"Well, if you don't want to get out of bed, you don't have too." Lily told him, lightly stroking his hair. "I mean, I like seeing you out of bed, but I'd wait on you hand and foot if you decided to live there."
"I'm part dragon." Vincent answered, then sighed. "Humans just are, I guess. They don't have many natural defenses... so things scare them a lot. Though they can be nice, as well." he added, not wanting to give the boy the wrong idea. "Arlen, for example, seems to be fine with other races."

"Maybe I'll try that then," Arlen said, the hair stroking comforting him a bit. "All I do down her is lie around anyways."

"..Dragon?.." The boy asked standing up and staring at him for a moment."..nice...people arn't nice.." He said slowly and lowly he didn't know better though his mind made all these things seem like a dream and he wasn't about to let himself fall for that agian."..Arlen..is a person...he sould be fine.." He muttered softly ears falling softly against his head. He wasn't believing this, first he was fed then he was hugged givin a new name...This wasn't funny anymore."..Are you a dream?.." He asked in a soft tone of voice fiddling softly on his shirt again.

"That is not all yo-" With a sigh, Lily cut herself off. Everyone needed to indulge in self-pity sometimes, and she would let him do so... for now. If it lasted too long, though, she'd try to snap him out of it. Her hands continued to run through his hair, and after a moment, she kissed his cheek. "Want me to rub your shoulders?" she asked softly.
"People can be nice." Vincent corrected softly, then chuckled. "No, I'm not a dream. I'm real... if you go to sleep, then wake up, I'll still be here. Do you want me to be a dream?" he asked, watching the boy.

"Okay... c'mon... we can sit on a couch, or up on the bed, if you want to be away from you know who." Lily told him softly, carefully taking his hand and leading him out to the main room.

Lily sighed, slightly dispirited at Arlen's mood... he seemed so sad... Silently, the teen straddled him, her weight on her knees so that she wasn't actually sitting on him. Then, touch firm but gently, she started to massage his shoulders, seeking out any knots of tension and kneading them.
"Good." Vincent ruffled the boys hair, then sat beside him, letting out a soft sigh. "We'll take care of you, Kaden. I promise. Me and Ukaia, Lily, Arlen... everyone here."

"..Okay.." He said not fully understanding what he ment by everyone. Yawning softly He reached up and covered his mouth, making a strange noise as he leaned over a bit, eyes becoming heavy. "..Mm.." Rubbing at them he tryed his might to stay awake to continue talking with Vincent. Tail laing still and lazily on the floor, ears still perched up though, like usual. Watching or staring at the blanket he gave away to Ukaia he huddled to himself and let his eye close as he slumped over, almost ready to fall over onto the floor as he fell into a deeper sleep. Unlike what he saw river do, Sit up and sleep deeply all at once, he couldn't do that all that well.

Arlen grunted occasionally as Lily worked out the tighter knots, but otherwise was quiet during the massage.

"Here... the blanket's big enough for the two of you." Vincent murmured to the boy, smiling. "If you wanted, I'm sure she wouldn't mind sharing it. You seem tired... if you'd rather sleep alone, I could take you up to our room and tuck you in."
The teen worked from his shoulders downward, stopping when she reached his lower back, then went back up. When that was done, she bit her lower lip, then sighed and lay next to Arlen, snuggling. "I wish I knew how to help you."

"..No.." He said shyly as he watched Ukaia for a moment."..I don't wanna share....thats.." He bcame awfuly quiet as his face changed color again, this time red. His eyes transfixed on the floor.
In a moment, River pushed open the door silently and yawned, walking towards the bar before heading out again. She had taken a wine glass, which was odd since she was leaving. Once out the door she began walking into the forest, whistling softly.
