"I'm sure she notices Raki... If not all the time at least every once in a while....... Its just she's not used to it and doesn't know how to respond. That and I'm sure the organization would frown upon her getting involved with you in that way...... but its always possible that she doesn't feel the same way, you have to know that."

Raki rests his head on his hand, his elbow on his knee "Your probably right about all of it. I'm a fool, not stupid. Me and Clare, like that, is almost certainly impossible. Sometimes I really wish I didn't feel this way about her, that I could find out where it is and shut it off. But I just can't."

"I'm not really hungry at the moment." Raki realized he was leaning aginst her but didn't care. Part of him felt a little bad about using her as an emotional crutch, seeking comfort from her when he got depressed about Clare. But he also was just a little deperate to connect with anyone. Plus she was pretty easy to get along with.

"I know the feeling..... but you really should try eating something." Aiya felt some comfort in mothering Raki. But it would only make her miss her brother and father more. But at the moment she didn't care.
