"hmm.... you have a lot of potential...." Cassie's father said through the speakers. "I'm not sure-" he started sarcastically. "but i'm assuming you're here for my daughter." he said.

"How about a deal? Cassie can't leave. I'm sure that she's already told you that. obviously you didn't believe her. but if you do want to be with her i'll let you. you won't get shot, i won't try to drown you or kill or harm you in any other way but you have to follow my orders- which is basically the same thing you'd probably be doing anyways since i'm only going to ask you to kill any zombies that you see." he offered. "I can provide you two with pretty much anything you want. you could even have your own house if you wanted."

"I mentioned everything. there is nothing hiding up my sleeves. all you have to do is follow the missions that entitle no more than exterminating zombies. they're almost taking over D.C. and well we can't have that in the capital now can we?" he said.

"No matter what you do you cannot take her away. it doesn't matter if the entire world was at your mercy you can't remove her. There is still much you do not yet know about yourself and her." he said.

"Because i am her acting master. she has to do what i tell her to do. which isn't much- its not like i tell her to scrub floors or anything like that, otherwise what are the maids for? no- think of it as a dog on a leash. she has some freedom but ican't very well just let her go prancing around wherever she likes." he said.

"Why thank you." he said sarcastically.

Cassie groaned. her head started pounding. she could hear faint sounds somewhere far away in the house but she didn't care about that. then her door opened and a maid came in. "oh dear, we need to get you out of this mess, miss." she said. she cleared the rubble off of Cassie's bed. she then helped Cassie out of her bed. "Come Miss, lets get you out of here." she said. she slipped under her arm and supported her to walk over to the wall. the maid pushed in a hidden panel in the wall and a table folded out from the wall. "Now, sit here and you'll be safe." the maid informed Cassie.
"Thank you." Cassie said weakly.
"Don't thank me dear- just doing my job." the maid helped Cassie lay out on the table. "I hope to see you later, Miss." she said. Cassie nodded and the maid pressed the panel again. a Plexiglas bubble covered Cassie and she disappeared into the wall.

"No and I don't plan on it." he replied defiantly.
