Still smiling, Leilani sat back and stretched her legs out infront of her. Each time she changed, her legs always seemed to amaze her. "About me? There isn't much to me but what would you like to know first?"

I don't know... Tsukasu started, blushing softly. How about your full name? Age? Background? Where did you grow up? What sort of things do you like? Have you always been able to have legs? Those sort of things, everything! he said with a bright smile.

Leilani laughed a little then laid back on the grass, her hair off to one side, thrown in random directions. "Well, my given name is Del'rae and I have no middle name that I know of. I'm 19 years of age and I grew up in the sea far away from here." Her tropical blue eyes became a little dreamy as she thought of her home. "I lived in a tropical area with many other mermaids. We had an elder and a few clan leaders but we never had trouble with rouge merpeople or anything. But one day a terrible storm came through and made the currents strong. It pulled me out to sea where I eventually ended up here." She sighed to herself, missing her family the most. "As for the legs, the elder taught all who wished to know an ancient spell that would allow our fins to split into human legs so that we may venture onto the surface. It was originally created to allow some merpeople to leave and come back with information on the sorts of things that occured like the humans, animals, and plantlife." She wiggled her toes, remembering the day she had learned the spell and had been quite excited about getting to explore new things. Curiousity had always been a part of her. "How about you?"

Wow, seems like quite an adventure of a life you've had so far, Tsukasu said, laying back on the grass as well. I'm sorry you were seperated from your loved ones, I'm sure it's hard, I know I would be very upset if I was seperated from some of my family, he said, thinking about it. Do you know the area you grew up? I wonder if they're all still there, he said, closing his eyes. What about me? As in, my name? My age? My background? he laughed.

Leilani nodded some as she looked up to the sky. "I think about them often. And worry. I don't even know where they ended up after the storm..." She didn't want to think that any of the could have ended up hurt or worse. She just wouldn't allow herself to think that way. "I'm sure some still remain in that area...but I probably couldn't find it again." She then glanced at him and nodded again. "Anything and everything. I like learning about people and things."

Tsukasu nodded some, thinking quietly for a moment. She was a very interesting person, but she seemed delicate, not wanting to think the worst of anything, and he liked that in a person - optimism. He sighed softly, smiling to her. Well, my name is No Tsukasu Min Sung, and I'm half Japanese, half Korean. I spent most of my 16 years with my father, in his home, where I was not allowed to spend hardly any time outside. Just a little while ago, I moved in with my mother, where I found out I was much happier... I learned to love the outdoors very much, and I strongly dislike being inside for too long these days, then we moved here, and I found the gardens, and fell in love with them... he said, taking a deep breath. Yeah, that's pretty much it, I'm very boring...

"I don't think you're boring at all!" Leilani smiled to him then tilted her head. His father seemed a bit tight on the rope but she decided not to say anything in fear of bringing up unhappy memories. "You've probably seen a lot while being outdoors. It always changes." She laughed a little to herself. "Like the winter. I never knew it could be so cold! Did you have seasons where you used to live?" It might have seemed like a silly question but in her old home, there had barely been any changes when the seasons went from one to the next.

Tsukasu laughed softly, nodding to her. Yes, I've seen a lot... I really love the spring time, it's so beautiful, especially in Japan where my mother used to live, he said. I don't know about it always changing, in the other realm where I grew up, there were seasons, but I didn't pay much attention to them when I was indoors, he said frowning slightly. It wasn't that my father was mean, or that he didn't want me to go outside, he was very over protective. He didn't want me to get hurt.

"But once the block drops, we'll be able to put it back, right?" Calix was always sceptical when it came to having people he didn't know teach him. But Evangelia was ready and willing. "If you can teach us, he'd be forever grateful. At least, I will be." She couldn't speak for him.
Atari nodded enthusiastically to the others. Yes! If you can create a block, keep it up, and take it back down, then you'll have learned how to do it, and can keep doing it! If you want, we can see how well you guys can set one up right now? He offered a bright, fanged smile to the twins and sort of wiggled in a happy gesture to himself.

Leilani turned her head to look at him, her hands under her head acting like a make-shift pillow. "The spring is very nice...though I think I like summer better. It reminds me of home, I suppose. Plus, the water's much warmer in the summer." She then nodded a little, understanding how his father was. "My family was a bit protective too but only because there were other dangers in the sea. They didn't want me to get eaten by a shark or something."

The twins looked at one another, Calix shrugging and Evangelia looking a bit nervous. "I suppose we could try...but we've tried before. It didn't work too well."

Atari frowned some as he looked back and forth from one to the other. Maybe...you weren't taught right? He knew that was probably definitely not the case, but there was always possibility, wasn't there? He offered a coy smile and purred softly, tilting his head some to Evangelia. You think of something, think of something loudly. Turning to Calix, his purring softened to a rather inaudible noise. You close your eyes and just think of quite things. Happy things, if it helps...Something that will make her voice fade from your mind. Atari nodded to himself and pawed at the ground to either side of himself.

Tsukasu nodded, looking to the girl as he spoke. Yeah, I can understand why a mermaid would enjoy the summertime, he said with a soft laugh. I think that my father was afraid of everything, which is really strange, since he wasn't the most self-centered person. He didn't much care if anything happened to him so long as nothing happened to those around him. I don't know, he said, his voice sort of softening as his words stopped. He looked up to the sky.

The two tried as Atari suggested but after a whort while, Calix just looked annoyed with Evangelia. He couldn't concentrate on something quiet when she was nearly yelling in his mind. She offered him an appologetic smile in return. "I don't think we can do this on an empty stomach and knowledge that we have no where to live right now."

Leilani looked back at the sky and thought about his words. His father might have been overly protective but it sounded like he would have given his life for his children. "He doesn't sounds too bad. He just loved you all and wanting you safe."

Atari nodded to the others, and after watching them a moment, he offered a smile. If you want I can help you find somewhere to go! I haven't been here long, but my sister might be willing to help you. He looked back and forth to the others a moment longer before smiling again. I can help you find food, too!

Before Calix could open his mouth to decline the offer, Evangelia agreed with a smile. "We'd love your help. Cali and I wouldn't even know which direction to take." Her brother grumbled, like he always did, but he knew she was right. They had been wandering alone for long enough and hadn't really gotten anywhere.
