Thanks everyone for the hugs and huggles! I appreciate the love and support! It means so much to me right now. *huggles everyone back* (thank goodness illnesses don't spread via the internet)
In the good news department my father-in-law was willing to take the papers we needed to get in to the loan officier to him so things there can still be worked on. We may be able to close early.
The bad news is that I've probably got this flu too. We didn't get me in to the doctor, but minus the high fever I've got the symptoms. My OB told me not to come in for my appointment today, but if I'm in labor to get to Labor and Delivery. She also started me on Tamiflu.
Also good news is that I'm feeling less frazzled tonight than I was last night. Trying to look on the bright side really the best thing for the baby is to stay put. Aaaaand if I really do have this flue I'll be able to pass on anti-bodies.

Bri: I'm so glad you got a house there. Maybe it was better, because now you have a bigger space!
Jen: Oh No! I hope both of you get better and it doesn't have any long term negative effect. Well, besides bragging rights saying you lived through it and are now immune to it.

Vin: One of the things that the doctor emphasized is that this flu is actually more mild than any flu they've seen in years. It hits the very young, and the elderly the hardest. Of course my being pregnant also raises concerns. I asked him why it was such a big issue in the media then and he said "becaue there isn't a vaccine for it." When I was talking with Mom about it she said it was also her understanding that part of the media frenzy is that this flu caught us unprepared. Thankfully I haven't had a fever (which would be one of the bigger concerns with my being pregnant), I've just felt like I'm trying to hack up a lung, and my chest feels really tight. El hasn't coughed as much as I have, the main concern with her is the high fever. High fevers are always a concern in young children though.

And I hope El's fever stays down. While I was at college, very little news filtered down to us, but the swine flu was one thing that did. The campus doctors sent out many emails about how to protect yourself, by washing your hands ect. We kept thinking it was bull that this was getting so much news but had no one we could ask about it there.

Vin: Thanks heart We've been able to keep El's fever down with the Tylenol and Motrin. Yeah, in my opinion the media has made too big a deal of this. Of course the best way to protect yourself from any illness is to keep your hands washed and avoid contact with those who are ill. I guess that's part of the problem with this flu as well. I was told to keep El isolated. Apparently it's highly contagious.
