"Thanks," she said taking the piece of paper. Kalan slipped out the door closing it behind her. She looked down the hallways and turned right going down a staircase. She jogged downs three flights. Opening the fire escape door she crossed a lobby. "Its pretty late." A wide window showed the wind as it blew a plastic bag across the street. It was most likely freezing out there. Kalan winced. Though she often wrote poetry about it, she had never liked the cold or the snow.
Her legs hurt from sitting on them too long and Kalan was tired of the wind, so she sat down on a long couch against the wall to lay for a few minutes on her back. The lobby was warm and seemed inviting, but she could still smell the faint scent of blood around her. "Ugh.." She pulled her hands up holding them in front of the light. A bit of wolf blood was smeared on her arm. "Aww man." she said.
"Hey. What do you think you're doing?" A voice came from the door way, its thick Irish accent snapping Kalan back to reality. "You smell like wet dog." Asher said, stepping away from the frame.
"Me? What, did you find the place?" Kalan said sitting up. "Or were you just worried?" She pulled her knees up and hugged them, covering her arm with her coat.
"I was concerned when you disappeared from the park where I left you, yes. But that's not the only reason I came to find you. I got the address." He sauntered over to her side and put a hand to Kalan's forehead. "Your fever's worse. What have you been doing? Running around in the city?"
"No, just making friends." She replied pushing his hand away. "More importantly, you said you found the place. Where is it? Are we far?" The girl swung her legs over the side of the couch sitting upright.
"No Miss Kalan. We're actually fairly close." Asher grinned one of his evil smirks, and Kalan could tell just by his face that the apartment wasn't what she had expected. She groaned in reply. Was it really that bad? Maybe it would be a shack somewhere. No, even that wouldn't warrant this amount of amusement from Asher.
"Oy vey. Okay, spill it. Where is it?" She said rubbing the sleep from her eyes. Asher only grinned and pointed up. Kalan responded in the most logical way she could. "What?"
His snowy bangs, ruffled by the wind, fell into his eyes as he chuckled. "Up seven floors down two hallways and it's the door at the end." He smiled crossing his arms again. "Shall we go?"
"No way.." Kalan put her face in her hands. "You've got to be kidding me!" She groaned. In this place? It was filled with creatures, not to mention suicidal hunters.
"No ma'am. This isn't a joke." He laughed taking her bag. "Don't worry. The room is very nice. Its a two bedroom suite up on the seventh floor. Beautiful view of the park." Asher started towards the elevator.
"Noooo.. I thought Mom loved me." Kalan complained getting up and following him. It was going to be a long night.

Wakes up from his nap. His wounds are healed but the pain is still there. He pushes himself off his bed to find the two people talking. He has no clue what was going on but he walked in anyway.
" Hi! I fell much better! Thanks so much. So we moving out or what. also no need to leave the clean up squad will be here soon. Remeber this is a hunter aparment." He says.
His tall figure and stance is broken with all his scars. Scars trace over his abs and all over. He walks to the frige and takes out I nice big t-bone and begins to cook it over the stove.
"Anyone want one? It is fresh...well kinda. or we can go to the market on 7th street? if still open."
While he watches the steak cook he runs to his room and puts a shirt on and grabs his Assault rifle and puts leaning against the wall. He grabs his desert eagle and reloads it.

Stomach grumbling in hunger from the lack of substance, and fangs begging to sink into flesh. Jasie awoke out of her slumber. Coughing and letting go of a many great things; burdens being one of them. Jasie rotated her shoulders, stretched and loosened up her tense sleepy muscles. Opening her eyes she stared off into the empty void and took a deep comforting breath. The darkness swelled and hugged her. Letting her know that it too had missed her. Covering Jasie like a warm blanket, she knew it was the one thing that would never leave her side. And for that, Jasie found comfort in. Evaluating the situation, Jasie listened for signs of anyone within the apartment. Nothing. Frowning at that knowledge, Jasie punched through the floor boards of her prison and felt the cool breeze upon her pale skin.
Damn it feels good, to finally be out of that s**t hole. Jasie thought to herself and sat up. Only wearing a white muscle shirt and matching underwear, Jasie rose out from the floor boards and felt invigorated. Alive. Almost forgetting Jasie reached back down and grabbed her weapons, and the rest of her needed supplies.
After taking a hot shower and dressing. She didn't bother with the gapping hole in the floor, it wasn't her problem. She wasn't even a guess in this apartment building to begin with. Turning on the T.V. she watched as the world pretty much remained the same as she left it. A total s**t hole. Yet the beginning of what was the end of all damned and creatures alike barely hung on a whim. Things had escaladed farther, and Jasie already regretted going into a dead sleep.
Sighing softly Jasie roamed around the alternative waste, of an apartment. Jasie thought of the home that had nothing left for her, there was no use in going back to it. Only the memories of what had been was there to haunt her in every glance. Midnight had finally ran away, and she was better off anyway. Yet the void Jasie felt only grew with every passing, and missing thing in her life. At least she was truly on her own. And for once Jasie enjoyed the refreshing atmosphere of it. No one disturbing her lonely escapades of solitude. No one to take care of, or be concerned about.
“I’ve been gone for far to long…" Slipping on her black coat, Jasie snapped her guns into place and flung her hair back. Let’s go have some fun...

Asher had been right. The apartment was pretty nice. It was nothing compared to the family home though, but it did have a good view of the park. The forest was one of the only places Kalan had ever felt comfortable in, and being close to the park gave her some relief, however little that relief was. And it wasn't just a single window as she had expected. The view could be seen through the entire far side of the apartment. A wall of glass stood between Kalan and the darkness of night.
"Oh wow.." She breathed, pressing her hand against the long window. White carpets covered the floor and dark heavy cherry wood furniture was placed neatly around the main room. All in all the place was fairly proportioned and clean. She was surprised at the class the place had. Or was the room set up by her mother's New York connections?
The Alastronia family was a very old one, and had allies across the world. Even Kalan, the second heir of the family, wasn't aware of every aspect of the society her family had created. The web of names and faces in her mind stretched on to no end, and she hadn't even been to most locations run by her father. Their family alone had probably racked up numbers into the millions on their hit list of enemy's. Kalan realized that she was most likely partly at fault for the presence of so many nightwalkers in the States. The possibilities and resources placed in her hands were infinite. Her father ran his own hunting operations across all of Europe and parts of Asia. He was second only to the highest commanders of the Hunter Society. And as his daughter Kalan had always received the epitome of respect from other hunters. She was of noble blood, and was treated as such. So it was quite possible that her mother had eyes on her at all times even now.
"Noble blood..." The girl thought about this as Asher wandered around the apartment trying to show her things. "Asher. I need to talk to you."
The boy turned, his misty eyes falling on her and his half smile fading. "Yes Miss Kalan? Is it important?" he muttered. She sat on the arched couch running half the length of the window. "Well, yes. Sort of." Kalan pulled her coat off and folded it over the arm of the couch.
Asher knelt in front of her gazing out the window. "Is it about my absence earlier? If it is, then I can explain. I offer my utmost apologies in the matter. If I could have done anything to help I would have but I was-"
"No. Its not about that." She interrupted. "Its about how you speak. People will think it's weird if you keep calling me 'Miss Kalan.'" She fidgeted with her hands. She had received some odd looks on the plane and the occasional sideways glance from folks on the street at being called 'Lady' or 'Miss'.
Asher's brow furrowed as he watched her. "Then what should I call you Miss Kalan? Some kind of honorific is only appropriate. 'Miss' is as low as I can go without implying that you are no better than the average scum. I hope you know that I will not associate you with lowly filthy humans." He grunted standing again. The white haired boy towered over her, his cold eyes piercing her's.
"Asher. I am human." She muttered
"No, you're different. And I will not put up with such a drop in stature." He was very insistent, crossing his arms and leaning in closer. "I am not just some toy for you to play with. I am under your command, and if you are just some human, then I am just some human's servant. I will not stand for such an insult."
Kalan sighed. She understood. He would never change his mind if it meant his pride would have to compromise. "Alright. But just for awhile, for the sake of our cover, will you pretend I'm just you friend?" She let some of her energy slip, winding it and letting it mix with the air around him. She could feel his being melt a bit as she took control. Kalan looked up to him softly, using a bit of her power on him. "Please Asher?"
She could tell as his mood melted and he fell into her command. He stuttered for a second and then looked away, to the window, pretending to have seen something. "I don't know, what would I call you?"
She knew she had already won. "Just call me Kaye. Its not hard, just speak like brother does. Call me Kaye and don't kneel when close. Act like a normal human. For our cover?" She frowned, closing off her ability again. Kalan hated using it on people. Especially if she knew them. But sometimes it came to her automatically, without her control people would come to her with smiles and offers. She hated it, questioning her every friend to see if it was really their own will that made them stay.
Asher grimaced. "Fine. But I refuse to treat others as your equal. This is a request I will only answer on your command." He scowled, as he picked up her bag taking it to her room for her. "Remember, Mi- ...'Kaye'. The second we're out of this god forsaken land, is the second you return home, back to yours and my former glory. Do you understand?" He concluded turning to look her in the eyes.
Kalan sighed, letting him have his way. "Yes Asher. I understand." She looked out the window to the park again. "Tomorrow we need to look for Aiden.."
"Right you are." He said as he left.

(( she is talking to her campanion, she left while you were K.Oed))
david looked at the hunter, he had healed fast he suddenly remembered that the cops might come at any minute but at the mention of a cleanup squad he relaxed a bit he remembered that he was still in his wolf form, maybe it wasnt the best idea to look like he was catching the attention of anybody he ran into. he changed back, his clothes torn from the exitment earlier, oh well he thought they will probably just think of it as a style or something. At the mention of food his stomach growled, he thought to himself when was the last time I ate? he was pretty hungry, he decided to take up the hunters offer. " okay, I guess I will have some time before I have to go, It dosnt matter if the steak is fresh or not" ,after this he would probably head home and check his messages to see if he had any jobs. but for now he could eat in peace.
(( just so you guys know I will probably post less since it is almost time for school))

"I mean when, 19th centurie or earlier. I was turned when I was 18 in 1929. I was a steelworker. Working late and he got me. Luckly he saved me..A hunter he said I can join so I did."
He takes the two steaks off the stove and puts them on a plate. He puts salt and peper. He places the steaks on the table.
" Go ahead dig in. By the way, Ash is looking for someone? Who? I have a database in my computer of all my contacts. I can possible get a name or a loaction. I am a great tracker. I want to help."
He hears a knock on the door.
"Clean up squad...We need to eat outside. It is safe."

((saw a couple of mistakes sweatdrop , fixed them though 3nodding ))
david also heard the knock on the door."okay does this mean we eat on the porch?" he grabed his plate and started to get up. "and to answer you question on kalan I think whoever she was looking for was neerby otherwise she wouldnt be running off by herself" he remembered the piece of paper he gave her. "anyway I asked her if i could help and she turned me down, and I bet that she might turn you down for help as well." david opened the screen door leading toward the outside. " I know that she will be just fine dont worry about it." he cut a piece of stake and started to chew on it, it was as good as it looked." oh ya, I almost forgot, I was bitten around 2006 like I said I was 15 then." the response he got from the hunter earlier shocked him, he was older than he looked.

Goes outside to eat. He taste the steak and thinks to himself 'Mmm I am good" He begins to chew and eat some more,
" I love begining immortal! I mean I hate to turn but WHOA! Right now if I have'nt been bitten I would be in a dirt nap. FOREVER!" He says.
He looks behind him and watches the men clean the body and clean the blood. He laughs he cleans the house. He thinks to himself " have'nt cleaned in years." I love the benfits of begined a hunter.
"So who is this "Kalan" and why is she so un-social I mean you need freinds to surive." He says while eating.
No manners.

david smiled, being a lycan was great but it also had some drawbacks. he looked at his steak and took another bite. he sighed, one of the things he missed the most was the taste of a crisp apple, now it all just tasted like dirt. But still being a lycan did help him in his work..... david finished up his steak and said, "you know I dont think kalan is anti-social, maybe if I went along with her I would be more hinderince than help." she is mysterious though he thought to himself, I dont know a thing about her exept that her name is kalan. oh well, if she wants to reveal herself she will when she is ready david got up and handed the hunter his plate. "I have got to go now, I have work to do tonight." he suddenly remembered something."oh! I almost forgot, here is you desert eagle, i never shot a single round so it should be full." . he prepared to jump off the porch, he couldnt keep his client waiting he could be killed in his absence.
