No offense to anybody, but I noticed that every anime fan has some sort of love for Invader Zim, or just likes it... a lot. Enough to own shirts, stickers, bags, etc.
Is there some sort of connection? Cuz' I see no relation between the two.

Fox: No clue, other then stylistically. It might even be a step up for most, because Zim's a hell of a lot more intelligent then most of the recycled crap they spit in kids mouths over the world these days.

... pretty much what Sun said. I think I used to have a t-shirt, but I remember most of the merchandise coming out after the show was canned by Nickelodeon for being too extreme.
Either way they still have a marketing machine in Spongebob.

I love anime.
But I think these days they're filtering out all the intelligent anime and force feeding generics to kids. Watered down and washed out.
