"Am I that obvious?" Ichiran said with a smile, twisting his body and landing behind Kasen, who he hoped was defenseless after his stun attack. When he landed, he immediately turned to face Kasen, and swung his zanpaku-to at the exposed flesh of the back of his neck, while at the same time launching a kick at the inside of his knee.

Kasen pivoted his right leg to blocked the blade's strike at his neck while his knee was hit instead of the back which made Kasen hop for a second. "So obvious..." Kasen as as brought his sheathed sword up at the blade while he replaced his zanpakuto at his side once more. "Another thing, why do you keep getting behind me, is there something interesting behind me?" Kasen said as kicked upwards at Ichiran's left side and pointed his right index finger at Ichiran's left tendon. "Hado #4, Byakurai." Kasen said as he fired once more a burst of lightning, this time at close-range against him.

Ichiran took the hit from his byakurai full on, as it blew through muscles and flesh. "You leave it undefended, That makes it of great interest to me." Ichiran said, side-stepping to dodge the kick. After he had evaded the attacks, Ichiran stabbed forward with his zanpaku-to, hoping to hit Kasen in the shoulder.

Kasen grabbed the zanpakuto blade with his right hand causing it to bleed as it was cut open a bit, however Kasen grinned as he recited a Kido once more. "BakudÅ #4, Hainawa!" Kasen shouted as he released a golden light from his hand that wrapped around his blade and hand. This kido binds his arm to whatever its bounded to. Kasen took this chance and swung down at Ichiran's shoulder while he shouted ,"How are you able to walk?" Kasen asked as he brought the blade down.

Crafty little devil Ichiran thought as Kasen bound his hand to Ichirans zanpaku-to. "I simply persevere through the pain." Ichiran said, trying hard not to look at his injured leg. If i don't acknowledge the wound, it doesn't exist. He thought, and so far it was working. Although he was sure he wouldn't be able to run or jump, he could still hold his own.....for a time, at least. Ichiran twisted his torso, dodging the full width of the blade, but he still received a cut across his bicep. In a desperate attempt to free himself, Ichiran yanked up on the blade, causing it to angle and cut into Kasens hand.

Kasen endured through the pain in his hand as it bled while Kasen sheathed his blade and held his palm open. "I'm going to show you something nobody else can do..." Kasen growled as he gathered bright red reiatsu into his hand and began to form something. "The scorpion is about to sting you." Kasen said as he gathered enough reiatsu to form his technique which he had been gracious enough to learn from his zanpakuto. "Kasen, the fire arrow which bears ironically to my name." He said as he held the arrow and stabbed forward at Ichiran's chest while he held onto the bounded blade to make sure he wouldn't escape far.

Ichiran once again twisted his torso to the left, receiving only a thin red scratch across his chest. Wincing in pain, Ichiran once again jerked his zanpaku-to up frantically, as if he was sawing a piece of wood, in a desperate attempt to free himself. If I can put some distance in between me and him, i'll be able to tend to my wounds and draw out this battle longer. Ichiran thought, motivating himself so that his muscles could yank the zanpaku-to with their full force.

Kasen grinned as he held up the arrow which glowed brightly. "Hope you you like fire, cause you broke my arrow's thin layer of reiatsu that contains my zanpakuto's flaming reiatsu." Kasen said as his arrows true abilities lie neither in piercing or marksmanship, but its explosive devastation. The arrow glowed as Kasen threw the arrow Ichiran which would explode in a close-range even if Ichiran dodged.

"Who DOESN'T like fire?" Ichiran said with a laugh while he put 75% of his reiatsu into his left hand, which was free, as the arrow spead towards him. When it was about to reach him he thrust his hand forward into it and clenched his hand into a fist, using the steel-like shell of reiatsu around his hand to contain the explosion, protecting his body. When the explosion ended, Ichiran opened his hand to find the skin nearly completely gone. He was sure that there was sever nerve damage, and he inspected the wound closely when he noticed that it had also spread to his arm, just stopping at his elbow. Blood dripped onto the ground below as Ichiran tried to contain the pain of the wound, sure that his hand was almost completely disabled. With a wince of pain, Ichiran once again began to saw at Kasens hand with his zanpaku-to, while pointing his index finger at his solar-plexus, and saying "Hadou #4, byakurai!" As the white beam of lightning sped towards him at nearly point blank distance.

((Ichiran...You are still brand new in the squad and even though you may have a seat you have little to no control over your reitsu. Plus, Kasen is a 3rd seat and his attacks are much more powerful compared to yours.))

Kasen released the kido that bound the two closely as Kasen shunpo away form the lightning, however he felt pain in his left hand which was hit instead as he tried to get away. Kasen looked at this and sighed as he decided it was time he got serious. Sheathing the sword he impaled the sheathed sword into the ground and unsheathed his zanpakuto. "My zanpakuto has been waiting to be used in this battle." A spirit appeared behind Kasen that smirked before disappearing, but Ichiran wouldn't notice as only Kasen could see the spirit. "Let's see if you have the will to continue." Kasen said as he held the blade up with his right hand.

"As much as I would like this battle to continue on, Kasen, I need medical attention if I would like to have use of my left hand at all." Ichiran said, starting to get dizzy due to the blood loss. "So if you'd excuse me, i'm going to go to squad 4." Ichiran said as he turned and limped off of the battlefield, stopping only when he fell and hit the ground, unconscious.

Kasen sheathed his zanpakuto and grabbed Ichiran and held him in the fireman's carry position. "Foolish Ichiran, still have a lot to learn.." Kasen said as he shunpo to the healing room of squad 4 who will probably be unhappy to see another member injured at his hands again.

Jutaku fell off the tree in aw.
"HOLY CRAP" he said aloud getting up, rubbing his head.
color=red]"That was AMAZING he said aloud agian, luckly he had written everything down, he began flipping through his notes, starting to study them.
