Tomas woke in his room. He sat up and blinked rubbing his head, "Were was I just now?" He looked around and sat on the edge of his bed. Standing he dressed quickly and left just as fast.
Katherine sat outside by the lake, looking out over the water and thinking. She wasn't sure what to do with herself at the moment.

Danny shrugged seeing as there wasn't much going on in the recreation room. He headed outside and just walked around.

Katherine noticed Danny in his wanderings and waved, "Hey!" She smiled and kept waving.
Tomas began looking for someone to talk to. He wasn't bored, he'd just never appreciated the art of being alone for long periods of time.

Danny smiled and waved back and jogged over to her. "Hey, what's up?"

Katherine shrugged, "Not much, just wasting the day, nothing seems to be going on.... so I'm a little bored I guess," She chuckled

Danny nodded and sat down next to her. "Yeah, pretty much." He looked down at the water to see some of the diffences that had happened. His tail wagged slowly.

Katherine giggled, "You know, it's kinda odd to see a boy with a tail, she pulled at a feather gently, as if making sure it would stay, "Though I can't really say anything," She giggled and stuck out her tung. She didn't mention that the wagging tail made her want to hug Danny.

He looked up at her. "Yeah, because a girl with feathers for hair is so much better." He chuckled and smiled at her. "Although, yellow eyes isn't very common either."

Katherine pointed her tung at Danny and then chuckled, "That's true....." Her smile slipped and she sighed, "What are we going to do? Are we really meant to stay here forever?" She looked over at Danny questioningly, "What do you think?"

Danny shrugged. "I don't know. If the changes continue it would probably be safer to stay here." He thought for a second. "If they don't, then I guess most of us could hide what has changed and get out of here."

Katherine looked at him sideways, "But most of us don't have any Family or friends left, where would we go?"

Danny just kind of looked at her blankly for a few seconds. "Maybe we could stick together anyways. This is like a foster home, so we can't get out until we're 18 anyways. But after that, I don't know."

Katherine went a little pink, "Oh... I didn't know." She looked out over the water. She pulled down her long sleeve to look at her arm. the outside was beginning to sprout feathers, a procedure she'd learned was vary painful at the rate they were moving so she had taken as much medicine as she could without killing herself and come out to the water. Now she'd made herself depressed, "I'm being ridiculous..." She chuckled again.

Katherine turned to him, "I've gone and gotten myself upset over something I can't do a thing about, thus, I'm being ridiculous." She smiled, "There's a part of my brain that keeps telling me to run. Tells me I've got to go find my parents." She ran a hand over her sleeve and pulled it back up, "But I know that they're either dead or wouldn't look at me twice before turning me away."
