heard a voice. A strangely familiar, yet alien voice speak to him in his mind.

The more you struggle, the more this will hurt. Please don't make us hurt you., was all he could comprehende before he passed out cold outside of the Institute's walls.

A young woman appeared from behind Penny. "Alex, let him go, he is not the one we are after." It was a young girl of 17 or 18. She had long white hair that was styled much like Sasha's. Infact, if it wasn't for her different hair and eye color, she would be Sasha's extact twin. The young girl looked at Penny. "So this is the young Miss Penny," she smiled, "It's nice to meet you teacher."

Sonya laughed when Markus was hit by the mashed potatoes. "Good shot Ana." But then she noticed Ana was gone. Suddenly a great blast of wind blew into the room, knocking over much of the foods and tables. Most of the mutants were blown off but Sonya used her static to cling to the metal surface like a magnet. She was able to grabbed Markus. But for some reason the floor below them caved in and they fell through.

Sasha laughed with Victoria. She missed her time with her best friend and was glad that she finally came out. She was about to take Ana to get clean when she noticed that Ana was gone. "Ana? Ana!?" She grabbed Pietro. "Ana's gone!" But then a great gust of air blew in. Sasha and Pietro were blown towards the wall but Sasha quickly formed a giant rock wall to hide behind. "What the hell was that?" she asked.

A young girl about 15 with her hair in buns walked in. She had brown eyes. She looked a lot like Sonya mixed with Markus. Behind her walked a young boy of the same age. He had brown hair and yellow eyes. He looked just like the girl. The girl spoke. "Please follow our orders. If you do, we promise you won't get hurt."

Sonya and Markus had fell a couple of floors down. She landed on Markus. But strangley, they had a soft landing. Sonya looked below them. They had landed on some clean blankets and pillows. "I'm soo good I did that before I went to eat," sighed Sonya. She looked down at Markus and blushed. "Oh, um...thankyou," she said.

Sasha looked at the two kids that just came in. "What a bunch of brats," she said. She then thought of something. "You don't think that Magento found out about Ana and sent his people down to come and get her do you?"
