Sorry Konami!
I've been decent, I just wish my sister would stop using me...

*catches up on posts* @_@

Kari: Yes, I've also heard that eating small amounts frequently is one of the best ways to manage morning sickness. Some non-caffeinated teas are naturally soothing as well, such as ginger and peppermint. And generally first-time mommies don't start showing an obvious baby belly until about five months. Second babies and onward show faster because your womb's already been stretched. There's this awkward period between three and four months where you just feel fat. *heh*

Lucca Ashtear
Bri? Meri? Anyone else? How do I get a job as a dev? I want that job more than anything else in the world. Do I even have a chance anymore...? I wouldn't blame Gaia for not wanting me, really. I don't think I'd be all that pleasant to work with.

Lucca: I work for a staffing company, and one thing I've heard often is that while skills can be taught, personality is ingrained. While hiring someone with zero skills and no work experience is inefficient, hiring someone with personality or character issues can be downright dangerous. Staff and Moderators must be able to do their jobs "backstage" and ideally will be able to get along with the existing team members, but must also be equally able to present the appropriate face to the userbase. It makes sense, no? Why would any company, when presented with a large group of candidates who are all equally qualified skill-wise, deliberately hire someone who presents a potential liability in their personality or working style or some other such "soft skill"?

Jude Halliwell: I know plenty of women who want large families. Try finding a nice traditional girl in a church youth group. XD

*gives Jen a massage* ; ; Try not to overdo it...somehow...amidst all your busy-ness.

Vin: Ooh, chili pepper chocolate. I've heard of salted chocolate and bacon chocolate but not chili pepper chocolate. Sounds...ouchy. XD

Sunny: I hope you had a lot of fun at Anime Expo! ^^

*pounces on Konami and cheekrubs her until she grinds down into powder* heart I wouldn't forget you even two years after leaving Gaia myself.

Meri: I tried peppermint tea, but that seemed to give me heartburn... im finally doing a little better.. I eat a rice-cake as soon as i wake up.. have a bagel or cereal a half hour to an hour later. Then crackers, fruits and nuts during the day.

Oh and something that I found that helps with heartburn? Eating almonds. I had horrible horrible heartburn last night. Tossed and turned for about 3-4hrs. I had read online that almonds, marshmallows, and the syrupy juice from canned fruit are to help with heartburn. I had almonds on hand so i ate about 5-8 of them... within 5 minutes i was fine and able to sleep.

Oh, awesome. I'd never heard of the almond trick before, or marshmallows either. I wonder what it is in them that helps upset stomachs. o_O

For the almond trick, you gotta test it out first because for some people it makes it worse. I was glad it worked for me XD

I actually read two different things with marshmallows... one was to just eat them. The other was use the marshmallow root to make tea O.o i think i'd rather enjoy eating them XD they supposedly coat your throat so that lessens the heartburn feeling.

It's been a long hard road without you by my side. Why weren't you there all the nights that we cried?

**hugs Bri** D8 Feel better soon! D8

Meri: The chili chocolate isn't that bad... It sounds more painful then it really is. I can't stand anything spicy at all, and I will admit that it did burn, but not as bad as it could have been.

*hugs Bri* Too much good food?

Sunny: Awww that sucks. When I was there last I was a number or two away from the OMG hat.

Edit: I made my first quill!

Kari: Oi...so it's hit-or-miss with the almonds, hey? XD That would suck if someone didn't know that and recommended almonds to a queasy friend only to find out that their friend was one of the types who have an adverse reaction!

Sunny: Ooh, tough luck on the minis. Maybe next year! ^^

*rubs Bri's tummy* ; ; Um...marshmallow? *holds one up*

Vin: I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy food, so I'll stay away from chili-pepper chocolates. ^^; I'll just stick with good old fashioned dark.

I dont remember an announcement for this item. How does one go about obtaining it? XD

Meri: ya... almost all home-remedies are a case by case basis. Like Peppermint tea is supposed to help nausea, but for me I got really bad heartburn.

*snugs everyone* heart
