Cale Darksun It never hampered the Red ARC from the clone wars cartoon. and lets see him dodge the intesive fire of twin DC-17 hand repeaters. I fear I must point out that in that same cartoon, Windu beats the crap out of about fifty droids with his fists. It takes a rather liberal view of characters' abilities. But we're comparing with another cartoon here, so maybe it's still valid. Carry on.

Nospai Deathous Cale Darksun ARC's arent human either. they're clones. The toughest clones in the galaxy. Hero aint got nothin on me. um.. clones of a human. lol. so they're human. and it's Heero. Clonetroopers are genetically altered to be stronger, tougher, and faster than even their human base(Jango) to make them super soldiers. an ARC is the culmination of the process that went into developing a clonetrooper. they are the best of the best. They may be human, but they are so far superior to humans that they can fight on at least equal footing with Heero. Plus an ARC has far more training than Heero.

Nospai Deathous Heero isn't human, he's a newtype. evolved human. he has abilities even clones don't have. so what, he has a slight sense of precognition? Newtypes are overrated. They can be killed just like normal humans. In theory battle droids are suposed to be superior to humans but Copy kills them all the same. Heero's easy pickings outside of his gundam. And given how hard Heero is on his machines, its not a long wait until he abandons it.

err... easy pickings outside of his gundam? he's the only one who matches wufei in hand-tohand combat, and he's been handling guns since he was a small child. he's had a more rigorous training regimen than the clones to: reality. he's been trained as a weapon since he was a child. but in the real world environment.

so have clones. your point? Clones are bred from the DNA of a sociopathic soldier and then trained to be proffesional soldiers their entire lives. They're bred to be soldiers. And what makes you think Copy would let the little b*****d get close enough for hand to hand?

well, Heero had the strength and dexterity to fire at the control room of a heavily defended command tower using a rocket launcher, when he was only 10 or 11. only way it was blocked was by the armor of an MS. even then, it was a direct hit.
he's also been trained to control his heartrate and levels of consciousness, as well as other important body functions. plus his body can absorb massive amounts of kinetic energy.
he's also regarded as the perfect soldier, usually above Trowa because he's better at assessing targets and strategizing. if Heero doesn't get close, he can still take an ARC out.

You see, thats why you shoot them twice. Once to drop them, another time to make sure they're not faking. ARCs are trained to use a variety of weapons too. Plus all the gear they got enhances an already deadly machine.

have you read episode zero?
heero's done more at a young age than even the clones did at their relative age.
