Kanshin gasped as she watched Shun get eaten. "OH NO! She ate him! Kikyo-sempai, she's gonna eat us too! What'll we do?"
Kikyo looked to Kanshin and then to Shiori before shaking her head. "Not much we can do. I'm going to be useless soon since my chakara is almost completely blocked off and your chakara's pretty much spent. Unless your boy friend can pull something now, then we'll have to execpt defeat..."
Kanshin looked to Kikyo worriedly. "Y-you mean... we lost?"
Kikyo smiled a little. "I was counting on us to lose, Kanshin. You and I just put too much hard work into the beginning. Maybe they'll take us back to the base as prisoners. Hope so."
"Why would you want to be a prisoner?!?"
Kikyo continued smiling a little. "One, it'd teach me more humility. Two.... well, ok, guess there's not really a good number two besides the thought that there may be some sort of prison made out of jelly.... I'm starved."
Kanshin face palmed and sighed. "We're going to die..."

Hido sighed watching as shun was eaten, guess it washis go now... he'd try to end this quickly enough... Hido approached the slime creature stopping about six feet away and held permafrost, the scythe made of his own ice and chakra. "Flying swallow nin hunter..." He said simply, sounding almost bored with it. He watched as the blade and scythe itself extended seeing as it was already made of chakra, adding more chakra to it just made the whole thing larger. He looked at the slime creature before him, still eating it's last meal and chuckled. He lifted the scythe straight up into the air... and then let it fall, aiming the blade right at the slime generals shoulder, aiming to cleave into it's body.

((Nin hunter is just a Made-up version of Flying Swallow, does the same thing but at any time I can fire the chakra off of the blade lol but thats not what im going to do.))

Hido cocked an eyebrow as his blade sunk in, he honestly expected more than just letting it hit, at least a turn and glare... oh well this fight was over. See letting the blow strike from hido was a very bad mistake because it did two things. One it automatically connects his shadow to his opponents. This is obvious because since they are connected via his weapon it casts a shadow that connects the two. And second... "Permafrost." He said quickly, watching as the slime general he had just struck instantly froze into a block of black ice. Permafrost had a keeno nifty ability that, at any time, it can fire clouds of frost that freeze anything it touches. This combined with the shadow already attached to the general equals instant black ice. Incapable of being melted, and hardpressed to be broken in any way. Hido looked inside of the ice and held up samehada, placing it gently againt the edge of the ice. Using the chakra imbued ice as a medium the chakra draining properties of the blade samehada would take hold creating a small block of chakra draining ice. Even with that reversal ability in store, samehada was it's own entity, and with Hido's pure disruption he could connect the two and reverse or stop her own chakra draining. For now it seemed it would be up to her minions to save her.

Hido wtced the slime shrink and shook his head...it could't be that easy. He tapped the hilt of samehada, checking something... it was in fact still draining chakra... though not nearly an adequate amount that would be in a nin of this calibur. He grabbed the hilt of samehada gripping it in one hand and permafrost in the other and sighed. He let his twelve vectors unroll and pointed at the block of black ice causing them to shoot forward and shatter it. If she was still in there at all she would at least still be caught in the shadow.

Hido sighed as the ice had broken and revealed nothing that resembled a foe... So the general had either left or disappeared temporarily... oh well it didn't matter to him. Hido tapped the base of permafrost against the ground, letting the weapon disappear and then bit his thumb, drawing a beed of blood onto it. It was time for him to pull a disappearing act as well. He pressed his hand to the ground, a large summoning seal forming... and then disappeared, leaving behind no trace he was ever there in a puff of smoke.

Hidden Snow
Even when Hido had disappeared, there was still no sign of Shiori. She was alive, though, everyone there knew that. The only question was, where? For that matter, where was Hido? Being invisible wouldn't stop the slime girls from finding him, if he was still there, they would be able to detect the difference in water vapor where he was, noticing him as plain as day. Assuming he was still there, of course. At the same time, several of the slime girls charged for Kanshin and Kikyo, eager to resume battle with the two of them.

Hidden Snow
When the two humans stopped fighting, the slime girls weren't sure if it was a trick or not. So they waited a moment, but nothing more happened. Then, seizing upon the opportunity, they rushed forward, and gobbled up Kanshin and Kikyo, and they were gone, sent off to the same place as all the rest.

Things had been proceeding at a decent pace, but then sped up quickly. The slime girls had been in the process of swallowing Kanshin and Kikyo, when all of a sudden there was a third body getting shoved down their gullets, that of their other opponent, Hido. They didn't fight it, although the idea of a trick passed through more than one of their minds. And sure enough, even as he was swallowed, chakra exploded off of his leg, creating a bit of havoc as several of the slime girls were torn apart. Too late to save the humans, but still enough to be a nuisance putting themselves back together before they could resume their attack. Compared to that, the invisible fire wasn't much of a problem at all, since they had sensed the location of the giant chameleon. Since they sensed things through water vapor, big invisible flames stood out just as well as regular flames, as they evaporated the water vapor in their path, essentially painting a neon light pointing in the direction they were going. So the slime girls easily prepared for that, and ate the flames, dealing with the aftereffects as time went on. There didn't seem to be anyone else around to oppose them, so they could take their time resuming the assault on Snow.
