Kerrigan turned to him, laughing slightly as she leaned against the wall herself, shrugging a bit.
"Nothing out of the ordinary. Someone is having health issues, one is in a body cast...someone is being an a*****e and pissing everyone off. Would have thought you woul have gotten used to it by now." She grinned over at Simon as she spoke, shaking her head. She had seen him around since the incident in the High Rise district when Mauser was there the first time, but that did not mean that she had ever gotten to know him. Actually she had never talked to him since that mission...but that did not mean that she did not know who he was.
However, she then moved over to sit by Krii's side while the rest of them continued to work over Edith. She wanted to help, but there were three others besides Gail in that room. Anymore and the doctor was going to snap. Motioning for Simon to come over to her to talk if he wanted, she pulled up a chair besides Krii, looking at him with a slightly apologetic expression. She should have never left him alone in the city.

Skiaska watced Kiriyama leave sadly. Buck up, b***h. Like he said, the pack needs you. Be strong for once and help them. They don't need my help though... have they ever really? Doubtful. Mre than once, you've probaby only gotten in the way, but... Acting like this will bring it down more. Now then, little fool, go away. Jag forced her from the conversation, causing a throbbing headache. One second, she loves me, the next she despises me... Bi-polar much? Ski sighed and shook her head. The doctors were taking care of Edith. She would just wait...

Krii'Ouse felt Kerrigan's presence near him, and his face tightened. He tried to reach out, trying to feel her mind, and connect. His mind was too sedated to speak, though. He instead just stayed suspended in the bed.
After a while, the drugs began to wear off. He slowly opened his eyes, his mind starting to comprehend what was going on. His eyes fully opened, he looked around, his face a look of confusion. 'How...' he said, his voice soft, 'How did I... get here?' He spoke slowly, his back in pain from his breathing. 'I'm in... the infir... mary? I only re... member being... in Hunter's... Kerri?' he asked, not seeing her, as his vision was blurred from the trauma. His eyes weren't aglow, they were normal right now.
'Kerri? Are you... here? I feel... I feel you here... Kerri?'

Gail and Eliot had looked and checked over Edith for hours, and really, they hadn't figured out what was wrong with Edith except for a few possible things, not really things they thought possible until they saw her. Both medics had concluded that Edith's condition did have to do with a psychological breakdown, but her body had responded to it and when they had checked it, she had not had the normal anatomy of a vampire. Edith's blood still flowed and she was still resisting the vampirism that was threatening to overtake her.
The girl was strong, that came as no suprise, she was William's little sister, probably had a will of steel like him and she was in great physical condition minus what had happened. However, Gail, in all of her studies, had never known anyone able to resist the effects of vampirism unless treated immediately, usually, the longest a person could last was about an hour, maybe two but Edith's body was still partly human.
Of course, the vampirism had altered most of her body and she was slowly being infected by it, but there were parts of her body still human. For example, she still needed her heart, if someone were to stab Edith in the heart, she would die as her heart was still human. Edith still breathed and had lungs, so if her oxygen supply were to be cut off, she would die from that as well.
However, this discovery probably was not what shocked Gail most, well, this discovery, she could only assume was related to the second. Somehow, Edith had become pregnant, somehow, her body was able to support a baby. That's where the connection came in, Edith's reproductive system still worked and was able to support a child, however, she could not eat as her stomach rejected food. This is where Gail feared for the child, it was literally living off the blood that it's mother drank, which was little from what Gail had seen though Edith's temples had been bleeding.
Eliot and Gail had both concluded that Edith's child was currently healthy and that it was roughly six months along. If Edith's child was going to have a chance of making it at all, they'd need to insert some vitamins into it, as this child, surprisingly enough, was human.
The two medics worked on Edith for another few hours and finally, after almost a day of switching back and fourth for duties or both being in the iscolation room at the same time, emerged from the room, tired but they'd done their best. They really hadn't known what to do for Edith, she had been having more of a psychological problem than a physical one, but her physical condition had been affected by her psychological one. In the end, they'd just ended up putting her to sleep so she wouldn't harm herself and so that she could hopefully rest peacefully.
Gail walked out of the iscolation chamber, though tired, she did remember that people had been anxiously crowding Edith to see how she was doing. The medic went over to the person she thought needed to know things most, the person closest to Edith. Gail walked over to Tokeru, dark circles under her eyes, no smile, just a fairly straight expression with a somewhat careless stride.
Once she reached Tokeru, Gail began her explanation, reminding herself that she should inform Tokeru of Edith's condition as he was her fiance from what she'd heard. "Edith, has, for now," Gail explained, "been stabalized. Both Eliot and I haven't a clue what happened to her but her mind was so stressed that it literally converted the stress from the mind into her body, ultimately causing her to seizure and become delusional from your account. Along with that, we discovered that Edith is roughly six months along with child."
Though tired, the medic waited for Tokeru's reaction, making sure that he was going to be fine himself. Of course it was habitual on Gail's part, she naturally helped people and she needed to make sure that Tokeru would handle this alright. "You may," Gail said to him, still expressionless, "go and see her now if you wish. She's probably asleep right now but God knows when she'll wake up."

Lydia walked in behind Will, instantly probing for Edith's mind. Finding it with ease, Edith's mind was surprisingly like her brother's, the psychic tried to assess what was going on. Edith? It is Lydia. Your brother and I, along with everyone else, want to make sure that you are doing better now. If you want, we can talk like this for awhile.

Kiriyama walked into the imfermary. His head was fealing slightly funny now.Like a minor headache or somthing. He rubbed his temples as he looked around.He saw there offical leader William. "This is suprising"He said in a cool and calm tone."The leader is here. And here I thought you had given Krii'Ouse complete command. Good to know your here for your people when they need you."He didnt realize it till now but he was sweating. Was it the blood of that daywalker he had drank that was getting to him?

Tokeru was relieved to hear that his fiance was fine, and the murderous energy that exuded from him was gone immediately. Thanking gail, he anxiously rushed into the room, and ran to Edith's side. He grabbed her hand, and just held it. Not saying anything, just letting her know that he was there, ready to be there when she woke up.

(( Anyone, everyone, feel free to NPC Gail, I suck at playing her and I'm done with her. XD ))
Gail was wanting to get some peace and quiet, at least sit down for a brief moment, but of course more people had to come and ask questions. She decided that she would answer William's as his little sister and his blood brother were both in the infirmary. "Krii'Ouse," she pointed to Krii suspended in his bed, talking to Kerrigan, "is right over there and conscious as it would seem. And Edith's down the hall in the iscolation chamber. Tokeru just went down there so I'm sure you won't have that much trouble finding her."
Edith was actually brought back into consciousness by Lydia's mentally coming into her mind and by Tokeru's physically touching her. The psychic vampiress awoke, somewhat dazed and very confused. She took one look at Tokeru and just broke her dazed stance into a complete embrace. She literally pulled him onto the bed. "Tokeru," she whispered quietly, holding him closely to her, resting her chin on the top of his head, "I'm sorry. I don't remember what happened but I remember you upset. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
The vampiress tried to focus her psychic abilities to talk to Lydia. Right now, her temples were aching but they had been numbed by antibiotics, pain killers. She strained to become in tune with her psychic abilities and after a few brief moments of remembering the process, she spoke to her sister in law. 'I think ... I'm fine? I don't really remember what happened, I just remember Tokeru crying ... upset ... because of me.'

Tokeru smiled, happiness abounding, he hadn't felt this happy since she had accepted his marriage proposal. "Dont be sorry, i'm just glad you're ok. You really scared me there, i've never been scared of anything before, but when you started throwing up blood, it scared me, i was more scared for you than I have ever been for anyone. I'm just really really happy. I'm so glad."
Tokeru had not slept since the ordeal yesterday, and it was starting to show, his head dropped onto Edith's chest, a smiled on his face, his hands still holding hers. "You need rest now." he said, yawning widely.

Skiaska frowned a little at Kiriyama. "Darling... Will is always doing what is best for us, even if we can't see him. He deserves breaks, too. And while Krii'ouse is Omega, Will is Alpha. And... Are you alright?" She brought her hand to his forehead. Ski's frown deepened. He felt almost... "...Warm?" Her eyes narrowed. "What happened?"

When Tokeru smiled, it was just pure instinct on Edith's part to smile back. Even if she wanted to, she could not stop herself from smiling when she saw Tokeru's smile. Her psychic abilities also enabled her to sense his comfort and ease, his happiness, his relief, and his tiredness. "I'm sorry Tokeru. I seriously don't remember it happening at all."
Edith drooped her head, her playful side had returned, she was already recovering, just very very tired. "Of all the people I know," Edith said, trying to make her lip quiver, to make it appear as though she was upset, "I thought you'd be the one to know that I ain't gonna die from spitting up blood!" She smiled at him, her voice much much softer than it normally was, more raspy as well.
As Tokeru's head drooped to rest against her chest, Edith could not help but smile warmly and cradle him, making sure that nothing happened to him, like falling off the bed or hurting himself. She knew that Tokeru had stayed up and waited for her and she wished he hadn't. "I need rest?" she asked, indirectly referring to Tokeru's yawning without actually coming out and saying it.

Tokeru's eyes closed from his position on her chest, "Well yeah, you lost who knows how much blood, and something to do with the child, though apparently he or she is fine, and I'm happy about that. Happy that you're both safe. We're gonna have to wait for Gail to actually explain everything though, i'm kinda hazy on the details, now you go to sleep and let me protect you" he mumbled, his voice slowly getting softer and softer, untill it was nothing more than a whisper, and still holding her hand, he fell asleep.

Hm, why the hell didn't she remember losing blood or why Tokeru had been crying? Why could she see everything and not remember what had happened? This was really starting to frustrate her and her mind was strained enough as it was. Why couldn't she just be normal, think normally, and not be all whacked out with these thoughts and trying to remember things she'd forgotten?
Eden listened to Tokeru, a soft smile gracing her features until she heard him mention something about a child. What child? Immediately she thought of Kyley, had Kyley been there? No, Tokeru had said he or she, that meant he didn't know. Perhaps he hadn't seen Kyley. Wait for Gail to explain what?
"Yeah," she mumbled to herself, realizing that she was gravely uncomfortable but not wanting to shift and wake Tokeru up in the process, "sure I'm gonna go to sleep after you give me a whole shwak-load of questions I want answered ..."
Even though she was annoyed by her new questions, Tokeru's endearing statement that was simply adorable forced her to smile once again. Tokeru was such a considerate sweetheart. Always thinking of her and being way too wreckless, not thinking enough about himself. Meh, she was the same so she couldn't be the one to lecture him on that. "Sleep well," she whispered to her fiance, "love you."

Kiriyama nodded to Skiaska."I know he dose his best. And Im glad he dose. I know he has saved your life and everyones around here."His sweat worsened."I went to a night cluba dn was attacked by a day walker. She thought I was just some human and tryed to drain me. But I killed her and sucked up some of her blood since i was really needing some. Ive been fealing funny since then.Might be the ablility of walking in the day settling in."
