Johnson laughed, he patted Kalypso before turning to Wildfire. He rubbed the mare's stomach, feeling her foal kick. He continued to rub the mare's stomach, leaning slightly against her. "You know Amy, we better head inside and go see what's up with Colonel and Gwen and Gwen's mom. We still have to meet her."
Konoha snorted, lowering her head to graze. The rain had finaly passed, leaving behind wet ground and gray skies. She stood close to Path, flicking her ears constantly towards Shadow, snorting occaionaly when the foal would kick.
((Time skip will be this week or next week. Depending on how much time I have.))

Smiling, Amy gave Sundance a peice of carrot, and rubbed her forehead, before sliding the stall door closed, locking it and nodding to Johnson. She scracthed Wildfire's ears, getting an itcy spot for her.

Wildfire nickered happily. She glanced at the waiting stable boy and made a comical face.
The cook listed what was on the menu. Gwen grabbed Cedric's hand, smiling.

Kalypso snorted and quickly backed out of the stall to give all the crowded horses and humans room, accidently pulling the leadrope from Johnson's hands. He stood still in the barn's isleway with his head held high. His ears flickered around crazily and the leadrope just swung uselessly beneath his head. Kalypso snorted a laugh, finding this funny and twisted his head and tossed it, catching the swinging leadrope in his mouth and shoving Johnson hard in the shoulder, knocking him down. He snorted playfully and pranced out of and away from the stable with the leadrope dangling from his mouth, smiling triumphantly. He came to a sudden halt and worry filled his eyes wehn he saw all the unfamiliar men around the fort, all watching him.

Amy shook her head laughing as she watched Kalypso. "Johnson!" She said laughing. "Are you alright?" Amy said taking Johnson's hand and pulling him up laughing.
Sundance snorted and tossed her head, as if she was laughing. She reared playfully, tossing her head.

Cedric grinned at Gwen while he order. "What would you ladies like? Cook can always make somthing special if you want it." The cook rolled his eyes at Colonel but Cedric ignored him. "If you don't mind me asking how long will you be staying?"
Johnson stood and brushed off his jeans. "Yeah I'm fine no harm done." He was laughing and a huge grin lit his face. He watched Kalypso, "We better go get him." He walked after the stallion, paying no attention to any of the other men. "Let them be boy, their just wondering why your being so silly." Johnson laughed and stroked Kalypso, still covered in dust.

being around all the unfamiliar humans put Kalypso very on-edge. As soon as Johnson touched him, he flinched violently and side-stepped away. Instinct took over and he cantered away from him and Amy, his eyes rolling. He cantered around nervously, collecting himself and stepping high, his ears flickering about in every direction, the leadrope still dangling helplessly from his mouth.

Johnson continued to ignore the men, there was nothing he could do about them at the moment. He stepped toward Kalypso, keeping his body facing the stallion. "Kalypso, Kalypso. Here boy look at me, don't pay attention to them. Kalypso."

Kalypso stopped dead and looked around at all the strange people, his eyes anxious. He looked at Johnson as he called his name and neighed loudly. His voice was full of worry and discomfort. He took a few unsure steps toward Johnson, then halted again.

Johnson called to Kalypso again. "Kalypso boy it's ok. Come here." He glanced out of the corners of his eyes at the men, silently wishing that they would back away. "Come on boy."

Amy stood outside the stable, holding Wildfire's lead rope, watching Kalypso and Johnson. She watched the two carefully, patting Wildfire, everytime the foal nipped at her, and once a time looking in the stable, to make sure Sundance was ok.

Kalypso's ears continued flickering back and forth and whenever one of the men made a movement, however so slight it might be, his ears flew staright back, pinned to his head. He took a few more unsure steps towards Johnson, then halted again. One of the men tried to make a move towards him and he reared up, and bolted to Johnson, much to his wounded shoulder's dismay, and he halted next to him. He moved behind Johnson and attempted to hide himself by lowering his head to the ground and watching the men, his ears flat against his head. After a few minutes of cowering and snorted. 'Bah.' He though to himself and he picked his head back up, his ears maining flat, and he reared up and screamed, daring the men to come near him.

Johnson stared at the men, specialy the one who had dared to approach Kalypso. "All of you go back to your work. Leave the stallion alone." He turned to face Kalypso, grabbing his halter and tugging him back to the ground gently. "Kalypso, don't be mean to them. They don't know what their getting themselves into."

Kalypso snorted and pranced in place beside Johnson, picking his feet up high. He finally stopped, the leadrope still hanging uselessy from his halter, and snorted, his long forelock covering his face. He looked at Johnson and blew into his face. He began walking back towards the stable, pulling Johnson along.

"There's a good boy." Johnson patted Kalypso, wondering exactly how much the stallion trusted him. "You want to try something new boy?"
