I've always preferred pokemon that evolve over ones that don't, just for the fun of watching the stats.
Hey, Bun, do you have something with false swipe at least? If there's anything I'm decent at, it probably is catching legendary pokemon.

its entai, he's asleep and in the red, so I've been running into him, throwing a quick ball at the start of battle, then using Dusk balls til I run out, then untra balls until eventually he uses roar.

I love catching stationary legends, hate the roaming ones.
Did you guys know Rol catches legendaries in Premier Balls? I think he has most of them. xD

Congrats on the catch! Those dogs are annoying.
Lol, although, I always train a Scyther and a Haunter to catch legendaries. For False Swipe and Hypnosis. Then random pokemon to soak up the big hits.
But now I'm confused. Doesn't he flee even while asleep in Soul Silver and Heart Gold now? He did that to me, unless there's a trick to that too?

I know people who catch them in basic pokeballs, just cause they can? iono. same as in a premier ball, but less cool xd

That IS a good trick. And then Entei was already asleep when Dugtrio was first?
Lol, I'm happy to catch legendary pokemon in whatever I can catch them in. I'm not bored enough to try regular pokeballs. I have enough trouble getting one down to 1 hp, and then watching them using Struggle to knock themselves out.

As far as the legendary beasts are concerned, the runners anyway, something with Soundproof or Suction Cups ability works too. And Cradily can be taught Block.

I had already encountered him many times xd so yes, I had a gengar use hypnosis on a previous encounter, he fell asleep and ran away. then I had the arena trap ready for the next time.
tis also how I caught latios (latias??) in ruby. had my gardevoir use hypnosis, then trapt it with a wobbefet 3nodding

The Suction Cups ability always cracks me up. Just the name of it.
I don't know why I didn't consider the others either. Probably because all those pokemon aren't normal ones I like to train, or find early enough in the game.

Rol, I guess you spend a lot on getting those Premier Balls? lol
I have a legendary capture team in HG. Comprized of retired Battlers. Kunai/Scizor = False Swiper, Shin/Luxray = T Wave and Flash user, Lunar/Umbreon = Soaks up those lucky shots. xD
