"Well accually...im a little scared, like if i end up like my dad? What would you do if that happened annora?" John became very depressed all of a sudden. He looked away from annora down at his serial bowl. A small tear slid down his cheek, it rolled down and dripped off the tip of his nose into his cerial.

Annora lifted her hand and pulled his face to look at him. "You will never be like him. Ever. I am not even going to think about that. You will never be like that monster. I swear it." She said to him. "Please don't worry about that... If you are scared then thats fine... But not because you are afraid to be your father."

Nathan looked at Derrik curiously. He knew he loved to do those things like acting and modeling, and he was really good at it. Really good. But, it confused him when Derrik said that they were just hobbies, nothing more, nothing less. "Derrik, you are really really really good at those things. I love to act. I've already been to three preforming art's schools. Took classes over the summer since freshman year. And I try out for roles on stage or in short films, and I almost never make it. You went to half of what I did, try out for the same roles, and get them hands down. And modeling...let's just say that more things rise than just my eyebrows." Nathan giggled. "I would love to become an actor. I can't though. Because I don't have what it takes, or I just don't have enough of it. You...you have what it takes and more. You can turn this hobby into a career and you'll be the hottie on all of those magazines like TV Guide or Today. You'll be the talk of the town. Every man would envy your fame and the ton's of adoring fangirls. Every woman would envy your boyfriend." He chuckled. "The point is, if you have a dream, like I do, you strive for it no matter what. And when you know that you can not fullfill that dream for any reason way down the road, you turn to your fall back. My fall back is singing and I'm actually hoping for it to be my big break. I just need to get a band and into a preforming arts school for that next year." Nathan leaned back in his chair and took a breath. The waitress came back with their drinks and told them their meals would be ready in a minute. Nathan nodded in thanks and took a nice long drink of his tea. "Mmm...I love Brisk Tea." He smiled widely and giggled.

"That is the problem with it, Nathan. It is just a dream. Very few who try really make it all that far. And if I did make it? Then I am just a face, something to look at. No one will care if I am talented or intelligent. I do enjoy acting, but I do not know that I could stand to have my entire livelihood depend on how many teenage girls think they want to have my babies. It isn't solid, there is no job security. Can we really live like that?" Derrik stopped when he realized he had said we. What was wrong with him? He could not even say the three words he knew Nathan was waiting to hear from him, but he'd already included Nathan into his future. He did not try to change what he'd said; he had meant it. Whatever he decided for his future, he was deciding with Nathan in mind. Though one could contend that if he wanted Nathan in his future, he ought to consider Nathan's opinion.

Nathan thought for a second. Now that Derrik had said we, he knew that he loved him, even if he couldn't say it. Nathan smiled. "I could live with it. Because, the point of the matter is, that I have you to live with too." Nathan said with the most love and compassion that he could muster at the moment. "Besides, you'd be enough to handle, I couldn't worry about anything else!" Nathan said jokingly. "But, seriously. I know that no matter what, we would be together, through thick and thin. And we love each other. That's all that matters." Nathan kissed his hand. "And yes, I said we love each other. 'Cause I know you do love me. Even if you're not ready to say it, which is fine." Nathan said with a bright smile. He really ment it. And he really knew. Their food came and Nathan was extatic. He smiled widely at his food, like a hungery wolf at a rabbit. He folded his hands and prayed a quick prayer, then dove straight into his food.

Derrik was taken aback by Nathan's reply. How could Nathan be so sure when Derrik himself was still unable to even say it? He was broken out of his quiet thought when the food arrived and Nathan gave it the sort of predatory look the proverbial cat gives the canary. Derrik chuckled softly at Nathan's enthusiasm, just watching him for a moment. Nathan was enthusiastic about everything, wasn't he? He took to dreams, love and even food with an eagerness and thirst for living life to its fullest that still confused and honestly frightened Derrik a little. He had never been able to live that way. That sort of optimistic fervor opened the doors to his worse fears. Failure, heartbreak, abandonment... hope was the first step on the road to disappointment. He could not really fail at acting if he never tried it. No one could break his heart if he never let anyone touch it. No one could leave him if he never got close to anyone. If he expected the worse, he could never be disappointed. Derrik began to eat his meal quietly. Was he really so afraid? Apparently. It was not something he had realized about himself until Nathan had made him realize.

Nathan took three huge bites out of his burger, eating half already before Derrik started on his. He stopped to chew and breath, and then the 5 alarm's hit him like a train hitting a brick wall. He swallowed and took a big gulp of his ice tea. After a second, he sighed and smile. "Ahhhh... this is one good burger." Nathan said before picking it back up and eating it normally. Halfway through eating the rest of his burger, Nathan got a brilliant idea. He slipped his shoe off carefully, so that Derrik wouldn't notice, and slipped over to Derrik's leg, and began rubbing his foot up and down his leg; mainly around his mid-thigh area. Nathan still chewed away at his sandwich, taking a couple of sips; acting completely nonchalant, waiting for Derriks reaction.

Derrik's gloomy thoughts were interrupted by Nathan's foot rubbing against his inner thigh. This surprised him enough that for a moment he just stared and blinked at Nathan. Then a grin spread slowly across his face. Wide enough to show the gleam of teeth; an expression unusual for him. "You little tease. Play innocent all you like... right up until I embarrass you right here in this restaurant." Oh no, he would not really do a thing like that. Well, he was fairly certain he wouldn't. Imagining it and threatening to were both fair game, though. Derrik was having a hard time paying attention to his food, if that could even be imagined of him. He was entirely too busy wondering just how far down Nathan's blush would go if he were pounced and stripped mid-lunch.

Nathan grinned at Derrik's sudden realization and chuckled. "Innocent? What ever do you mean?" As soon as these words left his tongue, he moved his foot up a bit further and began moving circles in his crotch. Nathan grinned wider and took the last bite of his sandwich, starting on his fries. He wondered all the while what Derrik would do to embarress him. Hopefully it wasn't something that would get them kicked out or maybe arrested, if Derrik was darring to go that far. And if he was, Nathan would go that far with him. They were accomplisses now. Nathan giggled silently at the thought. He dipped his french fries into his little cup of ranch dressing and stuck it in his mouth, still rubbing cirlces into Derrik's groin. "Hmm...I wonder what you had in mind. 'Cause now, whatever that revenge was is gonna have to be a whole lot bigger." He grinned ear to ear.

"Nothing I could actually legally get away with, damn it all to hell." Derrik shifted uncomfortably in his seat. Nathan's bit of foot play had his pants starting to feel a bit tight and confining. Stupid laws. There was nothing at all indecent about exposure. Derrik took in the restaurant at a glance. It was fairly crowded, but the sight of two men shamelessly kissing had most of the patrons pointedly ignoring their table. "Ah, forget embarrassing, then. I will settle for just plain fun." Derrik carefully removed Nathan's foot from his lap. Not because he wasn't enjoying it, for he sincerely was. He did so in order to slip under the table. Such naughty things he could do under there... but he behaved, sort of. He just wanted to touch Nathan; he slipped his hands under Nathan's shirt, caressing his torso, lifting the fabric to kiss his exposed belly. Derrik continued to kiss and lick Nathan's skin as his hands lowered to Nathan's thighs, slowly stroking and caressing. Footsie was all fine and good, but Derrik much preferred to get up close and personal.

"I can't wait to be a father! I'm just scared that i'll turn into him. But not so much anymore." John reached over and kissed her, sticking his togue in her mouth, just a tad and licking the inside of her cheek. He didn't really want it to end up like last night, not that he didn't enjoy it but it was to early so he pulled back. He wrapped his arms around annora squeezing her close to him.
