Ryo woke up the next day at 9:00 am ((U.S. EST)) and headed for the training field to meet Haku. He was alreadt there kicking a tree with hard force.
"Are you ready?" Haku said without turning around or stopping his kicks.
"Yeah, I'll start now on the dummies" Ryo replied, pulling out his sowrd and making the half-sheep hand seal. "Secret Art; Demonic Ice Mirrors."
The Mirrors appeared and Ryo started darting in and out of them.
Demonic Ice Mirrors 9/12
He slashes up the dummy some when the sphere of glass starts rising into the air.
"Secret Art; Devil Region Ice Death!" Ryo yelled as he started to flash through the mirrors slicing up the dummy with speed and power.
Haku stared at him as Ryo continued to pound on the dummy until it was shambles while Ryo continued to destroy it.
Demonic Ice Mirrors 10/12
The Ice finally broke sending shards into all directions while Ryo flew back to the ground flipping as he went. Straw started floating down besides Ryo.
"Very nice" Haku said. "Now try it on me."
"Okay, just let me recharge my chakra" he said.
Ryo crouched down holding a sheep seal to recharge his chakra with his eyes closed.
Demonic Ice Mirrors 11/12
Ryo finished charging and stood up and onpened his eyes. He created the mirrors without a word, and started his attack. Ryo started dodging around Haku slicing him, only hitting small Senbon somehow due to Haku's skill with them. The ice ball flew int the air, and Haku dodged a slash and flew at one of the mirrors, breaking it. Both the men landed and Ryo put his sword back into the holster and smiled.
"Very good" Haku said with a smile. "Now, go eat some breakfast"
"Smell ya later" Ryo said as he walked away nonchalantly.

Return Home (recap) Naomi had to leave her comrads and board the last available boat to Hidden Mist.
Naomi arrived at Hidden Mist and headed into town. Naomi could hear people whispering. She then noticed a woman run into a house. Naomi stopped and looked at the house a while. She then began to flashback to when her and her mother had come home from getting groceries and went into that same house. Naomi shook it off as she continued walking with Jarumi right behind her. "Naomi?!? Naomi! Is that you?!?" exclaimed a woman as she ran from the house toward Naomi. "It is yyou! Oh Naomi I'm so happy to see you!" she squeeled hugging Naomi tightly. After a quick reintroduction Naomi and Jarumi joined Naomi's mother Kiahria for tea. "Damian... oh Damian yes. He is currently on a mission I believe." "Oh, well if you see him then can you tell me?" asked Naomi quickly drinking her tea as she began to stand. "Come now. Rest that boat ride must have taken a lot out of you. Stay and rest up-" "I don't think I should." "And why not?" "I don't want to be in your way." said Naomi sternly as Kiahria looked at her. "Is this about when I sent you to Konoha?" "No, its about how you deserted me for no reason and left me to myself." said Naomi her voice rasping..

Reasoning "I should have told you this the last time you were here." "Told me what?" "As you already know from Neji's parents. I'm not your mother, Mamimi Sotoro is." "Yes, they told me when I found her dead in her house." "Yes... my condolences. Your father is not my husband Boro but Shoyru Yoshitaru a brave ninja who fought against the Nine Tailed Fox." "He's dead too?" "Yes. While he was fighting in the war your mother and you, newly born, were stationed here in my home until the war ended. When your mother found out about his death she abandoned you here with me." "I don't care for that... why did you give me away and not return for me?" "I couldn't take care of you but now since Gatou has been killed I have found new currency although a little too late. Until now we were under captivity by Gatou we were very lucky to have gotten you to Konoha in one piece." "Why didn't you stay with me?" "Boro was very sick and we had no money for medical attention there. We knew a doctor back here and so we had to leave you." "Where is Boro?" "He didn't make it back." replied Kiahria as dense air filled the room.

Stupid Boulder
Jarumi leaped from Naomi's bag and nudged her a little as Naomi picked him up. As she looked into his eyes it seemed as though he said "Don't cry. You promised you'd never cry. Everything will be okay." Naomi hugged Jarumi tight as Kiahria rubbed her back. "I must train." said Naomi looking at Kiahria. "If you must. Dinner will be ready soon so hurry back." she replied as the two quietly when in seperate dircetions. "Thank you Jarumi. I almost lost my cool. I can't believe Boro died... I can't believe how I treated Kiahria..." said Naomi as the two went into the Mist Village forest. Naomi found a large boulder and began to focus her chakra into her hands. She thrust her hand toward the rock attempting to break it. Naomi struck the boulder but nothing happened. "Huh?" thought Naomi focusing her chakra again. She struck the boulder and again nothing happened. "Brute strength alone does not help." said a voice as Naomi spun around. "What the? Am I going mad?" asked Naomi as Jarumi seemed to strug. "Eh, your no help." said Naomi still trying to break the boulder. "Errrrr, I can't seem to break it." exclaimed Naomi punching the boulder as hard as she could.

Just Lose It Naomi noticed that the boulder had not a scratch on it. She then began to flail at the boulder as her anger grew. "Break you stupid thing! Break!" she yelled as Jarumi watched her in confusion. Naomi began to pound harder and faster using up all of her energy. "Break!........ Why? Why won't you break?......I've used everything I had to break you and yet...." Naomi stopped pounding the boulder and leaned onto it. She tapped it slightly with her fingertip as she slumped to the floor. "Brute strength alone does not destroy an army." said the voice again as Naomi panted surcumbed by the boulder. "Why must you continue to attack the stone? Use your head Naomi." concluded the voice as Naomi jolted up. "What... Who is calling me? And how do you know my name?" "Break the rock and answers shall come." "Wait your the one who's been making riddles for me to solve. Leave me alone!" "Are you certain?" "No, you have been aiding me but I must train alone." replied Naomi focusing her chakra. "Why must you train alone?" "Because..." said Naomi realizing she had been stumped.

Strength Is Not A Key...It's A Tool Naomi sat on the ground and pondered a little. "Because... I don't want people to get close. I sometimes think they might neglect me and leave me alone." "But because you don't want people to get too close you are alone anyway. Isn't it true you also fear you may have to help them achive their dreams all at once? And you fear that one day you'd have to decline one-" "How did you-" "Strength is a giving but knowledge is better." "Again with the riddle-" "Calm yourself and focus your mind. Free the thoughts that prevent your ninja genius from arising. Feel the pulsation of calm and you will see." "See what?!?" exclaimed Naomi awaiting the voice to respond. "I guess it's gone. But what is it?" asked Naomi as Jarumi whimpered something. "A spirit? Maybe the spirit needs me to break the rock and the key is to calm my mind." asked Naomi looking at Jarumi and then the rock. Jarumi nodded and panted as Naomi focused on the rock. She did not focus her chakra instead she lightly pounded the bouder numorous times to test it's strength. She then readied to attack the boulder again.

Finally Naomi focused her chakra and looked at the boulder. Cowboy music begins to play as Jarumi shakes his head from her slowness. In slow motion Naomi lunges towards the boulder. Jarumi barks as Naomi stops acting stupid and strikes the boulder. Everything is still for a moment then the boulder breaks in two as Naomi and Jarumi leap around in excitement. After a few more boulders, some trees, and an old guys cart. The two return to Kiahria's house for dinner. "Jarumi... you could hear the spirit talking couldn't you?" asked Naomi as they began to enter. Jarmi nodded yes as Naomi pondered on his response. "You need more friends instead of talking to Jarumi." "Jarumi is my best pal so I'll always talk to him... Mom- I mean Mrs. Kiahria I'm sorry about earlier I-" "No need. You were upset and needed answers. Lets just forget that and eat dinner." she replied as the room livened up. Everyone danced and sang after dinner. Naomi told Kiahria stories of her journeys and experiences. And then they all fell fast asleep. Naomi awoke later in the night and wonndered how her comrads were doing. She then thought herself to sleep.

Mitsuko stepped off her swordfish of ice and back to her homeland. There was no need to see Raiga, unless she wanted to die. Mitsuko went to her sensei's house. Her sensei back in her academy days. "Shuji-sensei!" Mitsuko knocked. Her tedious sensei appeared and his jaws dropped. "Mitsuko, your back, and I heard that your a chuunin now!"
Mitsuko smiled and told Shuji-sensei about all of her training. Shuji listened with interest, but there was a sad look on his face. Mitsuko asked why and Shuji went on to explain all that has happened while she was away.

Apparently, the other academy graduates massacred eachother as a part of a ceremony thing. It was really hard for people to live with the fact that they killed their best friends. If a person continued to be a shinobi after that, they were bound to be strong. This is how hidden mist is one of the top shinobi villages.
Mitsuko said goodbye to her old sensei and went to find Haku, another one of her sensei. Haku was sewing by the riverside, this time, however, she was dressed in the clothes of a guy. Mitsuko thought this was weird but that probably just meant Haku had a twisted sense of fashion.

"Mitsuko, it is good to see you again, I heard that most Genins have lost their lives to further the ambitions of others." said Haku with out a shred of emotion. Mitsuko nodded and asked if Haku was willing to teach her more techniques.
"I don't have too many techniques, but I do have one that you will undoubtedly find very useful. It is called bringing of water."
Mitsuko liked the sound of the jutsu. Most of her jutsus needed water to perform. It will be great if she can just bring water out of nowhere.

"By changing the temperature high in the clouds above, you can make the water too heavy for the cloud to hold. Heavy moisture means rain. In hidden mist, there is constantly mist, so there isn't much need for such a technique, but I shall show you what it is like."
Haku made a few one handed seals and at first there was no response anywhere. Then the clouds over head became black and rain started to fall. First it was just a drizzle, but then it started pouring. Haku gave a half-smile and sayed:"I haven't quite found a way to stop it yet."

Mitsuko was surprised at the amount of intelligence Haku possessed. Along with her powerful Kekkai Genkai, She was bound to be great. Mitsuko went away and thought about the technique. There was no use doing it right now, it was already raining.
This technique will be the backbone of all my techniques now, thought Mitsuko as she went to her sensei's house for a bit of shelter. Once again she thanked whatever god that made Haku her teacher. She was so friendly and patient and skillful. A bit boring though.

The rain finally stopped, but Mitsuko thought against practicing the technique on clouds for now. Once she gets the cloud to rain, it'll delay her training. So in her room, she tried to remember what she did for ice release techniques. Focusing her chakra, she strted causing the heavy moisture in the room to fall as rain. It wasn't hard. She knows many ice techniques and water started forming on all the surfaces in the room.
Satisfied that she still remembered her training, Mitsuko hoped that there will be a cloud folloing her whereever she goes. No cloud means no rain.

There was more work to be done. The cold chakra must ride on an air current as an extension of her chakra. The clouds are REALLY high up so there was going to be at least thirty seconds before the rain comes. After learning flying swallow technique from Asuma sensei, Mitsuko already knew how to use extensions of her chakra as wind. Making it rain will be combining cold with wind.
It was only natural that Haku thought of these techniques, since he was an ice type user. Mitsuko has seen the power of his demonic mirror ice crystals, and she has no doubt that bringing of water was atleast B-rank.

Mitsuko stood out in a field and concentrated. Doing Haku's hand seals, she sent a cold current amongst the clouds. She waited for a minute, nothing happened. Probably didn't use enough chakra, thought mitsuko as shetried again. The clouds above shifted a little and became grey. This was a good sign. However, there were no rain drops on her face.
Mitsuko sighed and calculated the elevation. If she did it right, the rain should have started already. She did put enough chakra into it, but it probably did not travel far enough.
