[[It's hard to play without Kind.... T.T ]]

Sakeri's knuckles cracked sadistically, her emerald eyes flashing toward the towns. Black smoke molded silvery black claws around her hands as they flashed beneath the midday sun. She was ready. In a flash she raced toward the closest town, claws at the ready. The grass bowed subservantly as she passed with exhilerating speed.

One down... she thought with a grin, suddenly a flash of white blazed its way before her. Sakeri reacted quickly, heels digging into the ground with an unknown force, quickly coming to a stop. Before her stood a young man, his crimson eyes framed by snowy white hair and a pair of cat-like ears. He gave her a steady glare, hand fingering the large blade at his side.

"Planning something, Woman?" he inquired coldly. Sakeri gazed at him, eyes flashing mockingly.

"Kitty want to come out and play?" she cooed, sauntering around him.

That man... I helped, wouldn't dare betray me.. Would he? Angsk stopped at a corner of an intersection and looked back, Nah, Humans can't be that bad... As he waited for the sign to allow him to cross, his stomache growled. He gripped his stomache as he looked around for a place to eat. Across the street, he noticed a sandwich place. As the sign permitted him to cross, he ran across and entered the store.

As Angsk viewed the menu, he noticed two men staring at him. Angsk looked back at them, and the two men sneered at him. As Angsk finished his order, he walked up to the table the two men sat at. The two men were wearing a ragged, torn button up shirt, as well as torn up jeans. They were both wearing black bandanas. " What are you two looking at eh? " The two men looked at eachothe and just laughed. Angsk chuckled as he walked away. Pests... " Angsk, your order is ready! " He looked up at the worker, and grabbed his food. As he walked out eating his sandwich, he noticed the two men following him in the corner of his eye. As the two men followed, Angsk grinned, walking into an alleyway.

'I try to hide. You inside me. You special too, so I don't kill you now. Move....please....' the last word left his mouth like it burned him. He didn't really like have to speak the human tongue, but it seemed that all humanoids couldn't comprehend all the intricacies of body language. Not to mention the fact that he couldn't use his whole body without being discovered. His two dimensional face plastered on the tree bark sighed, and turned it's eyes towards the group with the human.

...I don't kill you now. It was that phrase that stuck with her. She frowned. Dying, she wasn't done yet with living. She stepped away from the tree, but still not too far. She was out in the open, where the strange people could see her. She wasn't sure if she mind or not. If this was an event to be recorded then her presence might effect things, still if it did it would just cause more things to be recorded.

So she did what seemed the most natural thing to do. She sat down, crossed legged from the ground. Her eyes toward the group, but her attention split to the entity in the tree. She wondered what it was. her curiosity made her skin itch. She wanted to ask more questions, but it said it was hiding, so to do so would only cause his presence to be possibly discovered. She lifted her hand, if she touched it she should be able to see what lied inside.

It was only fair if it knew she was 'special' that she should know more about it as well. She reached out.

Ch'Karra let her touch his face. 'You annoying. But voices tell me not to kill you. I do what voices say, and they lead me to good food. So I do it now, also.' He didn't really know what to make of the situation. Even though she was annoying, she still did what he told her to. He guessed she could be trusted.

The vegetation in this part of the park had gotten out of hand. Bushes grew unchecked into the pathways, with long blades of grass climbing eagerly up tree trunks all around. The sky was fairly clear, for a harbor city, and only a light chill remained enough in the air to remind anyone of the nearby ocean. With everything considered, it was a nice day to be walking; one could walk in weather like this for hours without even breaking a sweat.

Exodus kept his hands in his pockets as he walked slowly along the pathway, avoiding the snares the reaching bushes tried him with. You think they'd get these paths cleared.. some people don't enjoy having to buy a new coat every time they go for a walk. The thought left him laughing softly. As if he should worry about his jacket being torn by a branch. It'd already been through far, far more.

His hands left his pockets for a moment, exposing pristine white gloves
over each. Deftly, the lowered the hood covering his face, revealing a shock of messy black hair, and crystal sharp eyes, all put into contrast by his pale-ish skin. He quickly covered his mouth and nose with the black bandanna he kept around his neck, then raised the hood loosely over his head again. Out of everything on him, only one object told even the smallest hint about Exodus. With the bandanna raised off his chest, a silver cross pendant was visible.

Exodus took a turn in the path ahead and came to an abrupt start. He saw someone, through the trees to the left; a small clearing was visible, showing a woman on the far side... she was...

Now this is bizarre. Exodus raised an eyebrow and grinned. Apparently the woman was feeling the tree, although for what reason Exodus couldn't even begin to fathom. He nearly turned away when the cross on his chest flared slightly, then when silent; a sign that there was magic of some sort near. Frowning, he turned back to look at the woman, and moved further into the trees by the clearing. Settling down by a trunk, he waited, and watched.

((P.S. To everyone who may read this, my profile was accepted, just not put up yet. To settle the number one issue that's been brought to my attention, Exodus realizes there is more than one god, but cares not. In the Christian faith they are told to believe in only one god; therefore, the gods found it easiest to make him their purifier by making him believe his being directed by the Christian god, rather than a god from another culture. So, in conclusion he accepts other gods, but follows only one in his mind.))

The corner of Shale's mouth quirked up at the words the tree/shadow thing spoke. Annoying? She didn't mind being called that. She often gotten told that and many other descriptors because of her curiosity, but it was a driving force inside her. She couldn't contain it, and as she prodded into the thing's memory she was given a glimpse of the creature eating a cat and coming from a dumpster.

Then she was there, tasting it, the fur and flesh. She gagged and pulled back from the memory, dropping her hand in the process. She was lucky to only have seen a short memory, instead of the usual flood of memories she got. Still she was licking her lips, trying to get the taste out of her mouth.

"I like cats," she said simply, a almost childish response to the memory she'd been shown. She started to say more when she felt a ripple through the air, something that showed the events that she was to record had heightened.

Curiously she looked around her, seeing if there had been any physical change or if it was something that could not be seen with normal vision.

'Me too. Taste good.' All his teeth showed, his fanged grin looking slightly crazed. He was starting to like this woman.

He smelled the new special one several hundred feet behind him, and his face glided horizontally across the tree trunk, till he was facing him. This side of the tree had splotches of light coming through the leaves, so his face appeared to have holes in it. He couldn't see the man behind the bushes, but he knew he was there. 'I bored...Maybe I just kill them all...They keep coming...' He growled, thinking aloud.

Exodus peered intently through his semi-thick screen of leaves and foliage. He wasn't worried about being spotted visibly by the woman. Her attention seemed focused on the tree more than anything else, and within his black clad clothing he felt relatively invisible to a straying eye. His breathing did not even pick up as she looked around. Unless he entered his Fade form, he emitted a very low aura; not indetectible, for sure, but still low enough to make him hard to pinpoint exactly.

He knew that he could be as easy to sense the woman as she was to him. His God had told him that. He knew that there were others, made from other Gods, who would either help him or hinder him in his mission; the trick was telling which side one such person was on.

A flicker of motion on the tree caught his attention, drawing his eyes to the trunk. Something seemed different than before, as if a spot of the trunk had gained a darker hue. He was unable to make it out clearly from this distance. Frowning, he started to back silently away; something wasn't entirely right in this clearing.

Pushing through the crowd, Mark managed to attract a fair bit of attention to himself pushing towards the general, hoping Amadeus was in tow; he wasn't sure.

The MPs weren't too happy about it, but they weren't strong enough to stop him.

"You! General! I need to speak to you!" he shouted. "You must allow us to help you!"

Izzy looked back at Ryn in just in time to see him sway. It was apparent that he was still in a bad condition to be traveling. Worry was obvious in her face, and even though Ryn smiled she knew he was still kinda weak from loss of blood. She toook a few steps cback, so that she was standing next to Ryn. "you're still weak. You shouldn't be moving around." she said quietly. She stood there, trying to figure out how he was going to get around when she remembered. She looked toword Tamwyn and said, "is there anyway that you can make Ryn float like you did when we first came here? when you're done disguiseing him that is."

((it's short, but my brain is tired.))

Amadeus was going to recommend that they wait for things to clear up a bit, when Mark just brute-forced his way into the crowd and right towards the general. "Umm, Mark? I don't think that's a good idea..." he said, trying to keep up with the human-cyborg through the crowd. "Generals normally don't like informals meetings like this."

'Then again,' he thought, the present situation isn't exactly normal, now is it?'

He just hoped that General Whats-His-Face would be willing to deal with someone like Mark at the present moment. He also hoped that Mark didn't do anything rash or stupid. Considering the cyborg's intellect, however, he highly doubted the guy would do something that fell into either of those categories.

...

General Mateus William Schenk was, at the present moment not a happy man. His home base had just been blown to pieces, and none of the U.S.'s intelligence operations had the faintest idea who was behind it. Worse yet, no one was certain whether or not the terrorists were still around, just waiting to pick off a General or two.

Like him.

However, his job right now was damage control, and that meant dealing with the media who was stupid enough to arrive at the scene of the Pentagon's destruction. How could anyone expect the pea-brained news stations to have enough sense to stay AWAY from the danger? So here he was, giving his report to NBC or CNN or whatever the hell their stupid acronyms were. The report itself was absolute BS, since no one in the military had any information about the attack. But the American public does not take kindly to a lack of information, so he was giving the usual junk about how the government isn't quite sure who is the culprit, but the intelligence ops are working on the problem even as we speak. Which was a lie.

Out of the corner of his eye, Schenk noticed a man shoving his way through the crowd towards him. He seemed to be in a rush, and he definitely looked like a mess. Like he'd been through WWII and back again. Schenk definitely did not feel like talking to a hobo/bum like this guy at the present moment, but it looked like he had no choice, especially when the man vocally called out to him. Sighing and rolling his eyes, he waited for the man to reach him, which didnt' take very long.

"What do you want, son?" He growled. "I'm not exactly available at the moment, so make it quick."

((Obviously, text in red is me playing NPCs, which will probably be happening more often in the future. During combat, I'll have separate posts, instead of just jamming them together with Amadeus.))

[[Hey, Tan, could you turn the red into green? Red is kinda for the gods, but green is for human NPCs. Black, I'd also like you to change your color. That way roleplayers will be able to decipher what's from the gods, and what's from you.]]

((Fixed. I must've missed that lil' detail when going over the rules of the roleplay. o.O

But yeah... Shenk will now post in Green. *nodnod*))

[[lol, sorry. It really isn't in the rule section, but I established that the gods wrote in red in the introduction. Green was established later for human puppet NPCs. I just wanted the two colors so people would know when to read a particular post. Red basically means everyone aside from humans and andriods need to read it. Green... orginally was for anyone on the defender's side had to read it because it would move the plot from the defender's side, while red did so for all sides.]]
