((Mwah, I'll be heading off then. I should be getting up early, but I don't think it's gonna happen. |D;; Thankyee so much for the RP, Ara! *snugglehuggle* I'll make sure to go look at Taxi's journal. >3))
"Right. So you're the prince of pipsqueaks and sweet and sugary. Just add the nice part and you'd make a perfect girl." Tadrith grinned back at Taxi. "And you wish I was a giant. Short stop. Pip-squeak. Microscopic Tala. And there's nothing wrong with the rock, or my perspective from it. It's a rock. You just wish you had your own rock."
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE--
"Oh for--" Tadrith swore under his breath as he pawed at his ruff, making a beeper fall out and jamming the 'OFF' button with a paw. He let out a woeful sigh before hopping off the rock and landing next to Taxi, making sure that he towered over him. "That would be the guardian, wishing me to frolic home so I don't get mistaken by some random child to be the boogy-man outside his window. I shall see you later, Princey Dwarf." Tadrith grinned again before fluttering his wings in a mock-wave and taking to the air and flapping off.
((And I am toast for the night. x-x *tiiiiiiiiired* Thanks again, Ara. We really need to do this more! x33 *huggles* G'night!))

((Night night, lovey! <3 We do need to do this more often!))
"Go to hell and rot in it, old man!" Taxi yelled at Tadrith's retreating form, but there was a grin on hs face. Tail wagging slightly behind him, he scampered onto the vacated rock and sneezed once, twice for good measure.
He stared out at the meadow calmly, not trying to spot anyone or anything, just trying to memorize everything. Every detail. This place was special, even if he hated it. It was the only place he saw Tadrith.
Despite the allrgies, despite his row with his 'mum', it felt really cool to have a friend.

Taxi was wondering, for the umpteenth time, why the hell he'd actually wanted to come here in the first place.
Because you want to show off your new hot bod, a part of his mind stated smugly.
Because you're an idiot, the other part answered cynically.
More inclined to listen to the former, Taxi grinned, puffing out his chest. He'd finally hit his growth spurt, and now Tadrith wouldn't be able to pick on him about his size again! Indeed, Taxi was now mostly limbs with a lithe, wiry body, his long tail touching the ground behind him. His wings were still rather useless, albeit he could move them a bit more now. He was faster, stronger, more endurant...a definite improvement, on all accounts. The only thing he could find to complain was about was that--
"ACHOO!"
--his allergies were now worse than they'd ever been.

Tadrith, like usual, was on top of his rock. Snoring. His foot was also twitching, making odd scratching noises against his 'bed' as it went back and forth. He rolled over to the edge of his rock, licked his muzzle, and was startled awake by a giant sneeze.
"Wha--AHH! Oomph!" Poor Tadrith had fallen right off his rock, looking stupidly at the sky before rolling over and flapped back up onto his seat, muttering about how certain people needed mufflers on their snouts. Until, of course, he saw just who it was that had sneezed.
"Should've known it was you," he commented, "you're the only thing I know that can sneeze like that." He shuffled on his rock until he was looking fully at Taxi, mischeif now glittering in his eyes. "And congrats on finally joining the tall talaye. Ready to upgrade to bus now?"

He struck a pose. And sneezed again.
"Dammit. I guess it couldn't be perfect--now my allergies are worse. And my eyes are grey. That's just wierd, but whatever..."
He stretched, sniffling. "So, what'cha up to, old geezer?"

Tadrith snickered.
"Maybe you should tie a tissue box around your neck. . . " He grinned and flicked his tail about. "Y'know, set the latest trend and everything."
Tad shrugged at the question, shuffling slightly on his rock. "Same old, same old, bus-kid. Sun bathing, swimming, being ultimately bored. And, by the way, your eyes changing colours isn't 'weird', it's 'unique'. Some women would find it romantic." His eyes glittered merrily. "Not as romantic as mine, though. . . All the girls love the red eyes."
((xD S'all good, Ara! I'ma animating at the same time anyway. *is almost done*))

"Heh..." Taxi pondered Tadrith's opinion on his eyes. "Well, I guess so," he puffed up his chest with pride, "and red eye's aren't romantic--they're creepy, and generally associated with demons and all kinds of stuff that goes bump in the night." He stuck his tongue out at Tadrith, teasingly.
"And you should consider carrying a cane," the yellow Talaye put in, "who knows when those ancient joints might give out."

"Try telling that to the ladies. I get them all over me." Tadrith rasberried at Taxi, then grinned again.
"And you should still be in diapers. Don't know when you're going to start bawling."
((xD; Sorry about that. Sibling and dad just came back and had to help unload the car.))

"Sure you do. That's what you gotta keep telling yourself, old man." Taxi chuckled, eyes glimmering mischievously. "And as for diapers--you're right on your way to dentures and chronic backache."
He twitched his wings, and sneezed loudly again. He sniffed indignantly, looking rather miffed at his sickness.
"Goddamn these allergies...still haven't found anything for 'em." He grumbled, sitting on the grass. "It's a good thing at least that I don't get rashes," he chuckled, albit a bit mirthlessly. The mental image was not pleasant.

Tadrith sighed. "Oh, why are the young so rude to their elders? It makes this Tala so sad. . ." He blinked at Taxi after he sneezed, sighed again, and shuffled over on his rock.
"Gotta live with your plate, I guess. Eh, get up here. At least you'll be out of the grass. And there's plenty of room, since you're still a pipsqueak."

((*so much soxxorxx* xD Sry, in the midst of fanfiction-reading, you know how it is...do you mind we continue tomorrow, or whenever? I doubt anyone's gonna post in the Meadow 'till then.... *amused* whee ))
"Because certain elders don't deserve any kind of respect." Taxi replied promptly, flashing pearly white teeth.
At Tadrith's invitation, he leapt--with surprising grace--onto the rock. "Ah, thanks old man." His new location, however, did not stop him from sneezing violently and nearly falling off.

Tortura wanderd through the empty meadow, smiling as memories of sunny days flooded into her mind. What had it been... two years since her last time here? She laughed quietly as she rememberd how she had rolled around on the grass and stared longingly at the talaye. Oh how she had wanted one. So long had it been since she had seen one of those playful canines, but now her hands were full with her companions. Ceri, Myze, Kika and Bane. What beautiful creaters they were. But they were not her first choices. She came upon a tree, apart from the rest, with a strange dent on one of the branches. The picture of her sat on that spot returned and another blissful smile graced her lips. Oh how she had missed this place. She rememberd leaving notes, crudly pinned to this tree and sure enough, small holes remaind at head hight. Yes, back then she had been PinkPunkPrincess but now she had grown so much. Would she be rememberd?

Trelweny practically skipped across the meadow. The only thing slowing her step was the large platic red wagon she pulled behind her. Inside was a 17 month old little boywith strawberryblonde curls to match his mother's locks and two identical talaye baskets. The only thing setting them apart were a scarf and a hair wrap. Trotting alongside her was a gren cait with his fox familiar riding on his back and a winged blue plaid Audio. In the sky above them a tiny speck of blue-gray kunkun was performing aerial acrobatics. Around everyone a yellow persekitty ran circles. The only thing missing was Timex's presense, but Trelweny's ever growing family helped to fill that void.
Eagerly, she looked at everyone on the meadow today. THis was a good day.

Finishing their picnic lunch Trelweny herded her brood home amidst avid protestations. Sighing she held firm, even letting a tired Shippou ride hidden between the baskets. Taking a final glance at the beautiful meadow they set out for home.
((I'll be back later when people are RPing here again, just don't want to cross times with my RPs))
