She was surprised in fact to learn that people from the Four Lands (baring Elnara of course) had been in the portal room, but then again they did need help getting that furniture here.
"I hope they won't get into too much trouble," Kara replied softly, "As for your children, there is a choice, we can show you were the ones living here are living or we can invite them for dinner. Despite the fact we're not all in the same building anymore, it's not that hard to track them down."

"Though if you want to see them before dinner it won't be hard," Donovan interjected, "Serenity, Skye and Ian's place is the closest... the home that Shiro, Ura and Kaito live in is a bit further away from yours and of course Storm and Starr are in your home, and at the moment are being looked after by Trisha."
Then there was of course the fact Celebor and Idhril didn't have homes here because they lived in the Seconds world, but it wouldn't take much to send someone to get them. Probably Kali she was the oldest living in the main house.

"Perhaps we should just invite them all for dinner as well," Elnara mused as they walked. "It would be easier, and that way I can feed the twins before then."
Since Garrick was for sure waking up, which meant that Hana would be following soon afterward. He started whimpering softly, and Elnara began to rock him before it turned into a full-scale wail.

Donovan nodded, that would certainly be more sane than trying to walk around with crying babies.
"I'll go and inform the others, and get Kali to find Idhirl and Celebor."
He didn't seem too desturbed by the babies though if one was to guess he was making quite a quick exit at the moment now that hte babies were slowly starting to wake up.
"I'll see you in a bit," he told the three adults before leaving.

"If I didn't know any better," Kara mused though she looked completely amused by Donovan at the moment.
Putting a hand on Elnara's shoulder, which required her to reach up actually a bit, though fortunately not as much as it would have been had it been Lore.
"Let's get you both seated so you can feed, the tea room is this way," she giggled, "It's just like I remember it from when I was little. The retainers who had been looking after the main house while my sister and I've been gone has done a wonderful job."

The soft sound of a little baby waking up caught Lore's attention, it looked like just on time Hana was waking up. It was pretty clear they would have two crying babes if something wasn't done.
"That would be good," Lore admitted, as he held Hana close hoping she wouldn't cry once she woke up.
Not that that was going to happen.

Elnara tried to call out after Donovan as he rushed away, but he was already gone by the time she opened her mouth.
She sighed. "No one needs to go to the seconds world," she murmured softly, "it's probably best not to have everyone at once anyways ..."
She was distracted from her thought by Garrick, who had indeed begun to wail - though thankfully not at full volume.
"We'd better hurry," Elnara worried, looking down at Kara and picking up her pace, though she didn't know where they were going. "He's got quite the lungs on him, and he'll scream until he's satisfied."
Luckily Hana wasn't so bad ... though it seemed as though she didn't feel like crying at the moment. Her bright green eyes opened a sliver, and she stared up at Lore quietly.

"Don't worry, we'll keep it from getting too chaotic," Kara reassured Elnara as she led the way to the tea room.
She opened the door, she had always loved this room as a child, even though the child sized plushed chairs had been moved into corners since there was no one really she had tea with that would fit into those chairs.
Well... Masako wouldn't sit in them and Mia was a tad big for them so... Lumina, Krys, Jase and Violet were more interested in the couch.
"Here we are," she led the two in, "Take the couch there, it should be enough room."

"Thank you," Lore murmured.
Lore looked down at Hana and chuckled a bit, she always managed to surprise him. He really thought she was going to cry, but maybe she was more interested in her surroundings.

"Thanks," Elnara smiled, heading towards the couch and sitting down right away. "It's lovely in here ... really, this place is magnificent."
She lay Garrick in her lap and dug through her bag for one of the blankets she used for nursing. "Ahren thought it was a palace," she grinned just as Garrick started to cry. "And I have to admit, it does sort of remind me a bit of the Westland palace ..."
Garrick really started wailing then, and Elnara quickly pulled the blanket over herself, positioned Garrick beneath it, and began to nurse him. The blanket was just big enough to cover from her neck to Garrick's backside, allowing her some privacy, even while out in public.
Hana stared up at Lore, and when he chuckled she jerked a bit, somewhat startled by its suddenness. Then her eyes closed again and she yawned, then turned her face towards Lore's body and began to make little sucking motions.

Kara chuckled, then again from the outside it was pretty large, she had forgotten how large the manor was, which was funny since she was even smaller back then than she was now.
"Thank you, really though it is a compliment that is reserved for my father, we didn't change the main rooms except the bed rooms all that much. Yes, some of the walls had been painted, that would be Serenity and Trisha's doing, but the layout of the manor itself, the way it was built was planned by my father.. well my father and great-grandmother," she amended.
She smiled again at the thought.
"I look forward to being able to seeing them again, thankfully we finally finished the last of the paper work and formalities," Kara sighed with relief.

Lore smiled softly before looking up at Kara, "Still this place is lovely."
He wanted to stroke Hana, but afraid to make her cry, he didn't want to bother her after all.
"And it sounds like we just came back just in time."

Elnara smiled at Kara and leaned back, crossing her legs to lift Garrick a little higher. The couch was comfortable enough ... but it wasn't her rocking chair, which she found she was already missing, even though it was only a few rooms away.
Well, at least they had been able to bring it with them.
"Daemon must have been with Gion for ... at least forty years by now," she commented to Kara, "and the last time we saw him - even before the wedding - he was able to come out of the sword for short periods of time ... do you think the time might be coming when he'll be able to leave the sword permanently?"

Kara gave a thoughtful look, "I.... believe so."
The thought excited her and scared her all at the same time. In a way her father would have many years then left for him. He would be here and yet she wondered how it would be for him, to leave the place he had lived in for so long now. He had experienced life there for nearly as long as he had in Gaia.
"I hope so, he would love to see how the grounds have turned out now."

Elnara smiled and nodded, leaning her head back against the wall. Nursing always made her feel so relaxed ... as if she could just let go of all the worries in the world.
"Maybe he could come out long enough for a visit at least," she murmured softly, "and even if he doesn't last long, it's better than nothing ... at least for now."
"Hey is that them?" a little voice asked from a doorway across the room. A tiny surprise stage second skittered in, with midnight blue hair and a pale dressing gown and night cap, lavender eyes wide and curious.
Serenity was right behind him, smiling widely, and she nodded. "Yes," she murmured in reply, "that's them."
She looked up at Lore and Elnara and waved. "Welcome home, Mama and Papa," she said happily - and then she did a double take. "Mama ... what are you doing?"
"Yeah, Grandma, what are you doing?" the tiny boy chirped brightly, keeping up with Serenity.
